It is so very hard for small store-front businesses to make a profitable "go" any longer, and this is yet another example. They will be missed, and I hope the employees can find work elsewhere. Chino Valley is a disaster in many ways, including the weather (think 40mph+ wind throughout spring, Dust Devils, 95+ degree summer weather, and hard freezes in winter) be it fine dining (except for Essence and El Charro, perhaps), quality grocery stores, entertainment, or navigating the city's road potholes everywhere. I can see why octogenarians aren't bothered, with many of them traversing into Prescott via emergency ambulance every day.
