They are personable and will remember your bird babies and ask how they're doing while recommending the best care. We have purchased 2 English budgies and 2 regular budgies. All were babies and super sweet. Their pricing is great and the shop carries all the necessities you need. We did have concern about one of our birds a few months ago and messaged this location through instagram in the later hours and they responded quickly and with immediate assistance and guidance. Exceptional bird store with staff that very clearly cares for their animals! We adopted a sweet budgie, Nimbus, today and were amazed by how fun and thoughtful the experience was. Tons of baby budgies in a rainbow of colors to choose from--ours is light blue with white puffs that look like clouds and a yellow head that looks like sunshine! I failed to get his name, but the person working was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about birds. He took time to explain which birds were most family-friendly, checked to make sure the bird we selected was friendly, offered to trim her wings, and even gave us some free millet as a welcome home gift for our new bird. We can tell that she was well taken care of while at Birdz and Beyond--she is much less fearful of humans than other budgies we've encountered and is already warming up to our family and seeking out snuggles! We drove 40+ minutes to get to Birdz and Beyond and will continue to do so. What a lovely experience. read more

Well our sweet boy Azul needed to get his nails trimmed for the first time since adopting him. We have put it off for a long time because he was so traumatized when we first adopted him from his previous experiences and we didn't want to add to his trauma. So we have given him as much time as possible to become acclimated to us and home and to feel like his world wouldn't be turned upside down again. We have been coming to Birdz and Beyond for at least 5 years. They have always taken the best care of us and our Sunshine. They are always completely professional and they care so much for the Birdz and animals the provide services for. So we knew Azul would be in good hands. These guys are amazing! They really LOVE birds here and it shows in every way. They are very knowledgeable and are willing to answer any questions if you are new to the bird world. The prices for cages and supplies are half of what other places charge and I have purchased 2 great cages from them already. They will also do wing and nail clipping. Zackary and his Family are great. Their store is always well stocked and if they don't have what your looking for they are really great about trying to get it. They have a great selection of cages and accessories and well as seed blends and gravels perfect for every kind of bird. All the live stock in the store appear healthy and active . The owners are great, BUT some of their birds have metal bands on their legs. This is an unnecessary type of marker for the breeder. Please check this first before buying a bird. I bought a bird there, my first bird, and didn't know to check about the band on his leg. The bird is very unhappy with the band, and is constantly biting at it trying to get it off. Under no circumstances would i get another bird with a band on its leg, so please be aware of that and stay away. read more

The best experience I have ever had! It's a family owned business and the son is so informative! We have a lovebird and she got a metal hook from a bell stuck in her beak. We were worried and afraid to hurt her. He took her with care and got the hook out! He also provided information about her food and bathing which we has no idea about. First let me start by saying both my husband and I enjoy visiting this store. Although we have not purchased our birds from their store there is nothing that would stop us from buying a bird from them. The entire family is great, very knowledgeable and very loving to all animals. We purchase our pellets and nuts from them along with toys. This store is 100% AMAZING. It is clean, neatly laid out, lots of friendly birds and the owner and his staff are absolutely wonderful! I have a bit of a story on how I came to this place. For Christmas my son decided he wanted a bird. A cockatiel to be exact. I went to another store in the valley. Nice people but it didn't specialize in birds. This was my first mistake. We picked out his bird the day after Christmas and he brought him home. It was not hand trained. This was my second mistake. My son worked every single day with his bird. Reading to it, playing his clarinet to it etc, he was meticulous about the birds food/water/cage etc. After a month (so just recently) the bird would get on his hand and eat out of it. He was SO proud. We found his bird dead in the cage Wednesday night (this bird I was told was less than 6 months old). Needless to say he was pretty heart broken. I called Birdz and Beyond. We had a long discussion about what happened, the environment the bird came from, and the bird was in at and how he was being cared for. Some times things happen and sadly there was not much we could have done to save our little friend. My son decided he wanted to try again, and Birdz and Beyond just happened to have 8 week old hand trained cockatiels in stock, so off we went. The owner was amazing, he took all the time in the world helping my son pick his new friend, explaining care, and picking out all of the new equipment we would need. (Didn't want to take chances with the old cage etc). He was able to tell him the birds birthday as well which is important to my son. They decorated his new cage together, and my son was so excited to bring his new friend home. I will go back here for supplies, grooming of the bird and they also do boarding if you need to be away from your friend. He spent most of the evening last night cuddling with his little friend and making sure he was all tucked in and ready for bed. I am going to be a regular at this place with absolutely no doubt, I may even buy a bird for myself. If you have any bird needs, or you are looking to get a new little friend go here, I cannot rave enough! read more

These guys made buying a Cockatiel for my kid so easy and fun! They are family run, very reasonable and knowledgeable. I never feel stupid asking questions. They have great hours and they will clip wings and do nails, etc. if you call ahead to make sure they have an extra person working. Did I mention the prices? Also the place is spotless.
