Amazing tree removal experience. We had to take out a couple of Italian Cyprus trees which were close to affecting the power-lines. One tree was dead, the others were showing signs of age and a large root was growing towards the house. That, coupled with overgrown grass/weeds from recent rains was creating a nightmare scenario. Afraid the trees might topple onto our house we decided the time had come to remove the trees and give the yard a haircut. Out of a couple of estimates we received, Espitia's Tree Service answered my quote request in a timely manner, was able to promptly come by to make an assessment and proposal. The yard service was included as well as stump/removal. Alejandro explained the process, the options and time table. He kept us in the loop and I was quickly informed when timing had shifted a bit because a prior project was taking longer than expected. I had my tangerine and marungay tree trimmed by them and they did an outstanding job, listened carefully to what I wanted done and were able to trim branches on both trees without them littering my neighbors side of the fence. They trimmed several feet off the top of my tangerine tree so I can reach the fruit easier now. They did not massacre my tangerine tree like a previous tree trimmer did years ago and it is already putting out new happy leaves and looks healthy. They also hauled away all the leaves and branches and gave me the marungay leaves as I requested so I could give them to friends and neighbors and their price was reasonable, they came on time and finished in the estimated time they gave me. Alejandro and his team were very professional. I hired them to remove several palms, including grinding, and to cut down a fairly large and overgrown plumeria tree. Communication was smooth leading up to the appointment, and the team was very thorough and efficient in getting the job done. As a bonus, they were also very accommodating to me and my neighbors in trying to minimize the kick up of rocks and dirt while grinding. They went the extra mile and purchased ply wood as a barrier. After extensive research, I took a chance on this family-owned business back in 2023, and was very impressed with their efficiency, respectfulness and affordability. Our avocado tree was due for another "trim" as its branches had outgrown my pole saw, so I reached out to Alejandro for a redux. This time, his father who was visiting from California, accompanied Alejandro and brother Roberto, who does all the trimming to perfection. The tree gave up a lot of branches and leaves, but they left the yard spotless and took the mulch to a farmer in Waimanalo, who will repurpose it. I'm sure there are other highly regarded tree services, but I don't see how it can get much better than Espitia's. I have recommended them to friends, and will call on them again in the future. These guys are the best. I emailed them for a quote and within an hour or so Alejandro called me. He and his brother Robert had just completed a job nearby and swung by to look at the job in person. They stated that they could do the job today. They came back about an hour later and trimmed my trees in no time. Alejandro and Robert worked so fast and cleaned up really well after. If you want a well established, family owned business whose sole intent is to keep up it's fantastic reputation, then I would highly recommend Espitia's Tree Service. We had a very difficult to remove African Tulip ( approximately 40 feet tall and 20 years old), which was at the rear of the subject property. They had to rope cut each branch and then hand carry those branches along with a approximately 5 foot trunk, to the front of the home to properly dispose of the trash. Awesome job and they even performed root grinding which is highly recommended to stop the tree from regrowing. Alejandro and his family are fantastic and kept us informed every step of the way. We needed our 80 foot high Norfolk pine tree with four heads cut down to about 25 feet due to our fear of it blowing down on our house or taking out some power lines. I called and Alejandro answered his phone (a rarity in todays world). He came by to see our tree the next day and after talking to him, I knew he was the one we wanted to hire. Changed the time and day of the service that was suppose to be provided at the time he was suppose to show to do THE service. These guys were really on it. Alejandro came by first and gave me a quote to remove some overgrown shrubs and stumps and stuck to that quote to the end. A four man crew showed up just when they said they would and got right to work. They were thorough, efficient and cleaned all their rubbish up.
