I purchased my husband a beautiful 14K gold and Diamond anniversary band at JCP online and when it was delivered it was the incorrect size and color. I immediately called customer service and spoke with a very nice lady who said I could return the ring locally and reorder there. That's exactly what I did this evening and was helped by a very nice gentleman named Richard. He was friendly, courteous, and efficient. He returned the incorrectly sized/color ring back to my card, and re-ordered the same ring in the correct sizing. We were in and out in no time. Now that's what I call FANTASTIC customer service. Need fine jewelry ... go see Richard, he'll treat you right!! read more

This review is for the Sephora inside JC Penney. Went in today and was going to buy the makeup that I have been using for a year... after speaking with Adrian and voicing NY concerns for my skin type and issues with current makeup, he made a couple recommendations, and WOW what a difference. He is so knowledgeable, and has excellent customer service. It was crazy busy in the store, and he was so pleasant and helped each person that visited the store. Very highly recommend Adrian for color matching and over all knowledge. read more

I've been shopping here for years, and have never seen the clothing tables so messy. It is a sign of the times, the end times I'm afraid. I'm not sure there is even a manager there anymore. Online shopping is still the best way to go and ship to the store. The register for online shopping is usually not too busy. Oops gave away a well kept secret. read more

I went to the JcPenney today trying to find my son a suit for homecoming. I didn't know what to get him at all. I went up to a worker and I think his name was Andrew. He looked busy but he was glad to help me. He taught my son how to apply his bow tie and his suspenders while allowing me to get colors that combine with his outfit. Another worker named Amanda came along and was folding clothes in the fitting room area and gave my son some advice about asking a girl out to homecoming and taught my son a little something about being a true gentlemen. I cannot thank these workers enough. I went downstairs but was not helped once. I couldn't find myself an outfit for a wedding coming up. Thank you so much Amanda and Andrew you guys are great! read more

I don't even know where to start with this store, maybe hire more people to help get this place organized and not look like a garage sale. While there were about eight to nine people in line and one cashier like four team members were over talking (including a manager). For some reason this store has gone down hill, it's a mess and they have no employees to help out. I am giving this one star just because of the experience and it's not the only time I have been here, thought I would try it again. read more

Customer experience is terrible here. We have been waiting in line to purchase for 30 min and the associate has left to go get change. Poorly staffed with clothing and other merchandise thrown all over the store. I do not recommend this store. The staffing needs to seriously be adjusted to allow people to make purchases. read more

Best store ever, you can't beat the sales. The variety of styles in unbelievable.

I saw 3 Fitting rooms downstairs in the ladies department and only one of them was open. The floors were riddled with clothing (yes, the floors), and there is only one register. Today there was one person at the register and I felt sorry for her because there were at least 7 people in line. I had 2 tops and a sweater I would have bought but after seeing how long the wait was decided to go to Macy's instead. I think additional staff is much needed. read more

Worst store to ever check out in. Literally took me 34 minutes to get to the register with 3 cashiers and only 6 people ahead of me in line!!! One cashier took 15 minutes to check out one person!!! read more

Last night while shopping and minding my own business, I couldn't help but notice a lady screaming at the top of her lungs to a young associate at the front desk. She was hollering at her calling her names and demanding to see a manager. Not only was she freaking out on the young girl behind the counter but when a by stander said something to her she started freaking out on them as well!! The young lady, whose name is Jennifer (I later asked her name) was AMAZING about the situation and handled it very very very well!! She remained calm and asked the angry lady to please not speak to her like that. The lady kept yelling and hollering and Jennifer continued to remain calm and help her out the best she could. I work in customer service and know first hand how difficult it can be to keep your cool when a client is angry with you but this lady took it to a whole other level. Being a manager myself in a customer service job I look for people like Jennifer to be able to bring on, who are professional in a difficult situation like last night. She was amazing!! read more

After searching the sales floor twice to locate a comforter which was listed in a sales ad, After standing in line, I asked the sales assoc Lindsey, if she could assist me and she stated that she did not know the location and that I would have to look on the floor, I explained that I had previously looked and was unable to locate the item, Lindsey still stated she was unable to help me. I finally received help in locating the item from a sales assoc who was on her way to lunch (item was mismarked), After ringing up the comforter Lindsay informed me that she was unable to remove the security tag and that because she had stapled an orange tag on the item it would be ok. As I was leaving I approached another sales assoc and asked about the security device and she stated that the security device should have been removed, she then walk with me through door where the detector went off. Very poor service from Lindsey, kudos to Miriam and the other sales assoc who help me. read more

I went in for an eye exam and get new glasses. Eye doctor was awesome. Knew exactly what I was talking about and recommended things to help. Lady that helped get my frames was great too, she knew exactly what my insurance was covering and my best options were! Great service! read more

Excellent customer service! I had checked 2 other stores for my makeup and came here and they were also out, Olivia went out of her way to hunt one down for me in their back store room. Very sweet and helpful! read more

