Then when we got there it did not get any better. Not a single smile in the place. So we put our name on the waiting list but the guy could not tell us what the wait time would be. He did not even want to give us an estimate. We actually left to go home but my friends called 40 minutes later and said they just got a text saying they had a lane open. So we drove all the way back. The bathrooms were dirty. The whole place looks like it needs help. Even the ceiling tiles are dirty and stained. The allies are very close. In my pictures you see a chair that you can sit in but it is not for an adult because you cannot get around the person easily to get to the bowling start point. So we had to stand and we were on top of each other. We had to become friends with the people next to us so we could spread out and have room to stand. We enjoyed each other so we had an ok time but We ALL agreed that we will never go back there again. THere are other bowling allies . I do have one positive thing to say The snack bar person was nice. We got a pitcher of soda and she was happy and trying to make sure our drink had the perfect amount of ice.

It's the amazing human beings that run it and also call it their home bowling alley which make it an amazing bowling experience. They saved me from myself during a difficult period in my life along with my faith of course, but without the people at Pinboy's I don't want to think where I'd be. There are 8 courts so there's plenty of room without much of a wait. On the day we arrived only half were in use. Pretty good for a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Amenities: Practice Wall: The five court area has wood wall to practice both fore and backhand drills. Restrooms: The park has a permanent restroom structure but since neither I nor my wife used them we can't comment on their cleanliness. Parking: More than Abundant parking to allow for single or doubles play at each court. Shortfalls: I didn't see any drinking fountains so be sure to bring a cooler of water and such. There also aren't any benches in the court area so if you want to rest between games then bring a folding chair...and an umbrella if you want refuge from the sun. Overall: excellent set of courts that are under used, which works great for us because there's no wait! All-in-all this is a 3.5 but I'm rounding up because of the condition of the courts and lack of wait.

My experience is solely from my recent encounter at their rev omega event. The staff at check in and gun rental and check out for purchasing products as well as the floor. Staff assisting me in choosing proper eyewear, etc. were beyond friendly, amazing people, and so personable you could easily imagine having at length conversations with any one of them. The staff on the field, the People, ensuring that everyone is having a good time as well as following the rules, as well as ensuring that everybody is staying healthy were outstanding. Also personable. They were caring, kind, and interesting. They were interested as well. Sharing stories from previous events, sharing, anecdotes of Ofield actions, as well as things that have happened in the area. Fishing adventures on the pond. Everybody was amazing. The role players in this event, I do not know if they are employees, or if they are just friends of the event, but they were all truly amazing. Swamp sniper, the person most people come out to see, though I can't honestly say if that's true, but in my experience, we came in because of my sons longtime following of his YouTube channel, was awesome. He was so friendly, he was so eager to offer advice, he was super kind. When I made a mistake, he was just an all-around genuine guy. I can't say I can make it here yearly but we'll do our best.

I was invited to Ballahack Airsoft by a friend for his son's birthday. What an absolute BLAST! I…read moreused to play paintball and airsoft when I was a teenager. I did not realize how much of a sport it had grown into. After a near 30 year hiatus this was a fantastically fun way to get back into the sport and now I'm hooked! Ballahack has a sprawling outdoor arena complete with multiple ConEx style structures. There is a larger village around the middle of the site. The staff is polite and courteous. The location is family friendly: they ensure no cheating, and cursing/ foul language is heavily discouraged. A day pass with equipment rental will run you a little north of $60.00 per person. For that you get a decent airsoft rifle, a full face mask, and a kit with, "dead" rags and barrel covers. In my opinion, it's worth every penny. Ballahack also has a pro shop to purchase your own gear and weapons, or have your own equipment worked on. There are snacks for purchase, and food trucks usually find their way out around lunchtime. There are on site restrooms, as well as port-a-potties for guests to use. I loved my visit! I definitely plan on going back!

What a transformation from the old to new Golf Galaxy Performance Center with now a Town Center…read morelocation. The spot is in the newly renovated shops across from Town Center that was formerly a Bed Bath and Beyond. The store will be in a strip with Trader Joe's soon to open next month and ABC liquors. No issues with parking at this point. The new store opened this week with Grand Opening this weekend, the kick off at 9 AM Friday will give 100 lucky customers gift cards worth up to $500. Through the weekend there will be fun with closest to the pin contest to win prizes. I was greeted by an army of friendly staff eager to help. Staff explained the layout of the store. Men's merchandise to the left, women to the right. The performance center is in the rear where you can practice your drive with interactive screens. They also have a designated pro's room that customers can hire. The displays were magnificently laid out. All the major golf brands are represented. They have everything and anything a golfer could dream of wanting including a pro shop for service including grips. I plan to come back this weekend with more time and hope to score on a few prizes too! Every single staff I ran across engaged me in a helpful way. Expect Golf Galaxy to be a force in Virginia Beach.
