Awa went systematically through the 6 zones and was very thorough and due to not having used my sprinkler system for over a year due to electrical outlet malfunction (recently fixed), the grass grew over some of the heads (4-5). Instead of rushing and brushing off trying to look for them he did his due diligence and searched patiently for them and dug them up. I wasn't expecting a fix on the first initial visit and was pleasantly surprised. The fee for fixing one of the sprinkler heads was reasonable and tipped him for his awesome job amd expertise. I hired Toby to perform maintenance and upgrade my backyard irrigation system with new spiral…read moresprinkler heads. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend his services based on the quality of the work and the subsequent troubleshooting advice provided. If you are considering hiring him, here are the factual issues I have experienced since the installation: Defective Zones: Immediately following his maintenance visit, the sprinklers in Zone #2 stopped popping up entirely. As my videos and photos show, the heads just sit at ground level and sputter water directly into the dirt and rocks, forcing me to manually water the area. Inconsistent Coverage: The new spiral heads fail to provide even water distribution. Despite regular watering schedules, the yard now has several clearly visible brown, under-watered spots right next to perfectly green, healthy grass. Poor Professional Advice: When I reached out regarding the dry spots, Toby's recommendation was to drastically increase the watering time to 24-30 minutes per zone.

Ray was timely in responding to my request and provided me with a quote within hours of my request…read more Ray and his man showed up when he said they would and did a good job. My yard looked exactly as I hoped it would after they completed it. They cut my grass, swept up all the leaves from my trees, as well as the grass cuttings and disposed of it for me properly. The price I was given for this work was competitive and reasonable. They completed the work in less than an hour, which I was very impressed by because it was still quality work.

I've come out of Yelp retirement once again, but instead of being for food, it's for this service!…read more I contacted Ray a couple of weeks ago because our yard and side of the house was getting gnarly and after a few failed attempts to convince my busy husband to do the yard work himself I finally called the big guns. (But side note, to be fair, my husband did at least attempt and cut down half of the overgrown yard but our weed whacker died on us-- believe me when I say, our yard was in bad shape). So, Ray was one of the first people to reach back out to me when I set up a project through Yelp. We had finally set a time for him to come over for a quote but then my husband said he would do it, so I had to back out on Ray. Through it all, Ray was so kind and understanding. Perhaps looking outside at the half gnarly yard and our broken weed whacker after a week along with a list of other things my husband was tasked with, he finally told me, "Let's do it after all." So, I contacted Ray, he came by for a quote which was pretty reasonable and even offered to do a monthly maintenance for a reasonable price. Today our yard is actually looking like a nice yard! It's so clear that it's honestly weird to look at, but we already got compliments from the neighbor (they probably were getting tired of seeing our yard looking a mess this entire time). Better yet, with Ray's help with a monthly maintenance it will continue to look good! Ray is kind, patient and thorough with his job. He is super fast and responsive. Also a pretty nice guy to do business with. So much so that we will continue to have him help us!

Patrick's communication and follow-through were very poor from start to finish…read more We had an appointment for an in-person estimate scheduled for April 23rd at 10:00 AM. This appointment was scheduled weeks in advance. At 9:30 AM, I messaged Patrick to confirm that we were still meeting up. At 9:45 AM, he replied and stated that he was in Manoa (I live in Mililani). He went on to say that "he would try to stop by later that afternoon." At 5:00 PM, I had not heard from him, so I messaged him to ask if he was still planning to stop by. He told me that his truck had broken down. My response was "No problem," and I informed him that I was going to move on and find another contractor. He apologized and said that he would be in the Mililani area on the 25th (Saturday), so I gave him another chance. He came out, assessed the drainage issue, and later texted me his assessment. I responded with a few follow-up questions and asked him to send over the estimate, but I received no reply. On Monday the 27th, I messaged Patrick (again), repeated my questions, and asked if he could send over the estimate (again). He asked for my email address, which I sent right away, but I did not receive anything. The following morning, I followed up (last time) asking for the estimate, and once again, I did not receive a response. After I posted my review, Patrick emailed me and claimed that he had sent the estimate via email. I checked my inbox repeatedly and never received it. The only email I ever received from him came only after I left the review. He offered me a discount if I took my Yelp review down. That made me even less comfortable with the overall experience. I would have much preferred clear communication, timely follow-through, and the estimate I had been asking for. Overall, the issue was not just one missed appointment or one missed message. It was repeated poor communication, lack of professionalism, and no follow-through. This is not a company I would recommend.
