It really felt like they understood how important it was to me and treated the job as their own project. Their dedication and care truly made a difference. Summary: Absolutely horrible experience - BEWARE - I urge you to find someone else to do your…read moreproject so you don't end up like us - booked our project, wasted weeks/months of our time getting set up, did DEMO on our living room and then, after destroying our living room, informed us that they do not have the skill to complete the project and refuses to return our deposit and refuses to respond to requests to speak for weeks. We now have a torn up living room and will have one for months while we wait for another company to come in and finish the job - will be seeking all legal remedies. __________________________________ As new home owners, we were excited to complete a few projects. We found Arpan and Louie online. We were looking to have a closet system removed in the living room and to install built-ins. Arpan assured us multiple times that the business was looking to expand into the built-in industry and that they do much larger projects so this would be easy for them. They sold their services as a package deal - from design to execution they would have us covered. We spent a few weeks/months working with their designer (who I will not name because I think she is also an unwitting victim of the Arpan/Louie operation). Once the designs were complete, we went ahead and scheduled a final measurement appointment. Louie (the carpenter) did not attend but Arpan decided to keep the appointment. Within about 10 minutes of being inside Louie noticed that the designs prepared did not actually match the measurements of the closet in at least one place - the closet had an uneven depth that Arpan and the designer failed to measure at our final meeting that they decided to have without Louie (the carpenter). Louie did come up with a solution that we were comfortable with but would result in part of a window being covered - our thoughts were it happens and we would be lucky if this was the only hiccup. Louie then did demo work for 2-3 days. On the LAST day, he disappears for a while and when he comes back mentions that he is trying to figure out from Arpan where the doors for our built-ins are. Later that day he says that Arpan didn't order any doors and they do not have the capability to build doors. We call Arpan and he says they are looking into solutions. A day or two later - Arpan TEXTS to say "Our solutions would take weeks as we wont be able to create the doors...we would return half of your deposit". The deposit was $1500 - you read that right, Arpan wanted $750 for doing partial demo and then abandoning the project because of the negligence of his team. We asked Arpan to discuss on Aug 12 - no response. On Aug 16 - we followed up and he agreed to speak. Arpan told us that he needed to confirm returning the full deposit with Louie. The following week Louie came to collect his tools - which, as decent people, we allowed him to enter our home to take. Louie told us that Arpan was the decision maker on the deposit and its return. We sent messages to Arpan on the 23rd, 24th, 26th, and 29th of August to Arpan without any response. I really try to not write negative reviews because I understand mistakes happen and look to companies to make it right - but I couldn't let this sit. I am now out $1,500 and have to hire someone to come finish the demo work and then someone else to put in built ins - in this environment it will take months. I would be willing to work with Arpan and team if they had realized their errors before doing demo on our house (and tearing out thousands of dollars worth of closet systems etc. - which would have been OK if something was going in to replace it!) but this is inexcusable and the lack of professionalism from Arpan and team is really daunting. Please go with someone who knows what they are doing.

My husband contacted someone for painting services, and I contacted a few others for quotes. The first person to respond to me was Excellence Painting! Gerardo was so fast with email response time, and he was the ONLY company that could come and see the place that same day I called him. We scheduled for him to come to our place at 5PM (to provide an estimate) and he was on time! He came in, was very friendly, and walked around to see what work we were looking to get painted, and left. Later that evening, he was the only one that sent me an email with a quoted estimate. I asked him for an estimate for labor only, and then with paint. He provided both estimates! After reviewing multiple quotes, I decided to go with Excellence Painting because I felt that Gerardo, from the beginning, was very professional, and responded in a timely fashion! I felt I could count on him and his crew! He was also very competitively priced!!! The next day, Gerardo stopped by the place, and helped me finalize paint colors based on what I was looking for. He told me he would start the next day, but had a project in the morning to complete, so he would come in the afternoon. He came later in the afternoon (around 6-ish), and he started the painting. Then he came the next day with his crew, and finished the majority of the place. He finished everything yesterday! The place looks beautiful, as I will add photos of his work. My husband and I are VERY HAPPY!!!! Biggest thing for me - Gerardo was ALWAYS responsive, we primarily spoke through email, but he would respond within 5-10 minutes! He was always very energetic and happy! Whenever he said he would do something, he did it! He was never late, he was very articulate and detailed! I would absolutely 1000% recommend him!!!! I am very lucky to have met a great person such as Gerardo, and we will absolutely be using his company again for future painting needs!

Joshua and his guys clearly take pride in their craft, and it shows. What really stood out was how clean the process was. Their dustless sanding system was a game-changer--I didn't have to worry about a mess in the unit. They also walked me through every step, patiently answering my questions and offering helpful suggestions. I had requested Joshua to also paint my wooden trims and he transformed something so outdated into something so modern, I couldn't believe it was the same unit with the new refinished floors and painted trims! Something about his manner, that they were going to do good prep and use higher quality paint, plus the affordable bid made me want to go with them right away. Intuition is important particularly when youre spending thousands on your house right? I had gotten a few other estimates for a whole house, some that were higher, some much higher and a couple that were lower BUT Aesthetic Aspects Painting was the only outfit that offered me a reasonable price and the customer service that Mike offered. But we persevered, and onto the painting: I had 2 guys here for 4 days and one guy for 2 days tending to every detail on my very old house. They (very nice and accommodating guys) scraped and sanded more than I think they realized was needed, and did not grumble about it, and the cost wasn't changed. Mike even worked with me on allowing a part of the front to be painted before I committed to the wall and trim paints. That was a godsend! The finished product is something I can't find any fault with! Sharp crisp corners, no traces of debris, and a paint job I can hope to count on to last for some time. I know if anything fails, they would be out here asap to correct. I would definitely contact Aesthetic Aspects Painting for any future paint needs. The people I worked with were very kind, each and every one, and went above and beyond. They clearly pride themselves in their work and I felt taken care of each step of the way.
