The problems started immediately. I gave my name as Ashley, and even scanned my Starbucks app, which clearly shows my name as Ashley, yet they called out "Ash." While not a huge issue on its own, it added to the overall lack of attention to detail. The biggest issue was that both drinks were made hot instead of iced. When I told the barista that we had ordered iced drinks, her response was, "That doesn't say iced on the receipt," instead of apologizing or trying to understand what happened. I had placed my order directly at the counter, so the order was entered incorrectly. Finally, instead of the cup of ice I requested for my Poppi, I was given a cup of ice water. I understand that mistakes happen, especially during busy times. What was most disappointing was the lack of friendliness and the dismissive response when the mistakes were pointed out. As a Starbucks Gold member who visits Starbucks frequently and spends a significant amount there, I expect the same level of friendly customer service and care that I've come to appreciate at most other Starbucks locations.
