JB Movers helped with my move from LA to NYC last year. Jacob was responsive and fair with pricing. He kept me updated throughout the process and made the move a lot less stressful. There was damage to some items during the move, but Jacob handled the issue in a very professional manner. I would definitely recommend. read more

Way to high priced and communication is off on the pricing, the price goes higher at the end

It's our third time moving and we have used JB all three times, reliable and honest movers, thank you Jacob and team!

I've used JB Movers for all my moves in the past decade.... always on time on budget and excellent service. Wouldn't move without them.

I just finished moving my 3-bedroom / 3-bathroom house with JB and his team. Absolutely thrilled with the service, JB is incredibly responsive and flexible, he is extremely knowledgeable and was very considerate of my time and budget and managed to work around my schedule which was tight and came with very short notice. He sent a team of 4 very nice and extremely accommodating men to do my move, they were so careful with all my belongings, wrapped every item with paper and plastic to avoid damage and completed my job so quickly and efficiently. Great value and great attitude, I will only ever move with JB in the future. What a wonderful experience during an extremely stressful time. 10 out of 10!! read more

My experience with JB movers was phenomenal!!! Jacob was so kind and friendly, he was quick to schedule me and get things going. His movers, Ricky & Santos, were IMPRESSIVE!! I had a ton of stuff, and they not only moved everything for me faster than lightening, but every piece of furniture was carefully wrapped and plastic protected. I've never had such an easy and enjoyable moving process until today. Thank you JB! Bless you guys! read more

Hard and fast working strong crew. I had an abundance of boxes and other items ready to be loaded. Add to that furniture, items to be put into large boxes, glass for furniture, artwork and more. Wrapped what needed in plastic wrap, well loaded in a large truck, got to the new house quickly and unloaded even upstairs for no additional fees. I like that they are a clear hourly rate with no extras like I received on quotes from other movers. I write few reviews. These guys get a 10. read more

JB Movers were responsive and reliable. They got everything done quickly and safely, without any damage to my furniture (which was a pleasant surprise, based on past experiences I've had with other movers). read more

It's tough proving 5 star service, but I assure you, I received it from JB. Jacob was great at telephoning to confirm twice. He sent out a great team of really friendly, curteous guys who actually arrived and began working early. These guys get my deep thanks, and absolutely are recommended by me. read more

Very pleased! Arrived on time, no slacking off, worked fast. I have pretty high expectations for movers & if I was happy, I think everyone would be. They were so easy to work with. I would hire them on my next move read more

JB movers did a fabulous job on moving my beds and boxes and even wrapping the beds and furniture very nicely. They were outstanding in scheduling me on such short notice. Not to mention working the day before a holiday. the workers were very diligent in wearing their masks at all times despite the likely inconvenience in sweating while wearing a mask. The movers worked methodically and with patience. Mendel Meyers read more

Matt Romero Mario Fantastic job, would highly recommend JB's movers! Their foreman Matt and two colleagues Romero and Mario worked very hard for more than 8.5 hours with only a few brief breaks. They were very friendly and easy to deal with, and took great care of our stuff. They even carefully arranged everything in our storage unit so it all fit perfectly. Jacob himself was very professional and nice, and did a great job for one of my family members on two prior occasions. read more

My builder, Michael Campbell suggested I use Jacob and his team to move my entire house out while we refinished all of my floors in my house. I had no idea that I had to move everything and left quite a bit of personal items in the house. Jacobs crew arrived on time with smiles and moved not only the furniture but packed up clothing, personal items etc into boxes and stored everything organized. Then they came back to move everything back perfectly. I really appreciated the hard work and the cost of it all was very reasonable. 2 thumbs up. read more

I hired them in December to move two rooms of an a whole house yes that was lots of stuff fitting into a 10 x 15' storage locker... in the process they broke a glass top to table denied doing it and told me they put it in a box in the storage locker at the farmers market storage. Upon investigation it was not there they also did a horrible job packing breaking irreplaceable antique glasses . Jacob reached out after leaving a bad review and he said I'll move you to your next locker for free just change the review unfortunately at the new locker his ""professional"?? people rammed a door frame with my bins knocking the contents to the floor scratching irreplaceable DVDs which were recording's of people who are now deceased then he had the temerity to call me up and call me evil do not hire this company you will be sorry if you value your possessions. read more

