I trusted Juan and Carlos his son but I was wrong he replaced my electrical panel all was done right but Juan offered me a free attic inspection. A few months later he called me to do the inspection and he coated me $2000 to repair some wiring that was chewed by a rat he send me pictures of the electrical damage and burnt wires that I believe he did according to Avco heating and plumbing. I called Juan back after Avco can to repair a mistake they made and they did a full attic inspection. I told him the rat was nowhere to be found and he said he removed it that day which is a lie because he told me originally he did not wanna touch it and caused any more damage or get electrocuted. I have used the JC Electric on several electrical jobs big and small at my home. From replacing outlets and switches to replacing electrical panels. They are responsive and reliable and reasonably priced. Carlos showed me that a stupid handyman I hired earlier to install a subpanel and extra outlets in the garage had the outlets run on a 220 volt circuit instead of 110 which burned out my garage freezer. BEWARE!!! If I could LEAVE ZERO I would. I found this company online and reviews were good so I decided to try. I contacted a guy named carlos who through email and text seemed friendly. But then it got weird. I asked for a license number and no reply. The next day, They were supposed to show up at11 am and never showed or called. Then I HAD TO REACH out asking what happened. They blamed it on "their system being down " and apologized, gave a license number ( which bythe way doesn't belong to carlos) and rescheduled. Today was the reschedule date. I stayed home from work to get this electrical job done. At 10:10, no one has shown. I text again asking where they are. They responded with "we will be there at 11or 1130. I declined. I am so ridiculously angry that these jerks didnt have any courtesy not one but TWICE!! No real license...wow. I called because the reviews were good ... they can and looked at the job , I told them I needed outlets moved up to above counter , the can lights hooked back up to existing cans, and 3 switches moved to other walls due to remodel kitchen. they later send me a text with a vague estimate that said a bunch of things but not itemized. they showed up on a Monday sr and jr. they worked half a day and tried to tell me they were going to have to cut through my stucco and run a wire outside. I said no cut the drywall and I will have it fixed. they left without picking up anything. left a mess and then when they were supposed to come the next morning , jr texted he had a emergency and they would come the next day. when the came they started telling me that some things were not included in the estimate, again i told them all I needed done. first day. so in think they just wanted to make no money. the third day when they left , I was not able to look before they left I was working. but I was shocked to see that they had put a cup or more of bondo on each of the cut drywall areas. not professional at all. I was there they could have asked. butt did not. so I was lucky it was not dry so i removed it from both areas. I went to turn off my ceiling fan in dinning room ,I realized it was not there nor was the other ceiling light switch in other room. he texted to get paid , and I told him I would pay him when he put both the switches back. He told me they never had switches. i told him they did. He more or less called me a liar. Argued with me. Asked what I wanted him to do about it. I said to put them back. He was so rude(jr). So they came and put them back. Making it hard for my cabinet contractor to get his job done. When he was there he Al's was asked to move one outlet up , tried to charge me 150 more. The cabinet guy told him it was wrong and would not work he didn't care. Then they had to come back again to fix that. It was the worst experience ever. The sr. Hanged me 150 more forabout 10 inches of wire. They are scammers and don't follow through with what they say. they said price was for materials and labor. They used all my switches and never credited me for that. it was a nightmare I don't recommend them at all. feel like they totally took advantage of the fact that I was a women. I called JC Electric because he was referred by a local customer. On AUGUST 15 I left a voice mail message but received no response for 3 days. Juan C, the Owner, finally returned my call on August 18 and said that he was very busy and asked me to send pictures. He then showed up on August 21, unannounced, took more pictures, and said he would see if he could repair my pump or order a new one. He called me on August 24 to say that he had one in stock and would come over that Monday to install it. When he didn't show up I called him but received no answer. I called him again many times and he would occasionally call back saying he would be there the next day but didn't show up. This went on UNTIL NOVEMBER! Then he sent me an invoice claiming he had done a lot more work than he really did, but in fact I had contracted someone else to do the big part of the work. This job was done in Pasadena.They should have provided a dedicated line to the refrigerator according to their own proposal. They charged me for a dedicated line to the refrigerator, but they bundled it up with all of hallway, one whole bedroom, all plugs. The circuit is overloaded and trips and the refrigerator shuts off. They will not answer the calls or emails. The response time 40 minutes that they promise is only if they want to get new business. I recently bought a home and I started having some issues with my A/C. After that, I started having some electrical issues (appliances not working, lights flickering, etc).
