Cris was very responsive and immediately came out to look at my leak in my sprinkler. He spent extra time with me to isolate the leak to avoid extra costs and labor. I also appreciate he tried to clean the valve before finally suggesting a full replacement. He got the job done and with a great attitude. read more

High quality service and trustworthy! It was time to do an overhaul of the yard and remove piles of green waste around the property. Cris and Jane offered a reasonable price for the job and their team finished the job in 6 hours. All of the hedges are trimmed down small and manageable, all green waste and branches removed, all weeds and weed trees gone, all working areas were left clean and neat. The team works hard with proper safety gear. Best of all, Cris and his team are friendly and easy to talk to. We are planning future home projects with this company. I highly recommend and trust this service. read more

Our front yard has been a wet mess for a while now and Chris and Jane were able to easily identify the issue. Jane was extremely helpful on the phone and made scheduling a free inspection simple and easy. Cris stopped by to check our irrigation system and quickly determined that it was our neighbor's water that was leaking, not ours. If we ever actually need work on our system I'll be sure to give them a call! read more

My husband and I finally decided it was time to hire professionals to maintain our yard since out busy schedules didn't allow us to give it the TLC it needed. I called the number on their website, Cris picked up and was able to do a site visit on the same day. He is very friendly and responsive. He gave me a verbal quote, then followed up with email proposals. As soon as I signed paperwork I was scheduled immediately the next day. The messy yard was such a stress. The crew came in and cleaned it up in less than 2 hours. The amount of work they did would have taken my husband and I days. And it would not have looked nearly as clean. The photos are just from 1 visit, but I look forward to my continued business with Cris as we work to slowly improving the landscape. read more

I had just a small sprinkler head repair. But I was in a hurry and needed to have my sprinklers working before I left town. I called a couple of companies but one forgot to show at the appointment time and another quoted a base rate of $130 just to come out plus they were no openings for a week! CJ Landscape and Yard Maintenance came out in 30 minutes! It took him less than 15 minutes to fix the problem and his cost was so affordable! I love that both C and J came out. Cute couple! Coming out so soon and doing the job so quickly was a lifesaver! They are so honest and hard-working. You don't find that often enough. I wish I had a bigger job for them. I will definitely recommend them to everyone! read more

We needed a repair for our sprinkler system. Cris was very prompt, easily diagnosed the issue, and fixed it. We are satisfied with our service and if we need any other repairs or yard maintenance, we would not hesitate to contact him again. read more

Chris and Jane run a very professional full service landscaping and yard maintenance service. We have been looking for a company that would evolve with our landscaping needs and we have finally found them! We have been searching for a company like theirs for over a year. Great work. On time. I hired CJ Landscape a few months ago for ongoing yard maintenance and couldn't be happier. Cris & Jane are reliable, efficient, professional, and very friendly. I've asked them for a few additional requests and they've taken care of them with no questions asked. For what it's worth, I reached out to several other yard maintenance companies for quotes a few months back and they all came back with outrageous pricing. And many of them were either unlicensed or one man operations. Then I found Cris & Jane and their operation is top notch. Pricing is very reasonable and they provide exceptional service. I've read some other negative reviews and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. However, I have nothing but excellent things to say about this company. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for yard maintenance. read more

quick responds and estimate in a reasonable price , Will call them again in the future.

Had 2 fan palm trees which needed removal. I sent out multiple requests to various companies with the Yelp Request function. CJ Landscaping was the first to respond so we appreciated that. Then Chris and Jane arrived the same day to look at the trees and got an estimate. To be honest, he wasn't the cheapest....there was one cheaper estimate but it was alarmingly low to be considered legitimate. So without further ado, we scheduled the job, signed the appropriate paperwork. We had constant communication throughout the process. Chris and the tree climber arrived on time and got right to it. In about an hour 2 trees (appprox 20ft each) were cut down, all debris loaded in their truck, and area cleaned. They also put stump killing poison for free. You can pay with Venmo too but we had cash We're super stoked with the entire process from start to end. Highly recommend for your Landscaping needs. read more

I hired CJ Landscape and Yard Maintenance to cut our lawn and bushes monthly. They do a great job, especially when cleaning up! Recently we decided to redo our front yard. We wanted to get rid of the old rock garden my grandparents installed more than 50 years ago. This required the removal of a large area of weeds and big rocks; to be replaced with new soil and sod. After discussing what I wanted with the owner, Chris, he helped me decide on replacing the rock garden with sod and instead of ripping out the older grass, suggested a plan to remove the weeds from a grassy area using natural spray instead of paying extra to rip out the old grass and weeds and replace with new grass. The final product looks amazing and I cannot wait for the sod to root! I highly recommend CJ Landscape and Yard Maintenance! They are professional, hard working, and even followed up the day they finished to ensure I was happy with the final results. Mahalo to everyone at CJ Landscape and Yard Maintenance!! read more

Cris is very friendly and knowledgeable. His quote was very competitive, showed up promptly and was very personal able. He said that they would be finished in an hour. Other companies estimated half a day. His crew took down my large avacado tree (3 trunks and 30ft high) in an hour.... An HOUR! Talk about fast.. these guys crank.. Thank you for doing our neighbors yard and blowing all the clippings and rocks to our property and on to my black car in my own driveway. I hope you pay to fix the paint job I recently had. The previous yard men NEVER blew their rubbish to other properties. Have you ever heard of raking? If you're a consumer looking for yard service consider this: How does the company dispose of the yard clippings? This is a question we'd probably never think of. You might have a cut lawn, but pissed of neighbors who have to clean up your clippings. If you're the business owner: Did you know your employees litter other properties? What kind of training or changes can you implement to do things better? Why do the neighbors of your clients have to leave you bad reviews? read more

