We went on NYE and surprisingly we hit it at a good time between the two celebrations. Somehow we lucked out with one of the two buses to sit in. Our littles loved it, food was fast and larger portions than we anticipated which allowed for lots of leftovers. Choices for everyone. A plus is the kids food comes in little vehicles; cute idea! Live music, cool atmosphere, and fun for all ages! I will say though, my husband who is hard of hearing got a $34 beer on accident as he couldn't hear the bartender and they put it in a souvenir cup that he didn't want. Sooo so much fun for our little one! She went in all the buses and pretended to drive. All the kids there were having a good time running around to check out everything. The coolest thing to see is the huge greyhound bus above the bar (that you can sit inside!). The food was good too - burgers. Our little one's food came in a car box that was also fun. This is a fun place to have food in Dells. The place gets packed very quickly. I stopped by on a Friday afternoon. The place was not fully occupied at that time. I climbed steps into a bus which is a floor above. It is a fun place especially with kids. There are buses and vans for them to pretend play. There are multiple food vendors in the place. Food was also surprisingly good. Amigos, which is in the truck in the entrance was my favorite. I got oreo overdrive shake, 3 empanadas and an arepa from here. All were excellent. For empanadas, I went for one each of beef, chicken and cheesy corn. Beef was my favorite, others were good as well. I had chicken and beef arepa. Perfect spot to sit outside and listen to great music and watch the Mt. Olympus fireworks on independence Day (2025). There are plenty of spots to choose from for a drink and food. Got into the Dells and went looking for a quick bite to eat and a drink. Found the Grateful Shed and ordered from Cluck Yeah and it was exceptional. The chicken cobb salad was a very nice size with generous toppings and one of their pizzas had a nice fluffy crust and a fantastic amount of cheese and pepperoni. The family and I were in the Dells late last year and I wanted to leave my review because we have good memories of this place. We went here after a day at the parks, so we got here late, around 9:30. Definitely a unique stop in the Dells area. They have a bunch of food trucks inside this large garage that also has arcade games, TVs and music. Didn't notice it until after chatting with the bartender that the happy hour on weekdays is from 4:20-6:20pm. Got 1/2 off beers so not bad. It was nice that we could both get something different for dinner. I tried the taco dinner from Pasqual's (3 street tacos with side of potatoes) and it had good flavor and plentiful toppings. Liked the salsa verde on the side. You also grab your food yourself so there isn't much in the way of staff walking around. Husband liked his pepperoni pizza and it was a good sized portion, too. Only gripe is the online menu differs from what's available there (showing more taco choices buttered were only 3 or 4). A must stop if you are visiting the dells! This is a vibrant, unique spot with a bar and various indoor food truck options. There are plenty of TVs around and many fun drinks and tap beers to satisfy your desires! While me and my wife were over in the Wisconsin Dells we wanted to have a place to go to that was fun and exciting and this place popped up in my recommendations and it looks really cool so we came by and checked it out. Cousin eddys had a Jamaican special with jerk chicken and a few sides. I love Jamaican food so thought I'd give it a try. Unfortunately it was not a great choice. There was no jerk flavor at all to the chicken. The chicken was fairly moist and had a pretty good grilled flavor but as to it being jerk chicken you would have never known. It came with a Jamaican bbq sauce that reminded me of bw3 Asian zing with that sweetness and a bit of chili for some heat but very faint. They must have run out of festival and plantains as it was advertised on the screen but instead you could choose two sides. I chose rice and beans along with potato salad. I have not been to Wisconsin Dells in like 20 years -- wow is it different! The only positive addition I will say is "Grateful Shed". This place is very "insta-worthy" with fun seating options, multiple menus (including a bar), campfires at night, and something for everyone. I discovered The Grateful Shed in 2020 via an internet search. I bailed on the search after seeing "food trucks" and figured it'd be good enough if we made it there. I presumed it would be a dirt field or parking lot of food trucks and was surprised to find it to be a permanent fixture, a standalone building on one of the main Dells strips, a food court disguised as food trucks, owned by this place. It's a great place to bring a family, with an upbeat atmosphere and interesting concept. Food trucks are the hook, all a fixed part of this venue (not moving in and out and about like this Madisonian is used to), indoors (with open garage doors for an indoor/outdoor vibe), with different types of quick serve food. You stand in line to order from and pick up from each truck. The place to go when one in your group wants tacos, one wants ice cream, one wants adult beverages, etc. You can sit outside at picnic tables for more chill, or inside in a bus or in a van, etc. We ate in the raised to the ceiling Gratehound bus (having survived one cross country trip in a Greyhound bus - love the play) the first time. VW bus a dining option or just take your pic in one. Future visits we learned to eat outside because its quieter. You can play bags. Kids have room to move and adults can kick back. Live music from a local on a weekend. I've been here in the summer in the noon to 9pm range. Site says open until 2am and seems a DJ comes in for adult vibe time. I don't look at the prices when I come here. This is a tourist town and there's amenities at the Shed to support. I'm sure we spend $20 per person at least. Food is made to order, fast, sufficient, but it's not high end local cuisine. You're coming here to have quick serve comfort food and some fun. Been here several times over the past three summers so wish my check ins were showing! Both friends I brought (a few times each) I have caught raving about the Shed to their friends and they made separate trips so trust me, try this out! Pro tip: Get the souvenir cup from the bar. We come to grateful shed every time we're in the dells. We have two toddlers so finding actual kid friendly places is hard, but this one hits the mark for them. Food they like and places for them to run around/play without judgement. Overall it's a nice place to eat, with a variety of foods for everyone to enjoy. The bar area set in the middle of the shed and there is seating both inside and outside the shed as well. Also look for some special seating, like inside the Greyhound or the Volkswagen Bus. I got some BBQ ribs and chicken from Amigos Dells and I really like the ribs. Their BBQ sauce is slightly lean into the sweeter side, but the ribs itself are super tender.
