It was my Dream Dress! When I got it and put them on both didn't fit, while one was close. I used to be extremely overweight so I've never owned something this beautiful. My heart dropped when it wouldnt zip up. I blindfolded my Fiancé so he could help me zip it up since all my friends dont live in TN. That Night I called 4 "commercial" bridal shops. Every single one said there was nothing they could do since my Wedding was a mere 32 days away. I felt all hope was lost. The next day I gave Only One Tailoring a call-HOPING they could help. I told them my dress was VERY close to fitting. They were gracious enough to get me in the next day, less than 24 hours from my phone call. Im not going to lie. I had no hope. Im on a strict budget and I know altering the dress would be twice what I paid for my gown. As soon as I walked in, the ladies were sooo inviting and welcoming. I was put in a room to try my dress on and walk out so my dress could be inspected. As soon as I walked our, my Tailor said, "Oh great you got the Zipper up!" I was like..No I wish lol. She advised me the dress is super close to closing and it just needed a second hand and womena touch. She grabbed an associate and 1,2,3 it was zipped up. I almost CRIED! I still couldn't breathe lol. But a simple couple pounds will be fine. She asked if I wanted any additional alterations. I am a big chested girl and the cups were big. She immediately tightened my straps and hellllo boobs..she was beautiful. I did ask how much it would be to get the front hemmed a little and it was out of my range. But some heels will fix that! I DID ask how much to open up the dress a little and rush service. It was over my budget since my dress wasnt that expensive. She told me a simple claw hook and an extra set of hands would work. She quoted me $14 and I said let's do it! I told her I can pick it up whenever since I had to head to work. She informed me she was going to do it right then and there, to sit tight and it would be 15 minutes. It was less than 15 minutes and POOF my Wedding Dress nightmare was fixed! I left a fat tip and thanked her so much. I didnt have a chance to try on a wedding dress, with a whole crew, and see it in a big mirror. I CRIED. I loved my dress even more. I will NOT stop PRAISING Only One Tailoring! They saved the day for this Bride! I hardly write reviews but if I could give 10 stars I would! I bought the dress on sale for $15, it is a mini dress made of a cotton blend (maybe?) and a lining. It was all tailored perfectly for me for $43! That's a great deal in my book! Suki and her dog, who remains securely behind a little pet gate, were lovely and very polite. Upon picking up, I asked if I could take the hanger my dress was on, and lamented how I need to purchase more hangers for my closet. As an everyday person, they made me feel welcomed just as much as they did for what I'd consider their upper echelon of clientele. This is a high-end alterations establishment, and when I needed to get a dress altered for my grandmother's funeral this weekend, they were willing to take on the job despite my being rejected by several other alteration establishments before, as it is wedding season and a lot of alteration places are weeks and even months into working with other people's garments for altering. I did pay dearly for it, but if something had to be fixed on the dress, they did so. I had to return after they turned it around in one day to get the initial dress completely finished, but still time to spare for this weekend. When you go to get alterations, you want to feel valued, welcomed and heard. I felt all of these things when I was here. They set a high bar for customer service. Jeff, the owner, mentioned working with the same seamstress for 38 years! That is wonderful. Jeff also does pet paintings and has various ties, libation recipe books, and other miscellaneous items for sale. I bought a libation recipe book for my husband, and he was really appreciative of it. I thought GREAT now I don't have to take the time to do it myself, even though I am able. Stopped in and a clerk greeted me with a blase (at best) attitude and I told him I just wanted to hem them to a specific inseam measurement and he became quite condescending and argumentative about that stating emphatically they would not be right and that he would not guarantee his work. I was taken aback by his rude and arrogant treatment of customers. Now, I know that hemming is little more than a time consuming task - it'll take me a couple of hours to do a superior job - but it's not difficult even if you do an invisible hem. So I left with my new slacks to hem at home since I CAN guarantee my own quality workmanship. Once I got in the car I remembered that the last time I had patronized that business was at least two decades ago when I ordered two custom mens business shirts for my husband as a Christmas present. They weren't inexpensive. But when they arrived they were very undersized and did not fit even though Stitch It staff had measured for the shirts in house. They acted then much like they acted today that they really wouldn't stand by the quality of their work. Glad I got a free reminder of what kind of business this is this time instead of having wasted money on un-wearable shirts. What a shame to be so miserable in your own skin that you have to go out of your way to make your customers feel uncomfortable and unappreciated.

Instantly, Linda and her team were welcoming and helpful and committed to helping me save money throughout this process.. So we moved through possible fixes to ensure they were just altering what I needed. They worked so fast and beautifully. In a day of panic where a nearby cleaners service ripped my dress--on a Monday when they are closed, Linda happened to be there (thank you, Jesus!) and hugged me as I cried of stress over this rip. She said we could fix it in just 2 mins. And she did! It was the biggest gift and they made this process so easy, relaxed, and fun. Damaged and overcharged…read more First off, I've been using GHS for years now and have loved them but something has changed. Was told that a pair of elastic in some shorts would be $15, upon pickup was charge $36. She claimed she never gave me a price...not true. Then upon inspection, someone stuck a pin in the silk shorts creating a hole that was attempted to be remedied by steaming it. The hole now sags and looks like a pull. The entire band is sloppy and the elastic already popped. Asking them to remedy the situation was almost comical, staring at a customer blankly is not a suitable response to any issues. I strongly caution anyone taking their garments there unless you prefer to be treated oddly and overcharged for a potentially damaged item.

It was extremely wrinkled and I asked why. He explained that all they do is just wash the comforter and toss it in a bag. Something I could have done from my home. For $62 dollars nothing had changed. He also tried to say that we spoke over the phone about the stains and how it needed more treatment which never happened. Do not waste your money here!