CJ was very responsive in giving me a quote to remove two trees in my back yard and trim one palm. These trees were huge date palms and starting to leave towards my house. I have had a really bad experience with this company. First, they never completed work which I paid for. Second, I had set up a monthly maintenance schedule back in May with them which they never adhered to (I think they did it twice). At first they would at least respond and tell me they would get back to me. Then they would call last minute to tell me they would be there the next day, then no one would show up. Now they just don't respond. I asked them several times if they were even interested in doing the work, they kept telling me they would get back to me to schedule. I just don't think they are organized. read more

Okay, so I got a few bids and Chris was not the cheapest but seamed more professional and responsible so I took a shot with him. They showed up on time with there trucks and equipment and got right to work. they did the job he said they would do, other contractors said it could not be done, but Chris was very confident he could do it and did not second guess himself (that's what I liked) I feel he gave me a fair price and fulfilled his contract. I will call him back for an estimate to do some landscaping. I'm very confident and hoping we can work something out. He and his wife very nice people. Thanks Chris...see you soon read more

These guys came to our neighbors house and we watched them blow all the leaves and yard debris right into our yard and all over the street. After weedwacking rocks all over the place. And then get in their truck and take off. Totally unprofessional and pilau. :( read more

I just want to thank Cris and his crew for doing an awesome job with our overgrown yard. We had two large mango trees that needed to be topped off and trimmed, two dried up 40ft Cypress pines that needed removal since they were a safety hazard, numerous palm trees that need trimming, one 30 ft papaya tree that had to go and finally several snow queen hibiscus that needed to be lowered down to 6ft and trimmed. That may not seem like much but trust me, it's a lot especially since they were overgrown. Additionally, our yard is a bit cramped in space and some of these trees are hard to access without potentially causing damage to our house or worse, the neighbors' houses. Not only did CJ Landscaping do a good job, they did it efficiently, quickly and safely. These guys definitely know what they're doing. They came on time, got right to work and didn't stop until the work was done. They even removed/hauled away two dead tree stumps laying in our yard at no extra charge. When they were done, they left the yard as well as surrounding areas and street clean. And no, I didn't see them blow debris in neighbors' yards unlike what a couple of reviewers said. Honestly CJ Landscaping was not the cheapest quote we got but we hired them based on their methods and safety precautions they take. In this case, we got what we paid for and then some. read more

He will be at my house at 1 PM and he still has not showed up nor a simple phone call. Yet he was so anxious to get my address.

This family owned business does not care if you are unhappy with service nor do they disclose details of cost of service. I paid 6 months in advance ($500 venmo) for them for weed control, grass blowing) they did not haul the weeds away and the weeds were not controlled. I do not reside on the property (which they were aware) so the green bin was completely full and was so heavy that trash did not take it. I would have been ok if they let me know they were using the bins so that i could have my neighbor place it outside for trash day. When I sent them an email, Chris the owner replied, its ok you are unhappy. I have attached the email and the contract so that other customers are aware how this business handles client service and how they conduct business. I am in the industry of this and businesses are able to move forward through this pandemic by communicating and resolution. I will never use them again. The "im ok with you being unhappy" comment is unacceptable and completely rude considering I paid them via venmo in FULL. read more

Shopped around for someone to do a thorough clean-up of our overgrown in-law's yard. Chris met us to do a walk through assessment and quote. Sent us his estimate in writing and asked us to sign a contract. I was a bit surprised to get a contract however it allowed us to make sure what we wanted was in writing. On the day of the job, we went to the property to observe the work. They did a good job of trimming and removing the trees and foilage. One disappointment was they did not cut a tree stump to the ground. It was left about 2 feet high. They explained their chain saw was not equipped to handle a big trunk like that. I may have to hire someone else to remove it. If you're looking for someone to do a yard cleanup quickly, they are worth getting a quote from. read more

Unreliable and unprofessional! I contacted this company and scheduled the appointment with Jane. The next day, Chris was late for half an hour but acted like nothing happened. After he looked around to my yard and told me he will email me the proposal later and will call as well. I've been waiting for the whole week and called and left multiple messages but they never responded to me back. This is weird. I cannot figure out what is going on with this company and behavior. If they don't want to take this job, they can always tell me directly. It is such wasting my time! read more

C J Landscape response was very fast and their quote was very competent and agreeable. Cris came quickly to my house to look at my upper sprinkler valves (on a hill) that were leaking. There was a 4 set valve group in the sprinkler ground box. We decided to change all 4 valves. I also had a water leak at one of my sprinkler pipes below ground. He did such a great job that I made him come back and do my ground (lower) level, 4 valve sprinkler group. He and his wife are friendly and very professional. Cris did great job on my sprinkler system valves replacement and fixing my below-ground pipe water leak. He even helps me install a new sprinkler ground box that I purchased. P.S. He also does some plumbing work. read more

On my first meeting with CJ Landscaping, he seemed cordial and professional at first. He looked carefully at the amount of work to be done in the property and he later said that he'll be back with an estimate in following days. I later called him again, on his voicemail and left several messages, to no avail no response till this day. Beware of this contractor if you plan to dish out some of your valuable time and money your better off taking your business somewhere else. CJ Landscaping said they gave me a proposal? Is it in my email? If you want to go by the books send the email you've sent in the past, because I got nothing not even a call back from CJ Landscaping. I think you have mistaken me from someone else. I wouldn't complain or write a review if you responded to me, not after the fact. read more
