Love the concept of this business idea, our dog is our baby and to have a place where she gets to play all day and not be locked up in a cage at night makes my heart so happy. I wanted to write a review related to the booking experience here. From the website i saw where you were able to text to set up a booking. I text the number provided and immediately got a response back from Savanna. She answered all of my questions, was so polite, friendly and professional and super responsive. I did have one question related to what a day would look like at the facility so called the number to speak with someone. I didnt even tell them my name. Shannon answered the phone, and she already knew everything I had texted with Savanna about. Shannon was also super helpful and friendly. I was blown away by these ladies' customer service, not sure how they do it but they were both amazing! They were responsive, helpful and made it so easy to book with them. Badger and Scotch love to board here! Both are extremely young rescues, and Badger especially, has trust (of other humans) and separation (from me) issues, but the minute we arrive here, none of that anxiety kicks in for either of them. They know they are in for a great day of play, and always come home tired and happy. The staff is very attentive and it's evident they love dogs. Packages are available and are a huge money saver, especially if you have more than one dog however, make sure you keep track of your packages. Their computer system has had a couple of blips in the past where we've had to figure out where a session has disappeared to, but the staff has been incredibly patient and diligent with me in making sure my records are straight if I've noticed a discrepancy. It's rare, and I do think their computer system is better now, but it has had its moments in the past. Shannon and Natalia have been amazing in that regard. My pups also love Makena! This place is great, especially for first responders or any people that work odd hours... you can drop off and pick your babies up any hour of the day! Doesn't look like much when you find it. At first glance, it's a small space in a very small strip mall. Thankfully, the back workings are a pleasant surprise. When you first enter, it's a hit or miss if there is someone actually at the front desk. If so, great! if not, you're to press this doorbell looking thing and I guess it pages in back. Why they're in back and not up front if they're assigned the desk baffles me, but ok. Least they come. Place is great! If you have big dogs. Apparently, the big guys are more cause for concern and need more supervision so there is alwayssss someone in there.. so if you have little family members, yes, they are alone sometimes. Didn't feel like there was AC. We're in a yucky desert, in the pinnacle of summer, and no AC? I don't know if it was broken, or they use a swamp cooler, or just nothing. But it was humid as can be with only a space fan.. like for your office. The big dog room didn't seem organised well. it's just a large, open room full of dogs. For the dogs that want to play and rough house and egg each other on, wonderful. But there's no where for the older or tired dogs who just want to lounge. Same with the small babies, one room. And hope no one gets stepped on. I used to have a beagle who flipped out if you startled him and played too close, it happens. I like the idea. I like your pup can play at 3 in the morning. I like the fact there are no cages and if they want to sleep, they curl up wherever and go to it. I like the concept-- I really do. However, I have a little girl and I'm not crazy about the fact the big boys seem to get more interaction. If I want my dog to be left alone, I can leave her in the house.. with more than a space fan. Their boarding prices have raised about $15. They did not used to do this, but Now if you're a few hours over 24 hours they charge you for a half day of daycare I don't think it should cost $90 to board your dog for a an overnight stay. read more

I began coming here almost a year ago when i got a job in Glendale, and as a commuter that lives in south Scottsdale, i felt terrible leaving my dog home alone. All of that changed when we started coming to Glendale doge! These people are seriously the best, and they are the only people I trust my dog with. Not only is management great, the employees are always there and friendly. Well trained, professional, and they are always aware of who my dog is when I walk in, which always feels good. Of course people are nervous leaving their precious pups with "strangers" but you feel like a part of their family right away. They are willing to answer questions and concerns wether it's over the phone while you're out of town, or when you pick your pup up. Leave your dog here at your own peril. Near-dead dog after a 3 week boarding. I am seriously RED in the face. My mom just told me about her experience boarding her dog here last year. She's elderly and non-confrontational... apparently she didn't feel the need to complain because, ultimately, her dog didn't die; it only got near-death. She left her dog here while she went traveling internationally for 3 weeks. When she got the dog back, it lost a third of it's body weight (one half before it finally started to recover). It was completely emaciated to the point it was a walking zombie. The dog had bloody diarrhea and vomit. Who knows how long that was going on for and the employees didn't notice? If you can't notice obvious issues, what the hell else are you missing? She took it to the vet and they said it was dehydrated to the point of death. They also diagnosed multiple infections via the bloody stools and had to prescribe a couple different meds. They had to overnight the dog to make sure it didn't die that same day. It couldn't eat and if it did get any food in, it would throw it right back up - along with blood. This was for another week following the pickup and it continued to drop weight to half of what it was by that end of the first week back. All this, while she was getting "updates" during her trip that the dog was doing "fine." Dehydration the point of death, bloody stools and vomiting? No employees noticed? What a joke of a place. You better pray she doesn't have enough documentation readily available. This place is not set up for more than a couple days of care. Look at that other review about only feeding the dogs half the apportioned food left. You're better off leaving a dog in a laundry room with a bag of food and jar of water. At least it'll get fed and have water to drink. At least it won't get any of the numerous viruses and bacteria from the unsanitary conditions here. read more

