He started the business over 40 years ago and had prior rockwall experience in Inglewood California before moving to beautiful Hawaii. William was very sincere and patient in explaining to me the condition of my wall and what needed to be done. He reminded me of my dad who also started his business over 40 years ago in residential construction. Later, I met with owner Sione who I originally spoke with over the phone when scheduling the first consultation. Sione is well-spoken, and as busy as he is -- I appreciate him staying in communication via text or answering my call since other rockwall companies fell short. Sione grew up with many years in the rockwall business and learned from his family. Sione was also willing to work with my budget and I understood the high quality of work I'd receive from All Phase. Quality matters and this wall will outlive me for another 40 plus years!!! This is a family run business and they only hire within their family. I met Sione's brothers Q and Jr, along with Kaffa, Masi and so many awesome uncles and masons! I also received the proposal via email from sister Fine. Thanks so much for your work! I could see that they all work with a lot of Heart, Soul and Pride! They arrived on time, some days early! They are very respectful, helpful, and organized throughout the entire job! Speaking with Parris and getting the initial quote was a quick and easy process. Parris and his guys completed the paperwork we needed for HOA approval without issue, and installation happened quickly after our HOA gave us the go ahead. The installation itself was also completed quickly (2-3 days of work if I recall) and the best part other than the quality of the fence was that the way they install the fence posts leaves your yard looking exactly as it was before--no giant holes or dirt piles left behind. A few months ago, we needed a repair due to our landscapers accidentally shooting a rock through a fence panel. Parris was quick to respond and had his guys out there the next day to complete the repair at a reasonable price. They even noticed our gate wasn't shutting properly and made some adjustments on the spot at no additional cost without us asking. Most recently, we installed some pavers that went under our gate and needed some adjustments to be made to the height of the gate so the gate could close over the pavers. They were not the lowest but my mom had a good vibe with Suli so we went ahead with them. From start to finish she kept raving about how impressed she was with their work ethic and professionalism. They did an excellent job on the wall(s) and, aside from their warm aloha and "care for kupuna", what she appreciated most was how they were very good about clearing out the bricks and cleaning everything up! These guys are reasonable, but you have to be very careful. You have to get everything. And I mean…read moreeverything in writing. If you have a drawing, have them sign off on the drawing that they would do exactly what the drawing says. Confirm what type of Rock you will be getting. and demand it when it arrives on site. Do not let them use blue rock with the promise to stain it. Make sure all the rocks are cleaned prior to installation. Mine had mud and a lot of the rocks fell off because of that. Make sure you call for at least 6 inches of compacted gravel below grade level. Do not let them talk you out of that Get in writing how thick your wall will be. Every single dimension needs to be verified. Confirm pressure washing is with a pressure washer and not just a hole. You'll have to oversee everything to ensure you get good quality. I had to bring out my own levels because things were not level. I suggest using brown stain instead of the black stain that they recommended. Unless you want black grout. ensure they're using the correct mix of sand and concrete. A lot of mine was way too much sand and was very weak. make sure all underground utilities are marked prior to them arriving. And watch to make sure they do not dig into them. The biggest problem on my job was there was no good supervision on site. Oh, and make sure that cleaning up every day is in the contract so there's no tracks in the sidewalk and street. Good luck.
