Came here for a filling and French design which one worker did a pretty good job however not even a week later, gel started coming off. I noticed a tear in the polish on my thumb and ignored thinking it was just the gel WRONG it was the nail breaking. I ended up breaking 4 nails all within 2 weeks and when I went back to fix it the owner said something to the tune that its my doing why my nails are breaking 2 weeks into getting it done and how it's normal for gel to chip. I've been going here since 2017, and they're amazing. Jay is so good at his craft. Look at this shaping and paint job .. just immaculate. The pedicure was also really nice and they have awesome massage chairs. Also for pedicures they use disposable tools. Therefore every customer gets treated with a new set of tools. I love it there, they work quickly and are very nice. I don't plan on going any where else. I came across this place after being frustrated with some many different businesses! Anyway, I found this place via google maps, because it's close to my King's house! I called & Jay jay gave me an appointment. I came in and Susan did my gel manicure. I'm not a fan of gel manicures, but I need something quick because I was getting rid my the gel après nails I had on. Susan did a good job! Jay jay informed me he was going to start doing Poly Gel nails which I never tried, but I was excited because I knew my next visit would be to get my natural nails wrapped. Fast forward, I came back in two weeks...KEEP IN MIND, I'm an Esthetician student, so at this point in my life I can't have long nails or bright colored nail polish because I have to practice facials in school. Ran in here on a whim. I needed a polish change badly. I called ahead and asked pricing. I thought $20 for a gel polish change was a lil pricey. But I was in the area and needed it so I went to Jay Jay nails off church Ave and was surprised by the awesome customer service , the mini massage at the end and decent selection of gel colors. At first I thought maybe I broke my nail so I just went back and got it fixed but whatever they are using to put the nails on isn't lasting even two weeks. 3 stars because I've come here multiple times and usually leave pleased with the result. Last time I went in for a fill-in, I was offered to go to someone who wasn't my usual tech (I feel bad I forgot her name, but she sits right by the door) however since she happened to be free at the time I asked for her instead, because I've always been pleased with her work in regards to the shaping of the nail & overall look. I don't know if she was having a bad day, was upset I interrupted her book or what, but what I ended up having to leave with was more akin to something I would expect to get up by Nostrand Ave (if you're from the area, you know what I mean). The shaping on every nail came out wonky and crooked, and multiple nails were thick and bulky. I had originally asked for a French tip, but as she was doing it I realized I didn't like the way it looked with my nails being that short (and also the lines being shaky despite taking forever to do) so I asked her to paint over them. I did this fully expecting to pay for the French tips anyway, seeing as she had got about halfway done when I realized it didn't look good. But even so, being charged over $50 for a fill in and a gel polish that looked a hot mess when I left the shop left a bad taste in my mouth that came back in full force every time I looked down at my hands. I ended up buying a gel tip kit and I do my own nails now. At least I can thank y'all for encouraging me to learn a new skill. read more

This is the WORST SALON everrrrr. I was so excited to get a pedicure after 3 months. Going to Miami tomorrow for vacation after a big exam. Then i come here and this lady gives me a quick horrible pedicure in which she CUTS ME!!!!! My foot was bleeding and burning. Even 10 hours later I took a shower and it was burning in the shower. The least she cud have done was try to massage my leg a little or something for the damn pedicure but she didn't even look sorry. Then at the end I had to literally beg for a discount and they said that my cut isn't deep and "okay fine u can have a 5 dollar discount". This was afterrr me complaining for a whileee that it hurts!!! I'm gonna post a pic of my foot after showering after the blooood came off so u can only imagine how it looked the whole day. I hope this crap doesn't get infected in Miami Beach water. Worst place ever. Beyond pissssed, I would rather pay 5-10 dollars more and have somebody not scrub my foooot in a rushed manner to make it freaking bleed. read more

went on a sunday afternoon to get a pedicure. i was seen right away but when i was leaving there were people waiting and getting agitated. so i recommend getting there early. and the lady who did my feet did an amazing job. In comparison to other regular 'hood' nail salons that we are all grateful for, this has been the best so far just because of the hygienic practices and the nice staff. I went here because of the reviews and because they use disposable nail tools. It seemed like a regular nail salon: walk in, say what service you want, and get serviced. Only con is that they may not have enough staff on hand on the weekends. I went on a sunday around 11 AM. Got a pedicure and silk wrap. The process was painless and not rushed. The store owner 'Jay' did my nails and although this was my first time getting that service and I didn't know how it should look, they looked good. Ladies, if you have weak nails and do not like it when they file down your nails then get a silk wrap. They also have a decent range of colors. After ten services, you get a free service btw. There is also a parking lot up front but if you go on a sunday you might be out of luck since there is a church in the complex and of course its church ave! read more

Went there for the first time for tips and a pedi. My nails were done by Jay Jay he was really nice and welcome . The nail job was good but not excellent compare to my previous nail lady, the same for my pedi but I like the job. Today I went and was less shy in regards to asking what I wanted and telling them in a nice way to do this and that. They comply without any attitude . My nails came out just like I like them . No more square nails for me ! The place is clean they park efficiently buy take their time working with you . They clean their tools have a clean restroom . The wait time for me was less than 15 minutes for someone to start working with me . Jay Jay is the busiest also there another young guy that works there that seem to be as popular . Next time I going to him for my feet . Very please with the place , will continued to come here for my nails.
