I did not know they have an archery range here!! Otherwise, I might have invested in a compound bow years ago! Check-in was easy. I had to fill out a waiver since it was my first time shooting here at this range. You just go to the kiosks to the far left of the check-in counter. Be sure to have your Driver's license/ID with you because you will need it to type in the number when you check into the kiosk for the waiver. Plus you will need to turn it in at the check-in desk while you're in the range. You must have safety glasses and ear protection before entering the range. If you don't own any you can purchase safety glasses for $4. My brother loaned me his ear protection and he brought his own guns and ammo. You can purchase from a variety of targets that are against the wall to the right of the counters. Just state which number to the staff. They will give you a stapler to attach to the board in the range. Holy cow! Gunfire can get EXTREMELY LOUD and jolting in there depending upon who is firing what in there. Some dude was firing a weapon that felt like it shook the range and jolted my body. My brother told me what it was they were firing but I forgot. Me and this teenager laughed and looked at each other because MY GAWD, the sound and pressure of that weapon felt like a sonic boom. LOL. They have staff inside the range to change out the back boards if needed and to sweep up the shells to prevent tripping as well. Restrooms are available as well with many multiple stalls and were very clean.

Been driving by for a while and have meant to come see it and check things out. Last summer was crazy with travel and I was never home long enough to establish a routine. This summer, we're home and we finally made it over and have joined. There are tons of pickle ball courts, with more on the way. They have cameras set up to check the courts, and weather, and linked with multiple apps to sync up with others or drop-in play for the day. This location has plenty of parking and lighted courts at night where you can play well into the night without a set stop time (it says until last member leaves presently). They also host several tournaments here with cash prizes for the top 3 in each category. There are several membership (annual/monthly) options for single or families and Jim, the one who runs the office, is super nice and friendly and accommodating. They have rackets for sale inside you can try out for a game or two and borrow until you find what works for you - and they're very easygoing and friendly. Pickleball is a fun sport and seems to welcome all members and levels of play and it's a good workout. I'm in!

SO MUCH FUN! This…read morewas our first zipline experience, and this place went above my expectations. My 9 year old was close to the weight limit and our guides let her do a few to test. Luckily we were able to go the whole way and we are so thankful - she can't stop talking about how much fun it was. Our guides, Mr. Bob and Mr. Kim were encouraging for everyone, especially one member of the group who was pretty scared and she also made it the whole way. They also kept encouraging my kiddo, which I think added to her bravery It was overcast so not a sun issue but it was humid because of the type of environment. Make sure to hydrate! There was a water station half way through. Also, bug spray is recommended. Some of the group didn't wear any and got a couple bites. Also comfy loose clothing and closed toe shoes. Overall I think this was exactly the place we wanted - it wasn't some commercial theme attraction but a real zipline experience. We will go again if we visit the area again. Lines vary in height and challenge, none too scary for our family members of varying ages. Jimmy and Sean were great guides: initiated icebreakers for getting to know group members, reviewed safety rules before and during obstacles, assisted and helped every person get geared up. Nothing like being outdoors with family, cruising swiftly at treetop levels. We loved the dual line race, mom v dad / sis v sis / bro v bro. Of course wifey "beat me" (I intentionally pushed off late - duh!). They constantly tweak courses and line speeds to balance safety and adventure level. Total price was steep for my fam of 6 ($375), but hey, it was a "yes day." Recommend offering a family price to entice more family groups. That said, I'd do it again...after my bank account recovers from first yes day!

