It was my Dream Dress! When I got it and put them on both didn't fit, while one was close. I used to be extremely overweight so I've never owned something this beautiful. My heart dropped when it wouldnt zip up. I blindfolded my Fiancé so he could help me zip it up since all my friends dont live in TN. That Night I called 4 "commercial" bridal shops. Every single one said there was nothing they could do since my Wedding was a mere 32 days away. I felt all hope was lost. The next day I gave Only One Tailoring a call-HOPING they could help. I told them my dress was VERY close to fitting. They were gracious enough to get me in the next day, less than 24 hours from my phone call. Im not going to lie. I had no hope. Im on a strict budget and I know altering the dress would be twice what I paid for my gown. As soon as I walked in, the ladies were sooo inviting and welcoming. I was put in a room to try my dress on and walk out so my dress could be inspected. As soon as I walked our, my Tailor said, "Oh great you got the Zipper up!" I was like..No I wish lol. She advised me the dress is super close to closing and it just needed a second hand and womena touch. She grabbed an associate and 1,2,3 it was zipped up. I almost CRIED! I still couldn't breathe lol. But a simple couple pounds will be fine. She asked if I wanted any additional alterations. I am a big chested girl and the cups were big. She immediately tightened my straps and hellllo boobs..she was beautiful. I did ask how much it would be to get the front hemmed a little and it was out of my range. But some heels will fix that! I DID ask how much to open up the dress a little and rush service. It was over my budget since my dress wasnt that expensive. She told me a simple claw hook and an extra set of hands would work. She quoted me $14 and I said let's do it! I told her I can pick it up whenever since I had to head to work. She informed me she was going to do it right then and there, to sit tight and it would be 15 minutes. It was less than 15 minutes and POOF my Wedding Dress nightmare was fixed! I left a fat tip and thanked her so much. I didnt have a chance to try on a wedding dress, with a whole crew, and see it in a big mirror. I CRIED. I loved my dress even more. I will NOT stop PRAISING Only One Tailoring! They saved the day for this Bride! I hardly write reviews but if I could give 10 stars I would! The changing rooms have nice mirrors, but the curtains don't close particularly well. This doesn't bother me, I am not particularly shy. I bought the dress on sale for $15, it is a mini dress made of a cotton blend (maybe?) and a lining. It was all tailored perfectly for me for $43! That's a great deal in my book! Suki and her dog, who remains securely behind a little pet gate, were lovely and very polite. Upon picking up, I asked if I could take the hanger my dress was on, and lamented how I need to purchase more hangers for my closet. She then produced a whole pile of hangers and invited me to take them! I was going to decline, fearing they would be wire hangers, but they were all very sturdy plastic! Despite that interaction, I still decided to come in. I currently have mild cold symptoms, so as a healthcare worker I chose to wear a mask out of consideration for others. When I arrived, one employee asked to see the dress and began discussing it, but then abruptly stopped and asked if I was sick while covering her mouth and nose with her jacket. I answered honestly that I had a common cold. Another employee then came over, and the first employee began commenting about me being sick while speaking in another language. The second employee was polite and attempted to continue helping me, but by that point I no longer felt comfortable proceeding. I completely understand people wanting to protect themselves from illness, but the interaction felt unprofessional and unnecessarily rude, especially considering I was already taking precautions by wearing a mask. Fortunately, I was able to find another alterations business willing to work with my timeline that treated me professionally and actually appreciated that I wore a mask while sick. I would recommend others choose a business with a more respectful and professional approach to customer service.

On multiple garments Ive waited on repairs only to come pick them up at the scheduled time and find that they were not complete. This happened with some surgical cuffs on a jacket I needed shortened. When I dropped it off there was no mention that this was not something they could do. I wait for the alterations to be done to come back and see that the sleeve seems were open and I was told they couldn't do the work. It was something they easily could have mentioned the first time I was there. I was refunded my money on this. Most recently was a ridiculous series of going to get shoulders fixed on a sport jacket that were out of whack from the web based manufacturer. I probably went back and forth to Ericka's 6-8 times on this jacket, ordered shoulder pads as directed, and ultimately was told they could not fix the jacket, weeks later. Two other alterations tailors told me on the spot that they couldn't fix the jacket. That's all I can ask for with respect to an unfixable problem. Tell me up front so I don't waste my time and money. Ericka's did offer to split the cost of a new jacket after it had been hurried back together with thread that doesn't match. I will not waste my time here anymore. If they tell you a date your garment will be ready, add a week or two to that and be prepared to be let down.

And Semra has plenty of this. I have been to her twice for three items. One was an uncomplicated hemming and was on the more expensive side, but she had it done in 2-3 hours. The other was a complicated hemming and cuffing of pants and complicated work on an overcoat. The job was down within a week and was absolutely reasonably priced. The work was flawless. Basically, if you are coming to her to sew on a button, it's going to be on the expensive side. If you come to her for complicated work, she is going to do a great job, for a great price, for a reasonable price. Also, for what it's worth, she has always been very pleasant and nice with me!
