However, recently, I had my acrylics taken off and they put on something called tap gel. The lady said this was supposed to be super strong and last a while. The length was much shorter than I wanted, and the French tips were uneven and sloppy. I called afterward and spoke to another lady who told me I could come back for a free fix. When I returned, the staff rushed through the entire set, leaving acrylic underneath my nails, and overall they still looked terrible. I even offered to come back the next day so they could take more time fixing them, but the lady told me no. For the amount of money I'm paying as a high school student, I expected much better quality and service. I think the salon either needs to hire better nail techs or lower their prices to match the quality they provide.

The nails were bumpy around the edges, not at all the shape and length I asked for, and she completely overcharged me.