Since I didn't go in with intentions to bowl I didn't bring any, but was able to get a free pair since my cousins benefit applied to everyone in the party. The socks are actually cute (to me). It was very busy on a Friday evening and the crowd seemed to be teens and adults. Very few small kids. The servers come to the lanes to take orders, and the tablet at the bowling lane has a button to press for their help. Since it was taking long, we just ordered drinks from the bar nearby. The food, ordered later was simple, but good. -Sunset strawberry sangria is good, but could use more strawberry flavor. - Mozzarella sticks are no different then what you'd get at the grocery store and for the price the amount given isn't enough. - Wings, got a double order, 1/2 sweet chili, 1/2 garlic parmesan. I've often seen the latter on menus and steered clear because it didn't sound appealing. However, since it was ordered (for the group) I figured I'd give it a try. It was Soooooo good that I before I left I placed a to go order. Servers and staff were overall kind, but very busy. Lots of running and trying to take care of everyone. We arrived around 10 minutes after it opened and it was already starting to get busy. You can pay to play at the desk next to the bumper cars which is closest to the ropes course, escape rooms, axe throwing and go kart racing. They do offer military discounts with an ID, just ask. They will give you a ball color of your choice for game use when you pay. Clubs are at the entrance to the right of the golf course along with the score cards and pencils on the wall. I love how they have a place at each hole number to place the score card and pencil which also provides a surface to write down your score. The course is under black lights which the edges of the course are outlined. 9/2024 This was pleasantly fun! However, it was multi -sensory overload for me the moment I walked in. We were there to celebrate my niece's birthday as a belated birthday treat for her & we had family come in out of town, who also recently had a birthday. If you do research on their website you will discover they have A LOT to do! But like everyone has mentioned activities are individually priced. I feel like the more you book, the more you should get some combo discount. They do offer 15% off for military with an ID, but not online. Caveat - It's only in person with proof of ID and you can't come in earlier in the week or in advance and pay for attractions for the future and get the 15% military discount off. It has to be purchased & used on the same day for it to be applied. There are no military discounts on Dark Ride. Some attractions you need to book in advance online like bowling, escape rooms, axe throwing, & the simulators. Check their website for any changes. Saturdays are popular, so I signed a contract for advanced scheduled attractions so that my niece and cousin could participate in the activities they wanted, to prioritize & not be disappointed or waiting a long time to participate. You do get a discount if you do so but a signed contract & payment is due prior. You don't even have to come in person to do it. Either call or email for your inquiries and they can work something out for you. We didn't book a party although you can do that but a food minimum is required and a reserved room is only for 45 minutes. Skyla, one of the events coordinator made things super easy & convenient to book. She was very helpful answering questions. I had never been so I wasn't familiar where attractions were located. Once I found out, I planned all the activities on the same floor back to back for convenience & chose available times that were roughly 30 minutes apart. We just showed up, checked in at the desks located close to that attraction. Silas, one of the managers came to greet me and informed me where to go. He was pleasant and willing to answer any questions. We did the 30 minute Zombie Research Lab escape room. You want to check in 20 minutes prior to your reserved time. It was fun and we broke out with 7 min & 22 seconds left with a group of six. They have quality props and hints pop up on the tv monitor. Four of us participated in the ropes course. You're allotted 15 minutes to do whatever elements you want. They make you empty out all your pockets for safety since you're 40 feet above the ground over the bowling alley. I'm not sure if it was because we booked it as a group under a contract that it was only the 4 of us at the one session, but that was nice. There were maybe one or two elements that were challenging. But it was still fun! Our 3rd activity was axe throwing which is a flat fee regardless of the number of people, max of 6 per lane for an hour. Darrel was our instructor and he was fun! We really enjoyed ourselves and with some of us he really tried his best to help land some throws but some just couldn't. There were alot in our group that didn't participate but they were able to enjoy us throwing axes. My niece was killing it with her throwing skills. Our last activity was an hour of bowling. These are time sensitive so you better arrive 15 min earlier to get your rental shoes and pick your ball. We did the VIP lane which is an additional price but great because there are only 4 VIP lanes and they are away from the rest of the lanes. You can still see lanes 5 and on but there's a glass wall in between & it's a lot quieter. The seating is comfortable and enough to fit six people. Bowling is also a flat fee for an hour or more up to six people. Plus an additional $5 pp for shoe rentals. But if you have a military ID you can get up to six shoe rentals for free. You can also order food at your lanes but I don't think anyone came by to take our order. Unless someone in our group went up & ordered. Overall we spent from 2pm -7pm there. We even squeezed in a hologate game of Zombie Resurrection which is an adventure in itself!

We did the black light room filled with glow in the dark paint, paint filled water guns, and a Bluetooth speaker where we jammed out to 90s bangers while splattering the wall, canvas, and each other. It was a messy fun stress reliever. Extremely fun. They supply the shoe covers, glasses, and coveralls but I'd still suggest wearing items you're ok with getting paint on. It's a cheaper paint and seems it would come out with a good wash but I wouldn't risk it. The service was good too, there was an issue where our reservation wasn't showing on their end but the woman in the front was able to make sure everything went smooth. She did se pretty busy since it sounded like all the rooms were filled and there were a lot of people exiting their rooms with huge grins on their faces. 10/10 before and after pictures show how much fun we had

It was so fun being creative, energizing, and surprisingly therapeutic! They offer the garb to be covered head to toe. We got a few extra paint cups and two 5x7 canvases. They even had a blue tooth speaker for us to blast our 2000s hits. While I definitely got a little in my mouth / on my face, it was totally worth it.

This time I stayed at the blackbear Inn which is nice but not as nice as the Inman Lodge just a few hundred feet away. The Inman is 2 man rooms & has a food vending machine, ice machine, soda machine & a nice laundry room that is free to use (actually both have that) Theres a pool table at the Inman but it costs money to use unlike the one over at the blackbear which has drop pockets so that one is free to use. Both lodges have nice courtyards to cookout in & just straight up chillax during your downtime. One wing of the blackbear is 4 man rooms & community showers/bathrooms you have to walk down the hallway to get to. The other wing is 2 man rooms that you share a bathroom/shower with an adjoining room so a tad bit nicer. Both lodges also have dvd's & movies & stuff to sign out & watch in your rooms or in the common areas but every room does have a tv with cable & wifi so thats pretty badass aint it?. Both lodges have super dooper awesome coffee always ready to drink with badass creamer available too & fridges to keep your food & drink in. The staff do an excellent job of keeping the rooms & the entire building clean, its not trump tower but its still very nice & comfortable so I dont mind staying here at all. The chow hall is always excellent with tasty delectable food & drink for EVERY friggin meal! Lots of ranges to shoot on that police/military/contractors from all over the country come to train & even from other countries. Each building also has a small gym which is nothing special but it definitely gets the job done. What a super crazy enjoyably fun amazingly incredible bitchin' badass place to stay!

I was lucky enough to know someone who worked here and got me on to the premises and allowed me to shoot their guns. Their shooting ranges are out doors and there are many of them. This is normally a Law Enforcement/Military training ground with some civilan courses in gun safety and marksmanship training. Off in the distance I could hear the automatic gun fire that some of the Navy Personel were fireing off. I asked if I could shoot an automatic and was declined because you have to be in Law Enforcment or in the Military. I would love to come back here again some time soon.
