Heard about Jeff being an expert climbing coconut trees, I was fascinated! Being from Tahiti, I had seen native friends climbing coconut trees! when it came time to get rid of my not so good looking Areca palms, I gave Jeff a try! These palms was more challenging as they were between 4 to 6 inches in diameter and straight up. A big difference difference between Tahitian coconut trees and these palms. His (can do everything) attitude and personality on our first meeting gave me confidence. We agreed on a price! On the day of the job, He and his one man crew showed up on time! The other was a 110 year-old Mango tree that grew from the center of our large deck. We have a huge mango tree in the corner of the backyard, probably over 50 years old, 4 ft. in diameter. The block wall on the back side has had small root cracks in it since we moved here 4 years ago and we were concerned about roots causing them to get bigger so we were thinking of having the tree trimmed and roots cut or removing the tree (last choice, we love this tree!). Jeff came out and looked it over and was going to send us a quote, but instead he came back the next day...wanted to take a better look and after a little deeper check, he found roots that had already been cut so he recommended we do a good trim, take pictures and measurements of the cracks and just keep an eye on it for the next several years. Good recommendation! He came out yesterday with his crew and did an awesome job of trimming the tree. Got rid of the overhang in the neighbors yards that they didnt like, shaped, thinned and trimmed the tree nicely and kept enough in the right places to keep our privacy from the two story house behind us. They were very thorough with a good clean up job. Jeff is a very knowledgeable, pleasant, likable guy, as were his crew. Pricing was better than other quotes we got also. They also dont use a big chipper to grind up everything, instead they just haul away everything so there was no excessive noise for us and the neighbors to put up with for hours. A big, big plus.