A young lady helped me the other day but I lost my receipt with the survey, so I am hoping she can see this!! Leah inside Sephora was an amazing help to me. She was so incredibly kind, and extremely helpful!!! It was my first time in Sephora and I haven't really worn much makeup before. She helped me find everything from foundation to eyeshadows! She taught me a couple tricks when it comes to the cat eye liner, and taught me about the contour as well! I am so thankful for her help and will most definitely be coming back to see her! read more

Richard in the jewelry department is so wonderful. He is friendly and knowledgeable of all the stones. Store has great sales, lots of product to choose from and they offer to look online if they dont have a certain size in something. The rewards program is winning me back and my granddaughter is already a platinum status there. Only thing to improve upon is more staff in shoe department. read more

Went to the shoe department on Tuesday evening after getting no useful help at Macy's. Had a great experience in the shoe department here. Even though they got extremely busy at one point and had only one associate to help the young woman did a fantastic job managing all the clients at once. She was able to attend to everyone including myself until help arrived for her. I was very impressed, especially since my wife and I had just left Macy's and got no help with three associates standing around. I walked out with a new pair of dress shoes for work very happy with the service and the price I paid. I will defiantly consider JCP on my next dress shoe purchase for work just based off this last experience. Thanks JCP Temecula. read more

I'm writing this review for the JCP Portrait Studio in the Temecula Promenade mall. I took my 2 month old daughter to get some photos done, Groupon in hand. Not only do they have great deals via Groupon, the service was amazing! Our photographer was named Kristin, and she was so patient with me and my mother-in-law. We did 3 different outfit changes for my daughter, including some toys in some of the photos. Then she let us play on the computers there to make the images we wanted. When the images came in and I realized I had made a mistake in ordering of 2 of my sheets, she fixed them right away for no extra charge. Sweet, helpful girl and an overall great experience for us. read more

I love shopping at JC Penny. Great sale save $10 every $25 purchase. But there's one employee name ASPEN skinny young girl with long black hair gives JC Penney a bad name. Every time she's there working, it's a problem. Her attitude towards customer is beyond ridiculous. Today almost 15 mins to closing time I was at Home Dept (2nd floor) she's ringing up this lady in a very slow speed, letting customer try on shoes at the register, while me patiently waiting in line for 20mins. I had to asked her if I can still get out when it's late bec I'll be the last customer on the 2nd floor. She responded with the attitude "you can go to the men's dept" & my response was "are you serious after waiting long enough in line by the time I get to the other register it might be close. Then she started rolling her eyes & even took more time ringing up the items of her customer. I've mentioned to her that this was not the first time she was rude to me. Her feisty response was " I don't even remember you." Gladly, another cashier came & ASPEN told her to ring me up then she left the register. Obviously, this young lady hates her job because it reflects how she gives bad service to customers. read more

Last June I was going to Mexico and so I went shopping for clothes I would need for my trip. I spent well over $250. I got home and noticed my jewelry I bought was not in any of my bags. I left for my trip two days later and couldn't go in to take care of this issue. I called and spoke to Debbie, who claimed she was a manager. I gave her my receipt number and she said they would have to review the tapes. I gave her my number and she promised to call back in a few days. I went on my trip for the weekend and when I got back I called several times. The people I spoke with would put me on hold and talk to get but she wouldn't speak to me herself. I got the complete run around. I am a travel nurse and did not work in the area so I couldn't go in. Her lack of professionalism and her horrible customer service makes me never want to go to a Jcpenney again. What a horrible person to treat a good customer like that. All over $30 in jewelry. read more

Robin, the designer that came out to our home was great. The follow up from the store to keep us informed as to the statice of our order was great. The install date was great & on time. Then the install, the first guy that came out was a nightmare & should not be installing at all! He put the rods on crooked, uneven side to side, numerous holes to put rods up, sprayed silicone spray on the rod over my brand new carpet without any covering laid on the floor. The drapes were the wrong length, both off an inch. One set was completely made in a defective manner, pleats didn't line up, etc. Wrinkles would not come out to my satisfaction on either set. The plan was to send someone else out to look at them & re-make the really bad set. They let me keep them while I waited for a new set. The new set came out better & I am about 90% happy with them. The other set were left to see if the wrinkles would fall out. A second man that came out Ray was great! He straighten everything out. The second set of drapes had to go back for pressing, in the end wrinkles didn't come out. They added a string on the bottom inside of the drape to help it hold the pleats. A white string that showed & caused the drape to pucker. This was not good & in about a week or so I stepped back on the drape & broke the string. It had to go anyway, Robin came back out for a final evaluation & decided the string was stupid too. She took pics & sent all info to the manager. We ended up getting a discount but I'm not happy with what I got. Will never use penny's again. Not the same as 20 years ago! Pricing was fair but quality was horrible. read more
