My mom and I stopped in because she was looking for earrings. She had mentioned before that Pink Box has cute selections at reasonable prices, so we decided to browse. While she was looking at earrings and pointing out styles she liked, I was helping her look through them. For context, I don't even wear earrings since I have large gauges, so I wasn't shopping for myself in that section. Afterward, I moved over to the claw clips and was looking through some butterfly clips to see if they came in matching colors. A sales associate approached us and asked if we needed help. We politely said no thank you and continued browsing. What made us uncomfortable was that after that interaction, the employee remained very close to us and appeared to be watching us the entire time. When we moved to a different area, she followed. Whether intentional or not, it felt as though we were being monitored because she suspected we might steal something. My mom and I both noticed it, and it made the shopping experience uncomfortable. We are paying customers who have visited this store before and have never given anyone a reason to be suspicious of us. I understand that retail employees have a job to do, but there is a difference between being attentive and making customers feel like they're under surveillance. Unfortunately, because of that experience, we didn't feel welcome during our visit.

Brianna was the worker helping the other customers and she let Reymar, the worker that had just come, know we were first to be helped because while waiting other customers cane into the store. Reymar was very helpful. He showed me where I could find the cases for my particular phone since I decided to buy myself a new phone case as well. They have a promotion if you buy 1 phone case at regular price all additional items are 50% off! I ended up getting 2 USB cords along with my cell phone case. I love their cords because they are very sturdy and they offer various lengths, from 3-10ft, also because they offer a lifetime replacement warranty on them! Any body that has teenagers know they be going through these plugs like they're free lol. I am happy to spend $35 on a plug if I can bring it back and get a new one if/when it breaks. Before checking out I showed my Yelp check in offer of 1 free microfiber cloth. Neither Brianna or Reymar knew anything about it but Brianna took a cloth out the drawer and gave it to me anyway. This is something that makes me a little upset, if a business promotes anything, all employees should be aware of it. They are also a little pricier than other places as far as cases and accessories go but I feel that their warranty policies make up for it. If you need USB cords buy them here!

They also have a "warranty" and put my number in the system. When my lens broke a few months later, I returned to find there was a $10 fee that I was not told about nor expecting. Their card machines were somehow not accepting tap at the moment and required a card scan (I didn't have on me). So no new lens. I went home and found a spare to save the day anyways.

Extremely disappointing experience -- and even more disappointing response from management…read more We went to the Kahala location to have a cell phone screen replaced. Before beginning the repair, the staff looked up our account and then proceeded to remove the damaged screen and install a brand-new one. Only after the repair was completed were we told that they could not locate this particular phone on our account and that, as a result, we would have to pay to set up an entirely new account rather than pay the low-cost screen replacement fee we had expected. This should have been verified before anyone touched the phone. What happened next was even more frustrating. Rather than acknowledging their mistake and finding a reasonable way to make the situation right, we were told that the best they could do was remove the brand-new screen they had just installed and put our damaged screen back on. They did exactly that -- except the old screen could not be reapplied properly. It was returned to us full of air bubbles and in worse condition than when we walked into the store. So we came in with a damaged but usable screen and left minutes later with a phone in significantly worse condition, all because the store failed to verify our eligibility before beginning the repair. Mistakes happen. What determines whether I continue doing business with a company is how it responds when it makes one. An apology, acknowledgment of the error, and a reasonable effort by management to make things right would have gone a long way. Instead, there was no meaningful attempt to rectify a problem the store itself created. Had management handled this differently, they could have retained us as customers. Instead, this experience ensured the opposite.

The repair was complete. While i was waiting in line to pick up my phone. The Tech kid was explaining to customer when its a good time to replace the battery, and when to get rid of the phone. Found their conversation enlightening. I paid the $80, with a thank you, and out into the world i went. The only knock I would give them is the credit card "surcharge". I talked to one employee that took a look at my iPad and confirmed the price and time to pick up (2 hours). I also confirmed again with the guy who managed the payment that it would take two hours. I show up around 4:45pm and no one greets me walking in. So I walk up (five minutes later) to the first employee and asked if the tablet is ready. She told me, "Oh you're early, I just have to put on the screen." It had been 2+ hours since I dropped off so I was confused but I said I will wait till they are done. I came back around 50 minutes later and the repair is not done yet. At this point it is already 5:45pm and it has not been finished. I wait until 6:18pm and she hands me it without apologizing for the wait or anything. I regret not saying anything about the time issue but it feels conflicting because of all the things I signed and I am not sure if I am in right to. The problem is not how long it takes, but it was the misinformation about when pick up would be. I confirmed with two people that it would be ready in two hours. It came out to almost 6 hours. I would not have minded dropping it off and coming back another time, if they had communicated that. But I was told it was 2 hours so I waited there, standing in the store and not wanting to rush the employees. The repair itself is excellent but the customer service was conflicting. I paid $329.84 and expected quality care. I do wish I had a better experience because it seems others do.

He is a wonderful, friendly, and very helpful business person. Very courteous to his customers and accommodates the Korean speaking community customers too. The young person with short hair who helped me. I was so impressed because she brought out one of those black velvet tray like I was trying out a million dollar jewelry. She carefully put on the case on iPhone and showed it to us. I also bought a screen protector which they have many varieties and samples so you can see. She also put it on right there under her bright lamp and saw her using a small blower to get all the lint out. I'm pretty particular about the screen protector because people do a half bottom job usually so I end up redoing it at home. But darling she did a fine job.
