So truly unprofessional. I don't understand how she's still practicing medicine. This woman is cruel. I had an infection after having an open wound. I waited three days just to make an appointment due to no one answering the phone. Then waited a month for the appointment. I FINALLY got in and they didn't believe my symptoms. Why on earth would I wait so long to be seen, come early for my appointment and lie about anything? I had to find a different doctor and wait forever to be seen again, getting more and more sick alone the way. I finally received a $12 prescription for a very classic, standard medication an am feeling so much better. Animals are treated better than this. I can't explain how sick I have been and how long it took to get this all resolved. My quality of life was miserable being unable to sleep and in severe, constant pain. read more

Dr. Gamuth was present and respectful when I came in to have something looked at. I did have to wait a little to see her, but once I did I felt like I was actually having a conversation with her. She was clearly listening to me and cared about the issue at hand, instead of worried about the next patient to get to. Definitely recommend. read more

I was referred to see Dr. Gamoth by my PCP. made an appointment on the Zocdoc app, which was confirmed by the office. I was also sent a text message confirmation, to which I confirmed via SMS that I would be keeping my appointment. I also received a phone call from the front office to confirm my appointment with Dr. Gamoth, where I also confirmed my appointment. When I showed up for my appointment, the front office girl nonchalantly told me the doctor was booked and they had my appointment with an assistant. There were THREE opportunities to communicate with me about this scheduling issue, and offer me an assistant instead of a doctor, but the staff failed to mention anything. I drove 30 minutes there, and 30 minutes back, for no reason. I can't imagine a fourth confirmation opportunity would even help such a simple communication error. I would not recommend this unprofessional office to others. read more

I was thoroughly pleased with the doctor. She was very personable but more important she listened well to my concerns, answered my questions so I had a good understanding about her diagnosis and recorded my visit on her tablet for future reference so it would be easy to know all of what we discussed and the treatment she prescribed. What a waste of money, time & energy. My medical concerns are still an issue and she didn't help me at all. Dr. Gamoth has absolutely no bed side manners and gives off an aura that she doesn't care to address the reason you scheduled a appointment with her. When she came in the room to complete my evaluation she was cold and didn't engage in much of any eye contact with me. Every patient deserves to feel valued and that they will get the help they need. We as members of medical insurance should've a way to submit billing claims to stop payment when doctors do not render services they're suppose to provide. She prescribed me medication to which I advised offered me no relief. When I realized she wasn't listening I immediately felt disappointed because after viewing some of her interviews I thought she would provide quality care. The interviews were just for show. My appointment was awhile back. I can recall two bad experiences while seeking medical care and Dr. Gamoth is one of them. She may be liked by some but she is NOT the doctor for me. read more

I went to Dr. Gamoth's office in Mesa and was extremely disappointed. My appointment was at 9:00 am and Dr. Gamoth did not see me until 9:40. I was brought back into a room right away but still waited 40 mins for her to come and see me. Once she finally did come into my room, she barely glanced at me from her Ipad she was carrying to introduce herself. I was there for a rash I had been dealing with for about 3 - 4 weeks. Dr. Gamoth barely looked at my rash, I would say she may have looked at it for a whole 5 seconds and then said she needed to take a biopsy. She didn't ask me any questions about the rash, ie: how long I've had it, does it itch, were there any changes in anything I was using at home, etc. She just instantly went for the money maker and wanted to do a biopsy and take a chunk of my arm out. Besides not being interested for the reason I was there, she was way more concerned about yelling at me for my sun damage on my chest and asking me if I was taking medication for my freckles. WTH? Do people really take freckle meds and what does it do? Erase freckles???? She told me that I should never be in the sun again. Ummmm.... I live in AZ. I explained to her that I do wear sunscreen but she very rudely told me that I had already ruined my skin. I do not recommend Dr. Gamoth to anyone. She is very rude, does not seem to have a very pleasant bedside manner and would rather play with her ipad than look at you and make you feel like she is listening and that she really cares about why you are there. Oh, and by the time my biopsy came back almost 3 weeks later, my rash was completely gone and they told me I had eczema which I've never had in my life and, the rash I had, looked nothing whatsoever like the eczema pictures I've seen. My rash must have been from some kind of change in a product at home that I am not remembering but whatever it was, it's gone, good riddance and thankfully I won't have to return to Dr. Gamoth!!!! read more

I went to Dr Gamoth's Casa Grande office. The office was beautiful, but highly UNprofessional. The office staff giggled their way thru the new computer system. They left me sitting in an exam room in my bra with the door open. A teenage boy came out of the office across the hall and looked right at me. Yes, I was covered, but why was their a kid sitting in one of the offices? He was obviously not a patient. And why couldn't they shut the door? Then, when I asked Dr Gamoth about the size of the scar on the mole she had removed from my back, she lectured me on vanity!! read more

I had a appointment on Jan 10, 2018, it was at 4:00 pm. The morning of Jan. 10, I get a call from Dr. Gamoth saying that they had a cancellation and ask if I could come in at 3;30. I had said that would be doable and I would be there at 3:30. At 3:20 I was there, went to sign in. The receptionist stated that the Dr. had left for the day and if it would be ok for me to see her MA. What do you think I said, After I got done blowing my top I left. I do not recommend this DR. I was very pleased with my first visit to A to Z Dermatology. I had a suspicious spot on my arm that needed to be looked at. I was able to get an appointment one week from the day I called (vs. 2 months later at the other places I called). My wife had been to the ER twice in the last two weeks needing Morphine to ease the pain.Dr G applied a balm and gave her a prescription and recovery was well underway by the next day. I had the best experience with Dr Gamoth! My 16 year old daughter was being seen for acne and Dr Gamoth was great! She took extra time with us to hear our concerns and explain everything to us. She made a huge effort with my daughter to talk to her and connect with her on a personal level, even asking her to bring in photos of her with her Homecoming date on her next visit! This review is not in regards to medical treatment, but overall patient experience dealing with reception staff. For one, be expected to wait no matter if it is the initial appointment or a follow-up. Expect any appointment to be longer than 45 minutes. Besides that, I know for a fact that I have not experienced as horrible of customer service in any type of establishment than I have here in their Mesa office. Not only will reception not give you the time of day, but I have been dealing with a bill I received for a surgery I NEVER had done and have had to follow-up on the phone over 7 times and have had to go in office in order for this bill to be looked at. After speaking with the office manager who assured me that this situation would be resolved, it has now been 9 months of me going back and for with them for a $400 bill that has still yet to be resolved. I too, have a family members going through the exact same situation and to hear the same excuses has made me come to the conclusion that us three will NOT be coming back for any service due the lack of competence and respect their staff has presented to get these problems resolved. I completely understand if they are busy, or if on my part I have made a mistake. But in the 7 phone calls and visit in-person you would think they would have gotten this resolved after at least the second time of this being presented to them. I like to think that I am a very, VERY understanding person but for this to be a continuing issue that I have dealt with, this has resulted me not returning. read more
