A person wearing a maroon sleeve holds a large iced coffee from Java Jo's in a clear plastic cup with a logo, inside a car. The background shows traffic and a cityscape through the windshield, with a blue sky overhead.

good coffee i would probably try another location , had a bit of a wait even though there was only one car in front of me

This is how much we love Java Jo's.

The fact that I received a notification from another location based service on my phone yesterday that stated that "having 300+ check-ins at this place made me a big deal," should give you an indication of how much I love this place. Murray is a desolate place to find good coffee, the other establishments around are mediocre at best, and Java Jo's is somewhere I would drive miles for just to get a good cup if I needed it. However, it's not just the coffee that make this place great, it's the people that work there. The girls (and occasionally two fellas) are fantastic. They are always happy to see you, always fast, friendly, and welcoming (which is quite the achievement in a little hut) and the coffee (LavAzza) is always perfect. I generally order an 8oz soy latte for $2.50 (8oz is a standard coffee back in my home country), and they will fill any reusable cup that you might want to bring along, too. Java Jo's has several locations, but this one is my go-to as it is so close to work, and you'll often see me here multiple times in a day when the work load is just too much to bear ;) So next time you're in the area - or you just want to be - go see the hut and experience what real coffee and service is like.

What else can I say about this beloved coffee shack, other than it's Jo on the go perfection. I tell ya there's plenty of coffee spots all over the valley and plenty of good cups of coffee to be found. However, Java Jo's does it better than anyone! I am in love with this little shack. They're always, busy so make sure you have a few minutes to wait in line (really though even if it's like 5 cars only minutes) it is certainly worth the wait! The barista's are always friendly, and very knowledgeable, if you have questions don't feel intimidated to ask, they're happy to help! P.S. You will never go wrong with an extra huge caramel macchiato (i like mine with an extra shot) it'll set you right!

Addicted to the iced chai tea. So much better than Starbucks or Beans and Brews! I've never been disappointed here!

They looked pretty legit so we went and checked them out. Walking in, this joint is really neat. There's coffee bags lining the ceiling. There's a couple old chairs that you can chill at in the corner surrounded by plants. The light was shining brightly through the windows. It has a very chill, easy vibe here. We got a couple drinks ordered and a CaBreezy panini started. I got myself an iced americano with sugar free vanilla and room for cream. My sister got a hot peppermint mocha. We chilled at the 2 big old chairs while our goodies were being prepared. My drink was so good! I did add a packet of Splenda and some cinnamon to my coffee, so tasty!! I appreciate that my americano wasn't watered down. I didn't get to try my sister's drink but she said it was really good! We did share the CaBreezy panini. It was delicious! It was balanced pesto, balsamic glaze and mozzarella. The tomato was fresh and ripe. The ciabatta was warm and crispy. I probably could have had another half but we are trying to save room for dinner. It was nice chillin here for a bit. Everything was great. The barista that was working did a great job on our drinks and food. Happy I got to check out this local coffee joint on this beautiful Sunday.

The barista was super nice and greeted us as "friends" which I thought was so friendly. My latte was hot and super good! The place got really busy throughout the time that I was there but it seemed like people didn't have to wait too long. There is a lot more seating outside so would be a good spot to go when it's warmer out too!

I ordered the snickers in hopes it would be sweet but not overpowering. Maybe that was my mistake. I saw it and I was already nervous. The entire drink was dark brown. It looked like chocolate milk. Which idk, maybe that's what it's supposed to look like, but oh my goodness I couldn't even taste the extra shot of espresso I ordered. Literally straight hersheys syrup. So I poured half of it out, added some almond milk and it's still pretty concentrated. Idk I'm not the kind of person to veto a place for making one bad drink, but I like my coffee to taste like coffee lol. Hopefully next time I go it does! In other news, the raspberry muffin was yummy!

Immediately I liked the vibe-it's an edgy, totally local and co-created space with folks from the area. There is a bulletin board in the vestibule with fliers and posters about current events and services-totally haphazard and chaotic. Inside, there's art all over the place, unique decor and a calendar of events that look to be different support groups that meet here. How cool. This isn't a polished, bougie or uptight place. This is for real folks with real personalities and a bit of grit. And I like it. The coffee's pretty good too. ;-)
