And at the very end, there was just messy details. I came home and finished filing my own nails and cleaned them up a little more. I work with people so I understand having a bad day or being burned out, but I would never make another customer or client feel this way. This time Lily did my nails and I do not recommend asking for her. To remove my previous gel polish manicure, she filed down almost to my bare nail with a metal e-file tip, followed by a sanding bit to get to my nail base. This should've been done differently and likely caused some level of damage to my natural nail. After removing my previous manicure, she began gathering supplies for a builder gel manicure, likely more expensive and NOT the service I requested. After correcting the confusion and confirming she could do the design I requested, she began. Mind you any cuticle care was skipped. She began laying the base which went fine although uneven around the edges. Once she started showing me the potential colors for the design I asked for is when I should've known better and chose a different design. Absolutely none of the combinations she showed mimicked the inspiration. I was looking for a mother of pearl effect French tip. She kept showing me different variations of sparkly topcoats over a bright white. Attempt after attempt being incorrect and not even remotely close. Eventually the guy walks over (likely shocked that my manicure isn't done yet considering it's been 45 minutes) he recommended a polish and technique that worked. My tech decided she just wanted to start fresh I guess. She filed my nails down to my bare nail with a metal tip AGAIN. Even being given a second chance to work on my cuticle with no polish in the way, she still ignored them. The second attempt and this manicure felt extremely rushed leading to unevenness, splotches, and just poor work overall. After FINALLY finishing the polish application is when she apparently wanted to work on my cuticle. Haphazardly snipping away with cuticle clippers, trying to work around the polish. Obviously this makes it significantly harder. She snipped me twice both of which drew blood. Almost 2 hours since I walked in, I was handed the tab and charged full price for this beyond awful experience. I absolutely cannot comprehend how after wasting so much of someone's time just to finish with an awful manicure, you still want to charge full price? Unfortunately, I will now have to find someone that can fix this disaster of a manicure on my hands. I used to do my own gel manicures at home and never once did my outcome get even close to this level of disappointing. I cannot recommend Lily to do your nails. Ask for Sara, she's spectacular, organized, and can get you the look you want.

I asked them not to cut her nails just to be on the safe side. But she still got royal treatment with a foot massage and mani pedi. I was able to book an appointment 2 weeks in advance. After the initial getting prepped as she's cutting my long nails I told her not too short I still wanted length. She cuts a few of my nails too short. I'm upset because not only is it time I allowed my nails to grow a certain length just for them to be looking botched in the end. I tried to let it go, and then when it came to the color it just looked too thick. It looks more gooey than shiny and sleek like usual. I spent $65, I honestly was disappointed and I don't think I'll come back. Future advice always make sure you and your tech are on the same page and speak up. I made the mistake of not speaking up because of time and I don't want to make anyone feel bad. I wish I gotten better service or some assistance :/. Overall the place is pretty inside.

My once smooth nail looks like a BMX race track. They REMEMBER you and have great customer service. Queen Nail offers a variety of specialty tips, color changing (YES, I SAID COLOR CHANGING) polish, and can even do 3D nail designs! The place is small and can get VERY busy so make an appointment ahead of time. Their willingness to make sure you are happy with the design you want on your nails makes all the difference.
