I've been going back and forth deciding if I should review this company. But I feel that everyone should know how they work. They are also formally known as BRISHION CABINET DESIGN.
Back story: Came home one day to random flood in my kitchen. Turns out water has been leaking in between my walls from the living room, the kitchen and my sons bedroom. Decided to get a couple quote before the insurance came and gutted everything. Jeff, the owner of this company, came and quoted me. We ended up choosing them because of the price. Unfortunately we were not financially prepared to put so much work into the house and the insurance only covered so much.
Let me start off by saying you get what you pay for. The full total of the kitchen cabinets, and flooring for two bedrooms ended up being 12k. There was so many things I hated about working with this company.
1. He had me come in to sign a "contract". It was literally just a sentence he wrote on my invoice and asked me to sign it?
2. He tried charging me more because he forgot how much he quoted me. And then refused to give me the price if I didn't pay cash, which he didn't tell me at first when I asked him what for of payments he took. And then I paid him 11k upfront he refused to give me a receipt, he said the invoice, which was also the contract was now the receipt.
3. The workers. Oh my god the amount of unprofessionalism. The mess the made. Even used the restroom and left dirty toilet paper hanging off the trash. Left plaster on my trees. Broke things. Floor guy left plaster on my new counters. Left my hose running for hours. Broke some of the drywall.Picture for proof)
4. The countertops were not touching the walls. Jeff tried saying that it's my drywall guys fault and that If would've installed the drywall it wouldn't had been issue. (I had originally ask another employee in the showroom if they could do the drywall and he said yeah, but when I asked Jeff shortly after he said no because he only would've done it if he did everything. As in the things my insurance took care of)
5. Jeff told me that he wouldn't fix any small details that I need to hire other people to do that, he is only responsible for the counters and cabinets. Even though it was his workers who caused the issues.
Unfortunately, I still owe them about 1k that I'm trying to workout with my insurance but honesty after all this I don't feel like I should even owe them a dime. I also understand that sometimes things can't be "perfect" but the way he handled it all was beyond belief. Be cautious when working with them. read more
