I can get my coffee here just as I would make it at home, which is made with Two Rivers' house-roasted beans of course! I do not however, have iced coffee ice cubes at my house as they do here. Um, AMAZING!! Talk about going the extra mile for their coffee people! Beyond the excellent coffee and accoutrements they have here, the place is tastefully and minimally decorated. It's perfect for bringing a friend to chat with or your laptop to get some work done. The best part: it's located in historic downtown Portage and is family owned and operated. It's owned by the nicest young couple of whom will be your friends in no time! These guys make it! There's a rotating offerings of baked goods from strawberry basil cupcakes, raspberry key lime, carrot cake and ginger. The chai tea latte was on the spicier side which I appreciated. My husband and son stopped by this spot without me one morning and brought me back one of their smoothie bowls, which was outstanding. But, then, I tried the butterfinger protein shake my husband had ordered and was blown away. For their large (which is huge), it was somewhere around 50 grams of protein and just 300 calories and tastes like a butterfinger shake. I've spent the last few weeks since getting home, trying to replicate this recipe at home. It was just that good. We went another time and my husband and son got their brownie batter protein shake which they didn't enjoy quite as much as the butterfinger (though still good, just a little more protein shake tasting). It's just one person working in here so it can get a little backed up but so worth the wait. Get to it!
