Cambridge Pizza initially sounded like it was some in-town eatery with a rich, local history, but that was not the case. The place was very commercialized with all the similar aesthetics as to what you can expect to find in a Pizza Pizza or Little Caesar's. The menu was decent because there are a lot of food bundle choices you can go with. There are several ways you can mix and match an order of pizza, chicken wings, and garlic bread. I felt that our server was taking the easy way out in order suggestions by always pushing one of the order bundles to us (I think it was #5). I was able to observe this by overhearing the server also recommening the same bundle to an online caller who was placing an order. Good thing the food was great. The chicken wings come with all the usual sauce choices of honey garlic, BBQ, etc. There are a variety of pizza toppings, 2 of which are halal options: chicken and pepperoni. Their medium pizza was a good serving size, so we were still able to take it home. The pizza surprisingly still holds well with subsequent reheating in a microwave. It was not too hard and still retains its flavorness and juiciness even after the 2nd or 3rd heating.

I love Raman and ate it but it was not spaghetti. Spaghetti is not curly and the flavour was Raman. My husband's fettuccine came out a blob of stuck together pasta with no flavour. Throughout our meal we were swatting fruit flies away from our food and faces. I had a quick chat with Reza and Anna who were very proud of their product and explained how everything is done on premises from scratch - the dough, sauces, etc. They turned out to be owners of the place which explains the passion - an essential ingredient in cooking. Two concerns: with the price of $14-15 for a medium pizza the place is a bit spendy but you get what you pay for - and much, much more. Second - I would like to see regular forks and knives instead of the plastic ones - definitely not a deal breaker for me. I'm not coming to Kitchener too often but I will make sure to visit Rustic Slice again next time I'm there.
