However, recently, I had my acrylics taken off and they put on something called tap gel. The lady said this was supposed to be super strong and last a while. The nails were bumpy around the edges, not at all the shape and length I asked for, and she completely overcharged me. The length was much shorter than I wanted, and the French tips were uneven and sloppy. I called afterward and spoke to another lady who told me I could come back for a free fix. I even offered to come back the next day so they could take more time fixing them, but the lady told me no. For the amount of money I'm paying as a high school student, I expected much better quality and service. I think the salon either needs to hire better nail techs or lower their prices to match the quality they provide.
