I've been coming here for at least 5 years, and normally it's been great--but my last two visits? Not so much. I ordered Rx sunglasses and didn't get the original lenses. Was told they don't do that, which confused me because I've been getting the original lenses along side my Rx lenses for the previous 3 sunglass orders. Most recently, when I went to pick up my glasses, they couldn't find the case. I got handed a generic one that didn't even fit properly. Ask for another one, and they tried to hand me a soft sided case. And a lens wipe? Nope. "We don't do that anymore," I was told. The office used to give you a bag, a small bottle of lens cleaner, and a fresh lens wipe-felt like a little gift each time. Not sure if it's tariffs or what, but something's changed.

So I can only tell you my honest experience with this company I've never heard of this happening,…read morebut I went in and the doctor said that my prescription got better that I would need to purchase two pair glasses because my prescription had changed so dramatically so I had a old pair and I purchased a new pair It was a little bit pricey more than I wanted to spend, but I did it. I was told that I would have to come back in three months to change my prescription to the full strength but only go half strength. The doctor was doctor Ho three months later I went to drop off one pair of glasses so they could do the full strength of the prescription I did so and I got a call back from one of the employees there he stated the doctor asked was a prescription well for you and I said yes it was but I would only drop off one pair because I am a truck driver and need a second pair to drive Then I will drop off the second pair when the first pair comes back. They stated to me that this prescription would be fine and I did not need to go for the full change in prescription. This upset me because the reason I purchased two pairs of glasses was because of what the doctor had told me that they could not change the full prescription Due to the fact it was such a dramatic change. I then realized I did not need to purchase two pairs of glasses I was frustrated upset came in very upset and my intention was to write a negative review if for the doctor not telling me what she did. I would've never purchased a second pair of glasses. I forget their names, but they know who they are the two managers at this establishment handled my frustration with such respect and integrity that I could not write a disrespectful or negative review they get five stars in my book. The only reason I put four stars is because of the doctor that they have here Again I really appreciate the way that they handled my frustration and the way they took care of the second pair of glasses for me thank you so much. I really appreciate you because in these times right now every dollar spent counts you know who you are and I appreciate you and I have the upmost respect for you. Thank you so much and I do recommend this establishment maybe not the doctor But these young men and young women that work here are true professionals thank you.

My mom needed new Rx lenses for her Silhouette frames. If you're familiar with these frames then…read moreyou know that they have a variety of different shapes and sizes to complement the frames. My mom wanted larger sized lenses for her progressive Rx rather than the current smaller ones. Unfortunately not many places carry the Silhouette brand but they also will not make new lenses if you bring in the frames. I called around and luckily spoke to a very patient and helpful lady who explained the situation regarding the Silhouette brand AND they will make make new lenses for my mom's frames here! Eureka! For those who are wondering why she doesn't just get new frames...this frame is ultra light since it's titanium and super durable cuz my mom has had it for a few decades. It also is her favorite frame so she doesn't want to change them. You know how the 'wiser'/older people don't like change lol. Anywho...we drive up to Folsom from Elk Grove. As soon as we walk in we're greeted warmly and with a smile. I again explain our predicament regarding my mom's frames. Ashley kindly guides us to the section that displays what we need. She patiently gives us advice, answers questions and does a lot of measuring and consulting. Needless to say she spends quite a bit of time with mom carefully measuring for the new lenses. My mom commented that she's never had anyone take such care with her measurements before. Poor Ashley... she was done with my mom but then it was my turn. She took at least an hour or so combing the internet searching for some frames for me. It had to be within specific parameters since I'm extremely nearsighted with astigmatism, need nose pads, light weight frames (preferably titanium), full frame, certain shape and size, etc. She was brain storming with the other nice lady in the office trying to find some suitable frames. They were busy in there with patients coming and going but we never felt rushed or shorted on customer service. Kudos to these ladies who delved out superb customer service with patience, humor and smiles ! Parking was easy and plentiful. They had great 80s music playing softly in the background that I quietly jammed to while browsing through the vast variety of frames. I'll definitely whisk my mom back to this establishment from Elk Grove. She was treated with kindness and patience which speaks volumes. Both ladies went out of their way to help in every way to make our experience as fun and smooth as possible. TY Ashley and the front desk lady...sorry I don't remember your name.

I found the pair of glasses that I was looking for, but alas I have a huge and awkward shaped head. Lynn was extremely professional, kind and non-judgmental. She was so patient with me and her attitude really stood out. To have someone so kind meant a great deal, especially when I was so insecure about the glasses fitting right. Her adjustments did the trick and I am one happy customer. I've been very pleased with all my prior visits and Dr. Han is very professional and knowledgeable. The reason for my visit to this office in Rancho Cordova was that I had a screw come loose and fall out. This was the part of the glasses that sits on the ear piece. I walked in during lunch and they told me told come back in 45 mins. The optician had just stepped out for lunch. Lobby was clean and the desk support staff put me in for a walk in appointment to come back. When I came back I was instantly greeted walking in the door by name and told to have a seat. The optician approached me and told me their name (which I unfortunately forgot) but she asked if I was there for an eye glasses adjustment. She took my pair of glasses after I said yes, looked and them and took them to work on. I think it wasn't more than 5-10 minutes tops and she brought them back out to me with the screw back intact and no more shaking loose over the ear! There was "no fee" for this adjustment but I still thanked her and wanted to make sure to give their office a 5 star review for their staff kindness, exceptional service for fitting me in as a walk in and expertise to fix the glasses during my lunch break so I wasn't waiting long! Thank you all so much!
