such an amazing experience working with Jenny!! My dress was the perfect fit on my wedding day and the bustle was secure and blended perfectly with my dress. She basically ruined my wedding dress. Made it too short. Had a thread pulled that was not there before we dropped it off. Maybe it was her big dogs at home. Edit*: I'm writing my review now because you didn't have a yelp page back then. 5 years later or 15 years later, one has a right to share their experience with your services read more

I had Jenny alter my wedding dress for me for my wedding on 10/25 and she did such an amazing job! I received my dress at the end of August and she was able to hem my dress, add cups to the bust, and add a bustle to my dress in a month! She was so kind and efficient with her work and she made sure I understood everything she was doing and even had me video how to bustle my dress so I could show my Maids of Honor on the day. Jenny answered all of my questions and was able to communicate well with me if I had any questions. I would absolutely recommend her for any alterations you may need! read more

I truly can't express how much I appreciated Jenny's time and talents. She altered my wedding dress beautifully, but what was truly special to me is that when I decided last minute to use my mother's reception dress, she squeezed me into her incredibly busy schedule and tailored the dress for me. This was a challenge too, because the top had an intricate beading on it, but it turned out beautifully. Thank you Jenny for everything! read more

If you are looking for a seamstress, look no further. I have been to Jenny twice now and she has been wonderful both times. Jenny works from her home which is nice so you don't have to go and be prodded by a seamstress with others seeing- the privacy is nice for me. Jenny is very sweet and helpful. She has made me feel comfortable both times I have been. Jenny has worked on two dresses for me and fixed several sweaters that were snagged. Jenny's prices are standard for the market. In addition, her turnover time is great and she always gets you what you need when you need it. She is accommodating to your schedule and works a little later to support folks who work traditional business hours. Jenny is now my go-to seamstress when I need anything! read more

She did such a great job with my wedding dress! And it was not too pricey like some of these corporate places around Nashville. Would highly recommend. Such a sweet lady too. read more

Absolutely amazing! One of the few tailors who would actually give me a quote based on a picture I sent and didn't tell me to make an appointment to get a quote. Not only that, but she honored that quote! I had mt dress hemmed, taken in on the sides, and some of the lining underneath was sticking out, so she fixed that as well. My dress was beautiful and for exactly how I wanted. Highly recommend!! read more

JB Custom was so understanding of my tight turnaround. The customer service was amazing! Reasonable pricing as well.

I did not have a good experience with Jenny. For instance, she charged too much. I accepted that though because it was my wedding dress. But after my first fitting, I noticed that she made my dress way too short. And she asked me if I had changed the heels that I was wearing, when in fact I had left the heels there with her. So no, I did not. Then at my third fitting I noticed some thread out of my dress; I'm not sure if it was her tools that did that or maybe her dog. She had huge big dogs at her house that I think were around her work. And when I asked her about the thread she said, and I quote "why didn't you mention that last time?" So yea, very unprofessional and kind of talks in a condescending way. She did end up fixing the length, and ironed the thread down to hide in my dress, but I did not like how she spoke and did not like my experience. read more

Oh Jenny is it. She's incredible. I found her on Yelp after having moved to Nashville from the state where I bought my wedding dress and had no one in Nashville to recommend someone to do alterations. Well, let me tell you... that was the most providential Yelp find ever. Don't take my word for how fabulous her alterations were, just ask the place where I bought my dress in NC! They made a point to ask who did the alterations (specifically the bustle) because Jenny did such a great job! Additionally, she's just a cool and laid back lady. Nashville is fortunate to have her talents. read more

Jenny was so kind. She tailored and hemmed a bridesmaids dress for me. It was a complicated piece with many layers & she had to adjust the straps as well as take in the sides of the dress. She hemmed the 4 layers beautifully & the dress fit me perfectly when she was finished!! It only took her one week to get it back to me, which was great because I was in a hurry for the wedding! She is flexible & great at communicating. A little pricey but her work is amazing. read more

Jenny did an amazing job on my bridesmaids dress. First off, her pricing was very reasonable. She gave me a quote far more affordable than the several other places I called and she stayed true to the price. There was no upmarking the price after she completed the work. Payment was super convenient bc she took all methods of payment including venmo. And lastly she did a fantastic job. It fit just right and having the dress taken in didnt change the shape at all. I would definitely use her again! read more

Jenny is not only incredibly talented, but an absolute delight to work with. I needed my wedding dress altered and found Jenny on Yelp. I took a chance not knowing very much about her work, but trusted her raving reviews. I am so thankful I did. My wedding dress was lace with a complicated pattern, I was honestly a little worried that alterations would be able to be done at all. Jenny saw my dress and didn't flinch. She handled alterations beautifully. You wouldn't have any idea anything was done to the dress at all. She is a little bit of a drive from me, but I won't take my alteration needs any where else. Jenny is the best and deserves all the business she can handle! Thank you again, Jenny! read more

I have used Jenny to alter my clothing for about 20 years. I was so proud & happy to see her start her own business. She was always the one I wanted to alter my clothes when she worked for someone else. She does an absolutely amazing amazing job! She can alter anything from regular clothing to leather jackets. She has made many items 1 to 2 sizes smaller for me. I like them even better after she alters them. You will not find anybody better. I have given Genny items in my head and she has made them from scratch without a pattern. That is what she is trained for. That is her specialty. She can do that with a wedding dress too. Her attitude is always positive. She is always smiling and enjoying with what she does. I drive 45 minutes to see her. And it is well worth it! read more
