Enchiladas Mexicanas, one beef, one chicken.

I still enjoy the food at this location. However, I recently acquired an allergy to milk. This place is not allergy friendly. I asked for my usual of Chile verde no cheese. I think they forgot and then tried to pull it out. I will know better before returning.

I stopped at the Harrisville location of Javier's, used their drive-up window. Understandable that there is no menu board available as this is a temporary drive-up window. Ask for a menu, ordered number 6 chili verde burrito combo plate off the lunch menu. Total price was $10.81, added a dollar tip even though I normally don't tip at drive-thrus. My debit card was charged $12.87. Tried to call back but no manager was on duty. The food was delicious but Raquel committed a fraud against me by overcharging.

Good enough. Good service. Not great mex but tasty enough and cheap. Decent serving sizes. Beer available.

The food was better than most Mexican places I've eaten at. Service was good and waiter was friendly.

Javier's is my favorite. I take my mom every Wednesday and we never tire of it. The help is very friendly. It has the best salsa and chips.

I will not be returning to Javier's. The food and margaritas were terrible. Don't waste your time or money.

    Xalisco - Birthday cake

A birthday surprise I'll never forget!…read more This restaurant came highly recommended by a former employee, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. From the moment we sat down, everything impressed us. I tried a mezcal cocktail for the first time, the blueberry mezcal, and it was incredibly unique, smoky, slightly sweet, and just overall delicious. For food, we ordered the corn, poblano tamales, and the chorizo steak burrito. Every bite was packed with flavor. Portions were generous, so much so that we ended up taking leftovers home (always a good sign!). But the true highlight of the evening? The birthday celebration. Our waitress asked if we were celebrating anything, and I casually mentioned a birthday at the end of the month. She smiled and said, "Leave the rest to me." I had no idea what was coming... Suddenly, the entire bar lit up? iterally. Flames shot up like a volcano erupting, the staff came out with fire, bubbles, and this incredible energy. It felt like a full-on performance. Then came a rich chocolate cake soaked in liqueur that was just as dramatic as it was delicious. It wasn't just dinner, it was an experience. If you're looking for amazing food, creative drinks, and unforgettable celebrations, this place delivers on all of it. We'll definately be back.

For a second I wondered if they were closed, but someone eventually came out and seated me. That initial vibe had me a bit concerned, but I stuck it out. I started with the chips, corn, and guacamole, which was decent, nothing mind-blowing but fresh enough and got the job done. The Cadillac Margarita ($20) was a disappointment though. It was basically a glass of ice with way too much lime juice dominating everything; I could barely taste the tequila. The Michelada was better, solid and refreshing, and the service was about the same: friendly and attentive enough once they got going, but nothing standout. But holy smokes, that asada stuffed burrito saved the whole meal. The asada was ridiculously tender, perfectly seasoned, and packed with flavor. Juicy, smoky, melt-in-your-mouth beef wrapped in a solid burrito. That one item alone made me glad I came. Overall, the place has some hits and misses. If the asada is what you're after, it's worth it. Just maybe skip the Cadillac marg and don't expect a lively atmosphere on a slow night. I'd go back for the burrito.

There were a perfect size... they felt a little bigger than street tacos but not overbearing. I also dipped them in the green salsa that comes with the chips and damn, that salsa is good. My partner got 3 birria enchiladas smothered in red sauce and the flavors were all there. The only thing we should have done differently was ordered all 3 meats in the enchiladas. It was impossible to choose a favorite meat option. The rice was cooked to perfection and fluffy. And the beans were the perfect consistency. The server was incredibly sweet and attentive. The music was a perfect playlist of Spanish hip hop and pop. Idk what the lyrics mean but they are probably telling their friends how good this place The decor is so badass! It has a custom painted dia de muertos mural celebrating the city of Ogden. This place just feels like a love of the food. It shows in the feeling you get when you walk in the door as well as with every bite of food. Like, can I have my birthday party here?

They are made by the order, so they are fresh and piping hot when you get them. They are packed with cheese and whichever protein you choose. We got the beef one and I daydream about it all the time. I also love the ambiance of the place and how it is like a hidden gem. Cannot wait to go back!

It didn't look like the cleanest place in the world but I didn't mind it. I got a couple different tacos and a gordita. My tacos came right out but my gordita took FOREVER! I'm a big fan of lengua and this was some of my favorite. I love the condiment bar they have to dress up your tacos. What I was really impressed with was their horchata. It was amazing and we had a really friendly waitress who always made sure we were doing well and since we were friendly back she gave us the horchata for free. Great company and great service. I called and told them their meat smells like diaper poop and the meat was burnt or very old I think they just reconstituted it. They have a really nice restaurant and friendly staff but if someone has a complaint or problem with their food they should handle it better than having a older couple to bring the food back and they will refund your money back. If that is how they are gonna be maybe they should just have a catering truck or make food on the side of the road . I am sorry if this seems rough, I just tell it like it is. I will never eat there again.
