We used JC's the 1st time in 2019 and were very happy all around....promptness, quality of work, and price. After the u e stir. The other year we had several trees that needed attention. At the time Jerry, JC's, was unavailable and we ended up using another tee service that I had seen in our neighborhood and had had some good reviews. They did do the work, but they were pricey and made me feel like we were lucky to have them available. We decided we would not use them again or refer them. Thus year we lost a tree in one of the storms and fortunately Jerry, JC's, was available. Again, very happy with work done! Crew always goes above and beyond. Very reasonable prices and friendly crew. I would happily refer to friends and neighbors! read more

I was sitting at lunch by myself when this man (photo attached) wouldn't stop staring at me. He then stopped in front of my computer and i waived my hands for him to leave me alone. He then comes back around, asks me why I was waving my hands at him, and proceeds to give me the bird and tell me to stop being "so fucking stupid". If you're going to harass women at the bar I would suggest you not do it in your work shirt. Hold men accountable for harassment of women. read more

JC's Professional Tree Service - Tree Services Near Me - Austin, Texas

I have been a customer of JC's Professional Tree Service since June 10, 2010. I have used Jerry's tree service 15 times over this last 12 years. I would not have continued using his service if it were not extremely good. Jerry has always been very prompt in contacting me when I need tree service help. He is sincere, honest, knowledgeable and very helpful with his recommendations. This last time, January 19, 2023, I had a large Elm fall from disease and wind. Jerry had previously warned me about this particular tree. I waited until it was blown over. I was lucky and did not suffer fence damage. (Very lucky.) I receive compliments all the time about my "park like" yard. My expansive yard is beautiful with literally over a 50 to 60 Elm and Spanish oak trees. I owe the beauty of my trees to JC's Professional Tree Service. I feel totally confident and secure having Jerry's crew come out and do their magic on my wonderful trees. I will never use anyone else to do this important work. read more

Highly recommend JC's Professional Tree Service. Professional, prompt, reliable, reasonably priced and they cleaned up after themselves. I had a lot of overgrown trees that they handled with care, while respecting my property. I could not be happier with the end result. read more

I couldn't recommend Jerry and his team enough. He is very professional, knowledgeable, and gave a fair price. My project was large in size that consisted of a ton of overgrowth, most causing a hazard to the property. I was impressed with their ability to take down such large trees without having any accidents with the main structure. read more

The winter storm killed several of our trees. We drug our feet having them removed - mainly because we were sad to lose them. We talked with several tree companies, but after meeting Jerry we decided to go with his team. Although we were sad to see the dead trees go, we were amazed at how hard the guys worked to make the remaining trees as pretty and healthy as they could be. These guys worked harder than I could have imagined and couldn't be more pleased with them. Will definitely use them in the future if and when the need arises. read more

I've used JC's Professional Tree Service three times now in the last 10 years since I've owned my house This last time I contacted Jerry right before Christmas and he had the crew working the next day! They cut down three trees and trimmed up five trees. Plus they went through the property and picked up all the additional loose limbs and branches that had fallen in the last year. They were pretty fast, too. All the work was finished in four hours! There's still stump grinding work left to do, but Jerry will have that done at a later date. This guy knows his trees! read more

Jerry was referred to me by a neighbor and he did a great job. He gave me a prompt, fair estimate and the work was done quickly and efficiently. They removed a large tree and the other trees on our property were trimmed. Everything turned out perfectly! I would not hesitate to recommend JC'S Professional Tree Service. read more

Our property has a lot of live oaks, cedars, and assorted other smaller trees such as Yaupons Hollys. The live oaks grow like crazy, and over hang the house. We called JC's, and Jerry came out and walked the property with me. He showed me which trees he recommended trimming, which limbs should be removed, and which trees should be removed completely. I'm not a big fan of cutting down trees completely, but he helped me understand why, and we agreed. Jerry immediately offered a copy of his insurance policy, giving me the peace of mind that he's not just some fly-by-night company. His crew came out the next day and got to work. They did a great job. The live oaks are no longer overhanging the house. Trimming the trees in front opens up the front of the house, and makes it look much better. Even though a lot was trimmed in the back yard, the overall canopy and shade still remains. It no longer looks like an overgrown, out of control forest. The crew cleaned up all of the mess, branches, etc. They sprayed the end of the cut limbs to seal/protect the trees. I'm very pleased with the results, and would definitely use JC's again. read more

I've been a customer of JC's Tree Service for several years now for my own home and for rental properties I own. For my first job, Jerry, Miguel and crews knocked it out of the park with excellent pricing and very quick, complete and efficient service. And each time I've needed tree work, my experience with Jerry has been the same. He comes quickly when called to evaluate the job and provide a quote. He schedules his team to do the work within a few days and when they arrive they complete the job and the clean-up very efficiently. I will use his service in the future and recommend him for any tree work you might have. read more

