I called JC Electrical to have some GFCI outlets installed and to basically safety check my older home. Got a call back quickly and was able to get an appointment the same week. I got a text when the technician was on his way, that's always helpful, so I can leave work then, and don't have to just wait at home. Chuck was pleasant and polite, answered all my questions and all my "Oh, can you look at this, too" requests. He replaced a two prong outlet with a GFCI one, and tested all the others in the kitchen & bathrooms for safety. He also inspected the breaker panel, and (from the invoice) isolated double lugged neutrals and secured connections at main panel. I don't write a lot of reviews on Yelp, but the service I received from JC Electrical warranted a shout out. My wife and I just moved into a new house, and had accidentally caused some electrical problems with our dryer socket. I contacted JC Electrical through their website. It took about a day for them to call me, but once they did they took the time to listen to what our problem was, and offered numerous suggestions prior to them (or anyone else) coming out and charging us. We still needed them to come out, and they were able to accommodate the next day. When Jeremy arrived, he was beyond friendly, courteous, and outgoing. He took the time to listen to what had happened, and did not once pass a judging eye, gaze, or tone. He understood the problem immediately, found the source of the problem, and within 15 minutes had completely fixed and tested the problem. To boot, he then took $50 off of the bill as a new customer incentive! The service I received was beyond what I expected. We have a 1978 home. To say the least, the lighting has been in need of updates. We tried a track lighting set in our kitchen, but it was too hot, and not the greatest lighting for food prep or entertaining. We called JC Electric, and talked to Jeremy.
