I was assured that I'd be called or texted when the technician was on his way. I expected to have to wait the full 2-hour window I was given, but no! I was called about 5 minutes before the window started to see if I was still available. The technician arrived exactly on time, right at the start of the window! After a short explanation of my needs he just said "OK, let's take a look at the space and talk about it." He explained every step of what they'd do to install a tankless water heater, he looked at the whole area to check for pipes, electrical access, spacing inside and out for a condensation line - making feel very comfortable that it would be planned before the installation to avoid last minute issues. A big plus, he told me he'd be part of the installation team. He also told me I should go ahead and get another few quotes. I think these guys are confident they're giving the prices in the sweet spot of costs. Then we spent time just talking about landscaping and plants! I'm not in a hurry to start this project, it's on my list of improvements and I'm just starting to investigate. However, I'm extremely impressed with the service given at this stage, the thorough approach in explaining, and the honestly. I will get another quote, but the next one has a high bar to cross; not only the service, but Water Heaters Masters quote was WELL below the only other quote I had gotten so far. Given the complexity of this job, I wanted to make sure it was done right. Communication was excellent. Mauro was able to come by for an estimate within a few days, and from there, his office crew helped me plan and schedule the work. Additionally, they handled the permit and inspection coordination. They were able to schedule the work within two weeks, which was fine given that this wasn't an emergency. For this gas to heat pump conversion, it was necessary to vent both the intake and exhaust. This presents a number of challenges like making vent holes, running ducts, and making sure everything is air tight. Jose and his team were absolutely awesome. They take pride in their work. The team is friendly and patient, and takes the time to break down what they're doing and why, as well as any hiccups and adjustments that have to be made. I cannot tell you how great it is to have a professional you can trust, who also respects you and your property. This was a complex job and they made it look great, fit the space, and work as needed. A plumber isn't something you hope you need very often, but should anything come up, I'll definitely be calling Mauro's Plumbing again.

While a water heater contractor was replacing the valves, I noticed corrosion around an internal seal; they told me I'd have to figure out the parts with Rinnai myself, and their quote for the labor ended up being far too costly. My home's water pressure had also been high for years, which EBMUD confirmed was my responsibility to fix. I had recently been through a layoff, and the financial pressure of maintaining a mortgage while facing multiple expensive repairs was a real concern. High water pressure eventually wears out seals and causes catastrophic damage, so I knew I had to use my emergency fund to find a plumber who would get the job done right. Willy showed up for the quote on time and conducted an efficient, knowledgeable survey of my main riser. His communication style was clear, concise, and confidence-inspiring. He quoted a reasonable price compared to other vendors and was willing to work within my budget. 1 Star - Unacceptable service and zero responsibility…read more I had a very bad experience with Fast Water Heater Company. One of my apartment tenants had an issue with the water heater. It was working poorly, so I contacted the original water heater company, and they referred me to Fast Water Heater Company. Their technician came out, inspected the unit, and said the water heater was bad and needed to be replaced. They installed a "new" water heater and left. Immediately after they left, the tenant realized there was no hot water at all. The water heater was not working. We tried contacting them multiple times with no response. After two full days, I finally spoke to them and was told that the control board of the brand new water heater is bad and that it will take another week to fix. This is completely unacceptable. An apartment cannot legally be left without hot water for a week. When I explained this, they said "sorry, we can't help you." It is very clear that either the technician made a mistake during installation and damaged the control board, or they installed a defective unit. Either way, they refused to take responsibility or provide an immediate solution. Leaving tenants without hot water and walking away from the problem is not professional and not fair. I strongly do not recommend this company. They take your money, replace equipment, and when the job is done incorrectly, they disappear and leave you with the problem

First time homeowner, though not naive to how homes work. Three days after moving in, sewage starts…read morebacking up into shower drains and out into the garage. Sam arrived a few hours the same day after calling. After snaking and jetting the pipes without much success, he then suited up without hesitating and dove into the 12" literal crawlspace to see what's going on. While underneath he took videos showing the age of the original drain pipes, and also how they were originally run incorrectly as one system, without slopes, and undersized. Meaning that decades of things slowly built up in the pipes, and since it is one connected system when one backs up they all back up. We agreed that we should replace all the original drain pipes. Sam and three other members of his crew showed up on time on a Saturday morning. All four of them proceeded to kick every single ass into the next county for six and a half hours. Cutting and removing all the old metal drain pipes, running new correct size PVC pipes, hooking everything up, and adding an external access for cleaning the drains if it ever happens. All while working in a 12" crawlspace. I really didn't need the expense only few days after moving in. Nobody wants to call a plumber, since something is going wrong. Sam's responsiveness and the work done are more fair monetarily. It's worth your time to contact him if you end up you need to.