We moved a couple days ago with these guys and it was the easiest move I've ever had. Scheduling with Jacob was simple, they arrived on time with four movers and moved our two bedroom apartment and unloaded it at the new place in 5 hours. Our last move with a different company took 9 hours including many breaks where they seemed to disappear. Not these guys, they worked hard and got it done right. They took great care of our belongings, disassembled, reassembled and placed a few big pieces, and were actually a pleasure to work with. Jacob showed up at the new apartment to supervise and handle payment. He really seems to care about quality of their work, which is unusual in this business. They charged a little higher per hour than some competitors, but I would book with them again given the positive experience. read more

Can't recommend JB movers enough! They did a great job packing and moving our belongings on a very short notice. A friendly, responsive and hardworking team that I will definitely use again in the future. read more

Jacob was great. He is very knowledgeable and provided us with great service. He helped us move our three bedroom house to a 3 story and all went smoothly. Hi workers took care to make sure nothing was damaged during the move. read more

These guys were amazing!! They packed up my house in one day and came back the next day to move us out and into our new place. They all had pleasant attitudes and treated all of our belongings with care and intelligent strategy. I got a no over estimate before the project and even though it took longer than expected, I did pay a penny more (excluding tip) than the no over estimate. I really appreciated that option, since it gave me a clear idea of how much the job will cost. Hire them with confidence, it made moving to a new place so much less stressful! read more

I don't know what happened. I used this company 5 years ago and they provided outstanding service for an incredibly competitive price. I booked them again for a move today and the crew was disrespectful, rude, and completely insensitive to residents of two apartment buildings. As a single mother, I did not feel safe working with people who angered quickly and treated strangers with such disregard. I called Jacob to attempt to get some assistance, and instead of apologizing or trying to resolve the situation, he said, You should call someone else. I am shaking with fear from dealing with these people, and now on top of it, I have to find another mover on the day of my move. Again, they provided great service in the past, but now I don't recommend. read more

They were prompt with making my appointment and showed up when they said they would. The owner was very honest and forthright. The people who moved my things were also very nice. One of them even remembered me from the the year prior when we'd moved my mom's belongings to the storage facility. read more

We want to thank JB Movers for the truly outstanding service they provided when we recently moved our aging parents. Without their professionalism, hard work, and flexibility it would not have happened with such ease. The move involved a considerable amount of packing and moving to two different locations. It was complicated by the fact that I was in from out of town for a limited period of time and my sister works full time. Enrique and Ramiro started the ball rolling with an amazing packing job. They were courteous, respectful, and diligent. Two days later, Austin and David executed the move and delivered my parents things to both a storage facility and their new home. Again, they were just great in every way, and everything got where it was going in perfect shape. On both days, the guys from JB had great attitudes and were a pleasure to work with. We were working under some tight time constraints on both days, and the JB guys got everything done ahead of schedule. What could have been a stressful and difficult operation, was a breeze. We highly recommend JB Movers, and want to thank Enrique, Ramiro, Austin, and David, again, for being such a great help to our family. read more

I have moved houses several times in the past years. Sadly, I've had more bad than good experiences. However, JB moving did an amazing work, they arrived on time, led by the charming and talented David, were fully professional and made sure that all of our stuff were safely secured. Another thing I never saw before was that I felt they really cared about the job, and wanted to make sure they do it right - focusing on saving time (my time, as I was paying by the hour), while doing a great job. Along the day, there were some tough jobs, a bed that was difficult to assemble, or some heavy stuff to move around - they did everything with a smile - never complaining. Thank you so much JB moving - we will certainly go back to you if we need another move (and tell all our friends). read more

I met Jacob @ my old address to get an estimate for the move. He gave me an estimate @ a very good price. The movers came on time on moving day. They were professional, friendly, and didn't miss a beat. They went above and beyond to get an oversized couch into the apt. Cruz, Jose , and Luis good job. Thank you JB Movers read more

These guys are GREAT, they have moved me twice and both times, everything went very smoothly. They are punctual and polite and work very hard. I moved from Hollywood to Beverly Hills and the people I'm renting from in BH recommended JB. I gave him a call and told him that I had already received a pack and move estimate from another company and he asked if I could provide a copy, which I did. Jacob was honest, reliable and very polite. His phone estimate for my move was 6-8 hours and he completed my move in 7.5 hours - right on target. Thank you Jacob! read more

This J.B. guy is such a jerk that I couldn't even talk to him long enough to get a freaking quote. He talks over you and interrupts and doesn't listen. Good customer service starts with LISTENING! From my experience if someone is this hard to deal with on the phone then my goodness, they will drive me insane the day of the move, especially if something unfortunate were to happen. Life is too short and there are way too many other movers to have to deal with an A-hole with an attitude :-( read more
