You're walking along the desert plains...along Nacogdoches Rd, when suddenly, over the horizon, you spot a sign...or is it? You squint, and rub your eyes to make sure that it isn't a mirage. You realize it's not. You have stumbled onto an oasis of refreshment! As you step through the doors and feel that blast from the air curtain, you have arrived. As you survey the area, you spot an endless array of bubbling fountains, as far as the eye can see...a nirvana...nay, a Teavana. No, strike that. I must be thinking of a different tea place that no longer exists. Where was I? Oh yes, the infinite fountains of flavor; from the sweetened to unsweetened, the flavor combinations are endless. I have heard rumors that there are 502,789,463,081,222 flavor combos that you can try. I have visited multiple locations around the greater San Antonio area in the year that I have lived here, and I have tried approximately 2 flavor combinations. So, I guess I have my work cut out for me. There are plenty of sizes to choose from, 5 to be exact. 24oz, 32oz, 40oz, 44oz (foam cup), and a 51oz. You can also get gallon sizes as well. Mini, Half, and full Gallon. Also, they have some of the most luxe ice around. Myself, I prefer no ice in my drinks. (I like to get my money's worth) You can also add fresh fruit mix-ins: lemon, lime, and/or orange slices, as well as cherries. One thing that I would love to be able to see is, maybe set out some flavored creamers or syrups, as to enhance the experience, by being able to customize your own drinks. Probably too much of an ask. But, the suggestion has at least been made. Also, just in case you need your coffee fix, they got you. As well as hot chocolate, hot tea, snacks, lip balm, and they even have bulk water and ice available for purchase, not to mention plenty of branded merch. Overall, this a definitely a great place to come and quench your thirst. In my experience, the staff has always been friendly, as they greet you when you come in, and usually thank you for coming in and invite you back. Every location that I have been to has been spotless and well organized. Thank goodness I never have to travel too far to have my beverage needs met.

I was so pleased to see many people stop by to celebrate with them. The trailer is so cute. Their whole aesthetic is so nostalgic. They have a red retro fridge in the trailer and their merch gives high school varsity vibes. They sell shirts, sweaters, stickers, etc, and of course, their coffee and matcha. Most trailers and trucks will serve your drink in a to-go cup but when I ordered my cortado they offered to serve it in a ceramic cup! How cool is that? It made my experience much more enjoyable, because cortados tend to pick up that paper cup flavor. Their espresso-based drinks are as delicious as I remember, and I also ordered an iced Pooh Bear. It's just as tasty iced as it is hot. I can't wait for Calico Coffee to thrive in their new location. If this is around your stomping grounds, do yourself a favor and come visit. It's like a mangonada but watermelon. Cheap as well. People complaining about wait times we have gone three times now and two out of three times it was empty so very quickly . One time it was busy and we had to wait about 20 min but it's understandable it was only one guy people need to chill. Sit down and be patient. Great place definitely found my dessert place when craving something sweet.