JC's tree service job was to trim back two Heritage Oaks removing deadwood and moss and also taking down a large cedar tree. They did a great job on both. Good cleanup and professional service. Prices were very fair. Would use again. read more

We recently had JC Professional Tree Service work on 4 of our trees that were in bad shape. They are just beautiful now, they took out the dead stuff and raised the canopies. Jerry comes out and walks your property and shows what needs to be done. He gives you a packet with his insurance information and a bid came the next day. I have never seen men work so hard and fast in my life. Totally knew their job, rarely took breaks and finished in one full day. And last but not least, Jerry doesn't stick it to you, very reasonable price for fantastic work. I would recommend him and his crew to everyone. read more

Well I don't know about their tree service, but I had an incident on the road with a guy driving the company truck. I called the phone number on the truck and a guy answered, listened to my complaint about his driver then started talking about the incident and me rudely... turns out he was the jerk driving the truck that caused the incident! I don't see any current reviews of his business so maybe he's no longer in business? It wouldn't surprise me if this is how he behaves knowing he's driving a truck with his company logo and phone number on it. I need my trees evaluated and trimmed but he will never get my business and I hope you think twice before using him as well. read more

Jerry was great to work with. He gave us a fair price for a great service. Jerry made great recommendations and his guys were knowledgeable, courteous and fast. I will use this company again for sure! read more

I highly recommend Jerry and his crew to take care of any of your tree needs. Jerry gave me the best estimate out of 5 tree trimming services. His guys showed up and climbed to the top of a huge tree in my front yard and cleaned it all up. The tree and my yard both look awesome! I couldn't even tell that they had been there because they cleaned up so well and hauled everything off. read more

What a hard working professional group! I bought a large property and had to remove about 40 trees and then some. JC and his crew were there 3 days straight until it was finished. He walked the property and gave me good sound advice about which trees were good to leave and why. My oaks can now see the sunlight:) He also took out large bushes and holly trees around the house and dug out the entire root system. Allowing my gardner to plant natives that don't require water. They also lifted the canopy on all the oaks and took away the dead branches too. I wish I had done a before and after...It looks amazing. JC's head guy, Miguel was awesome to deal with and good english too. This is my 2nd home I've used them on. read more

My experience with JC's was a positive one. We had 5 live oak trees that needed some attention. After getting several quotes, we came across JC's, and they were very professional. They were not the least expensive, but they worked with me to achieve my goals. Once the work was complete, I was very happy, and my trees never looked better! I would recommend JC's to anyone! read more

Jerry and his crew came as a referral to me by a builder. I needed someone I could trust to do a good job, as this is my second home and I couldn't even be there when they did the job! He was very professional and kept in touch throughout the process. When I was able to get there, I was so VERY happy with the results!! Great job, very reasonably priced and a pleasure to work with!!! read more

JC's crew did a great job with crown raising, sucker removal, and ball moss removal on our many large oaks. Quick and good job and with great clean up afterwards, too. I recommend. read more

We are very happy with the service from JC's Tree Service. We had a lot of mesquite trees in our backyard and they did a wonderful job cleaning up the thorns after cutting them down. I was truly worried about that. We have small dogs that like to eat everything and grandchildren playing so this was a concern. No problem, Miguel and his crew made sure I was happy with the work before they left and I was. Thanks again guys. Apologies if the name is spelled incorrect. read more

These folks can really walk the walk. Jerry was able to get a crew out to my place on short notice and then they knocked it out of the park. Had two 70 foot Red Oaks trimmed up for the first time in their lives - Miguel and the hombres arrived on time, got right to it and then finished ahead of their estimated time. No one was injured; several massive limbs were dropped very professionally using ropes; over all I am very happy with the work I had done and can feel very good recommending these folks. read more

had 4 trees removed. Was prompt, timely, and efficient. Cleaned up the area and hauled trash away, all for a good price. Would hire again read more

I had a tree come down in the storms over Memorial Day. Despite the fact it was a holiday, Jerry called me back within a few minutes and came to give me an estimate the same day. He identified another tree that had been hit by the first one, tagged them both and gave me a very reasonable quote. Two days later everything was taken away. I found Jerry professional and efficient and would certainly use his services again. read more

Without notifying me beforehand, or asking my permission, JC's employees entered my back yard, climbed in my heritage oak tree, and sawed off several medium-to-large diameter limbs. When I called the company, the owner told me that they were hired by the owner of the house behind ours and were only trimming the limbs back to the property line. He also said that they had no obligation to inform me about their plans before they started cutting off limbs. He didn't explain what gave their employees the right to come into my back yard and climb into the tree without my permission to do their work. read more