I dealt with Chris and joe here after another place would not board my puppy They did a great job with him and I love that it is an open environment. My puppy is a 4 month old cattle dog rescue. He has trust and is not real social yet but they worked him and figured out that he needed to be with the bigger dogs and he did great. When living in Phoenix , Hatchi had play days at the facility on Bell Rd. Hatchi is a rescue that was abused.. He was not trusting of others but after the staff at Glendale Dogs, Bell Rd. started working with him and encompassing my work at home he started to come out of his shell. I recently had to leave the state and had no one to watch him so I drove all the way to Phoenix and board him on Bell Rd. Hatchi has never been away from me. I was really worried and prepared to come right back and get him if needed. He did fine, mom not so much. The poor staff had to put up with my frequent calls at different hours. He was there for 3 days and overnights. My only concern was he did not eat at all, however the staff kept me informed about it. He at as soon as we got back on the road. read more

Our relationship began with Dogs 24/7 when we were referred to Gilbert Dogs 24/7. We lived in Chandler and our dog Coconut spent a "Spa Weekend" there while we traveled. We received movies of Coconut and her Furry Friends and loved that! When we picked her up, she was exhausted, but happy!And she ate well while staying there-she didn't like to eat when we left her elsewhere. We got an e-report card and everyone helping was wonderful. Once we even met the owner Stephen! Naturally we were THRILLED when Glendale Dogs 24/7 opened! Upon booking online I received a confirmation call from Doug(I hope I have his name correct; he was so polite!) and an opportunity to take Coconut for a Meet and Greet. I called and spoke with Chris, who provided excellent customer service. He helped me with vaccination questions and my inquiry about a discount. He even informed me that if we refer new customers, we can get a credit on our account for future visits. Thanks, Chris! I have been telling my neighbors and co-workers how super their facility is. When we extended a trip, I mailed the food she eats via Amazon and they let me know immediately when it arrived. Also, they assured me our Coconut was fine. She looks so happy in the videos and we know she is safe. Again, prepare for your dog to be tired after a visit or boarding, but it's because of all the fun your pet had with all the Pooch Pals. Even when discussing Coconut's odd behaviors, such as her starvation strikes and rudeness toward men, the staff is understanding and trained rather than causing us to feel judged. We have paid for a bath at the end of her stay once, and it was so fantastic to bring home a clean, fluffy dog! Groupon has great deals going on now for new customers. Such a wonderful place to bring your fur children. All of the staff is very friendly and you can tell they truly care for your animals. I've boarded my dogs here on multiple occasions and had nothing but a good experience. They call you with any concern. My husky wasn't eating his food and they called to see if they could add some of their housemade doggy yogurt in to get him to eat. They don't do anything without your consent, which I appreciated. I needed a boarding place I can feel safe bringing my dog when we go out of town and was shocked that so many places have no one on site overnight and have narrow cages. I brought my three dogs in (all rescues) for their intro and was impressed as soon as the employees began interacting with them. Two of my three were physically abused prior to us taking them in and one will still cower and run from us occasionally (it's been almost a year!). The timid one went right up to the employee and began sniffing and licking her hand. That has never happened. When I went back after they got settled they were running around, happy, and not barking! We had been skeptical on leaving our Labradoodle fur baby Cole behind while we went on vacation. After visiting, Chris gave us a tour Cole stayed and did the 4 hour assessment he loved it. We received updates as requested and since he can go outdoors as much as he wants was amazing. It's very clean and the provide treats for them. I definitely have to say the Cole will be returning to meet more friends and to spend time with the caring and compassionate staff. Although Cole wasn't on any medications during his stay it's great to know that their staff is trained and able to administer medication if needed.
