A former Yelper has come out of retirement yet again to write a review for this awesome business. Our backyard area was in bad shape, heck, it has become our outdoor forest that our dog had to trek through in order to do his business amongst the brush and weeds that grew everywhere. My husband and I were not good with maintaining it and had let it go (lesson learned, we will be working hard to maintain it). We needed help ASAP. Every time I was in the kitchen I would look outside and see the mess (and get grumpy because of it). I requested quotes after creating a project on Yelp and Treescape was the fastest to respond and set a day to get a quote. Shane came and was very straight forward. I asked him for all the different things we wanted to do, including possible others that we wanted to do if the budget allowed for it. He was patient with all my questions and broke down the payment options. The cost of our project was realistic and so, lo and behold, after a 50% deposit, he was at our place two days later to start on the project. They plugged with some grass, they grinded old tree stumps, they made our rock walls visible again amongst the many things they did here. Him and his crew worked hard to make sure they completed the project within the 2-3 days he had shared in our first meeting. They cleaned up the area and made sure to leave the finished area in pristine condition. On a side note, my 4 year old daughter ended up drawing something for them and taping in onto our kitchen window for them to hopefully see when my husband and daughter got home. When I got home a bit later, my daughter and I went outside to tell Shane thank you for all the hard work they have done, one of the workers, a younger woman, came and gave my daughter a little hand drawn picture of a butterfly and wrote a little note thanking us for having them over to help with our backyard. It's those little things that make me feel that Shane and his people truly put care and hard work into their jobs. We contacted several companies with pictures of trees that needed serious trimming. Shane was the only one who actually came out-the others emailed their estimates. Had an annoying tree in the garage alley (Ocean Pointe area) that had grown beyond my ability and ladder height to deal with and the HOA needed all trees trimmed back before some surface work. I requested an estimate for artificial turf installation since I've read that it is very low maintenance and great for dogs. Shane and his team did great work removing, hauling, and grinding down stumps for about 15 trees in our backyard (banana, coconut, citrus, papaya, palms, cacao, something huge and scary with thorns, mango, avocado, etc). When we did a walkthrough afterwards, I couldn't even tell where the trees used to be and they didn't leave any dirt or sawdust in the walkways or driveway. Shane and his crew were doing major tree trimming on my neighbors property, and I asked him if he could trim a large mango of mine. This beast does not produce great fruit and is seriously overgrown. It was also a very challenging slope, some branches overhung a different neighbor, and I had some trees and plants beneath it I wanted not damaged if at all possible. Shane scheduled immediately, and the price was quite fair. It took them slightly longer than estimated but they finished in two days and their cleanup was pretty good. If you are expecting white glove service, this is not who is for you. But if you want tree trimming where are you don't need an arborist at a reasonable price they are excellent. read more

overpriced, poor quality. They did do a good job removing loulu palm, however they did not level the ground before installing cheap sod. Within a week the sod was overrun with nut grass. I had assumed prepare the ground for sod installation meant the ground would be leveled and something would be done to stop the nut grass from coming back. I was wrong. I'm still kicking myself for not getting an itemized proposal and checking with the BBB. I would not have paid them $8000 for the job they did. Expensive lesson on my part! read more