Jerry Cosper and his crew have worked with us at two of our homes to clean up, prune, shape and enhance our trees. At our first home, we were trying to both shape and open up the hillside view on trees down in a canyon. At our current home, we had nearly fifty trees which had never been pruned or shaped in the 25 years since the house was constructed. Jerry and his crews did amazing work at both homes, cleaned up every bit of limbs and debris from their cutting work, and enhanced the trees, and aesthetic of the homes in both areas with their great work. We would recommend Jerry and his crews to anyone seeking quality tree trimming and shaping work at a reasonable price. read more

Jerry provided a prompt estimate and a good price. The service was provided in a timely manner and nothing on my property was damaged as has been the case with other companies in the past. I would strongly recommend this company. read more

Well I don't know about their tree service, but I just witnessed a guy in a Jcs tree service truck berating his family in the Home Depot parking lot in Hutto. So if I do need tree service, not calling this company. If their employees treat their families like that, can't imagine how they treat customers. read more

Jerry was very prompt in contacting me to arrange a meeting for an estimate. He was so helpful during the visit and we were very pleased with his quote. His employees were very professional and thorough and I was especially pleased with the clean up. During a recent storm we had 20 trees blown down in our yard. I called my regular tree company & JC's, as I had seen his crew working in the area & the work looked really good. Jerry came right out & as it turned out his price was much lower than the company I had used before. I gave JC's the job & boy am I glad! His crew came out the next morning & hit the ground running. It has been a long time since I was this impressed with a company. They did everything they were supposed to, and more. They showed up on time, did there jobs really well & cleaned up after themselves. My yard looks GREAT! Thanks Jerry, I won't use any company but yours. Harold M. read more

I recently needed two trees in my yard trimmed. I googled a recommendation and two people called me back and set up times to come give a bid. JC.s was the only one to follow through on his word, even calling to tell me he would be a few minutes late. He was honest, professional and fair. I immediately took his bid and he did the work on my timeline and I was very happy with the work his crew did. I can only afford to do small jobs at a time and he will do the work for you. I will be calling him again soon and I suggest if you need tree work call J C's, you won't be sorry. He is a certified Aborist and he knows his business. He will do recommendations for you also. read more

I would not use JC's Professional Tree Service if my life depended on it. Jerry is now using sub contractors to perform the work at least he did at my two job sites. I had to argue with the workers to get the work done correctly at my home and then they left a huge tree limb on my rental property and would not clean it up....unfortunately I trusted Jerry to live up to his word which he did not. When I addressed this issue with Jerry he told me to contact his sub contractor and when his sub contractor would not resolve the issue, Jerry said he would take care of the problem. He did not remove the huge tree limb and is refusing to communicate with me about the issue. If you want to pay good money and get half the job done utilize this business. read more

We have nothing but good things to say about JC's Professional Tree Service. The price was lower than a bid from an uninsured contractor and the service was great! Prompt and professional! read more

Great quick service! Very professional! I can now see my house, and the neighbors can't complain about my shrubs!

I have a large red oak and 4 large live oaks and all needed trimming in the worst way. It has literally been years since the last time they were trimmed. Jerry inspected my trees and provided a very reasonable proposal. His crew showed up on time and got right to work removing deadwood, low growing limbs and raising the canopy of each tree. The crew was friendly, very professional and did their job in a workmanlike manner. All of the brush/cuttings were hauled off and the property was cleaned up. Care was taken to seal where the limbs were pruned. I am extremely happy with the result and will call JC's Professional Tree Service again. read more

These guys did a fantastic job on a fairly large job on our property. Trees were overhanging our roof, entwined with our power line. They got it all taken care of, and more, when I called to thank them I mentioned there were some branches and debris that was not removed (probably just fell off the trailer) he had guys out the next day to take them away. Good Job! read more

We are cedar free thanks to JC. I needed around ten 8 to 15 inch diameter cedar trees taken down and hauled away, along with brush from another 10 or so that I had already taken down. Jerry was great to work with and his guys worked very hard to knock out this job within a very short time frame. They are a very nice bunch of guys and were always on time. I couldn't be more pleased. Jerry took his time with me (about 45 mins) to make sure his quote included all the work I needed done and it was unbelievably reasonable, almost 50% less than another company who took all of 5 mins to formulate their quote. Jerry also came across a few "weed trees" that he offered to take down for me free of charge. He is very knowledgeable and always took his time to answer my questions. He is honest also. I know this, because I mistakenly asked him to take down a tree I thought was a weed tree and, while he could have agreed and charged me for it, he declined, explaining that it was not a bad weed tree and I should keep it. I will definitely call upon JC's Professional Tree Service again. I appreciate you Jerry! read more
