I bought this tin of Cavendish and Harvey Sour Cherry Drops last week. And just like you when I got home I put the tin up and tossed the receipt. When I opened the tin yesterday I found the seal had been punctured. I pulled the seal and the Drops had all melted together as you can see in the pictures. My wife, ever concerned for my well-being, advised me to not eat the candy. So I returned to the store, ready for an exchange or refund. They REFUSED to do either. Oh they had their reasons, number 1 among them was I didn't have my receipt. The store manager could not reach the owner whom I offered to talk to, or I could come back some other time and maybe catch up with the owner. So I won't tell you not to shop there, times are difficult for everyone these days. But I will not shop there again and when I need a lemon drop for a long car ride I'll make do with a bag of them from Walmart or CVS. There just sugar and flavor after all. But I will suggest that you look closely at every purchase you might make from that store and don't toss your receipt until you do. Or maybe they'll treat you better than they treated me. They have a pretty large shop, and it can get crowded depending on when you go in there. They usually have a lot of customers coming in and going. Their prices are a bit steep for my budget, but I'm not sure if that's because of the current state of the economy or if that's normal for them. I stopped by intending to purchase some chocolates for a friend who loves chocolate, but I just couldn't find anything in my budget. If you have the money, though, they are definitely a convenient one-stop shop for your chocolate needs! I can see the appeal and would encourage people to go in and browse. There might be something for you in there.

I had been here once before and ordered my friend a birthday mini fruit tart and myself a cake. I remember wishing the cake was a bit more moist and curious to try other desserts. I'm so happy I returned. This time I ordered the turtle cheesecake slice and a passionfruit tart for myself. I devoured these sweets. They were so yummy. They have more of a takeout situation here, so I ordered my sweets to go and ate them at home. It's pretty tiny shop. I loved the cheesecake the most. The passionfruit tart was fun, although with passionfruit as the base flavor I wish there were more tropical topping and then maybe a plain custard one with the berries. It was still tasty. You walk in and can order small bites, cocktails, or coffee drinks at the camper right in front, then you can peruse their various gift options, and then you get to the dessert counter where you'll see their giant cakes, pies, and other offerings. Or, you can skip right to the dessert options! I have yet to have a bad dessert here, but favorite include their Oreo mocha pie, any version of Oreo cake, cannoli, and their homemade Oreos. Service is always warm and friendly, and there are lots of tables to sit inside or outside in their garden area! A Richmond staple and for good reason!

I was immediately impressed by how flavorful the patty was- you get a crispness upon the first bite and then the creaminess of the beans afterwards. It was absolutely incredible in a way I can't even describe. I also got the Thai iced coffee, which tasted as sweet as a typical Thai iced tea, yet in coffee form.
