After spending an hour on yelp sifting through a gazillion pics and reviews, Java became my choice of breakfast because of both vicinity to my hotel ( Marriott) and one amazing looking pancake picture by Alexandra C. Seven mins later we arrived , were seated promptly thank God, and subsequently placed our orders. Prices here are incredible for both the portion and quality . As for myself , I went with the Morning Grind ( 3 eggs and pancakes ) . I further customized my order to include peppers and onions and spinach in my eggs making and got it all scrambled and for the pancakes, I had them put bananas and strawberry's in both. All I can say is wow . I hadn't had something seemingly as simple as eggs executed so well . The veggies super fresh and diced to the perfect size mixed in with perfectly seasoned eggs. The pancakes ? Perfection ! Fresh ,not overtly sweet fruit all embedded in a subtle crispy ish outer layer of buttermilk goodness . The food was so good I forgot to take a picture. After Washing it all down with some as they call it, "Jamaican me crazy" hot coffee , I was energized and most importantly happy with the service I received ,having a perfectly executed breakfast and also to see my surging red Sox play a slumping jays at Fenway! . It's too bad they were off the following day (Monday)but anytime I'm near Boston , I'll be there ! read more

This is an absolute must to go if you like to have simple and affordable breakfast. They are very easy going and friendly staff, they still are pretty small but their care and concern for customers has really blown me away. I loved the veggie omelette sandwich with avocado. Excellent find Staff was friendly, service was great even though the place was packed. My wife had the eggs Benedict (awesome) and I had the French toast. Seriously, best French toast we've ever had. So the location is a little tough if you don't look you could miss it and unfortunately there is limited parking in front of the establishment We were on a pancake mission so we both ordered pancakes, eggs and coffee. The coffee was on par with Dunkin' Donuts with a little more coffee taste. I got the ice coffee and my GF got hot coffee. I asked for cream in the side and It was served in a dressing to go cup wasn't crazy bout it but it worked none the less just afraid of spillage primarily So we ordered our food and the pancakes came out in good time and my GF scrambled eggs came out although not visually appealing she did enjoy them. My eggs were MIA along with my English muffins so I basically killed off 3/4 of my pancakes before they finally arrived. pancakes were on point fluffy well cooked and light we enjoyed them completely my only advice build in them add more flavors and funky creations the standards are good but the cakes were on par with some chain pancake places but bigger they should capitalize on it Process were reasonable seating was tight staff was friendly and sociable making sure everyone was good to go .. we will be back for more cakes read more

I wouldn't waste my time or money here. The coffee was weak, and they're very stingy with refills with confusing mug vs paper cup pricing. Their bacon was thin low quality and tasteless, home fries were cold as was the toast. A poor value at a cost of $35.00 for two basic breakfast orders after tax and tip. We're in town for a graduation but it's also mother's day, so finding a good spot for a big yummy breakfast was going to be a challenge. I found Java on yelp and it had good reviews so we went for it. No regrets! I had a massive serving of delicious, thick French Toast work a side of crispy bacon. I ate my kid's scrambled eggs and they were really good. I can't tell if they cooked them in the bacon grease but they are so flavorful. Awesome breakfast spot! We're visiting and it popped up on Yelp not too far from where we're staying and it did not disappoint! I will be recommending to all visitors visiting my parents from now on. The breakfast bagel was amazing, super great flavor and a HUGE portion. American fries were the perfect crispiness. My boyfriend had the French toast and I couldn't believe how amazing it was. We didn't get a flavor, but we would next time. We both got iced coffees with flavors, him pistachio and me banana hazelnut. We didn't get sweetener or cream in either one and they were both awesome! Holy smokes- welcome to Flavortown. I found this place from doing a Yelp breakfast search while at spin in Woburn and I'm so glad I drove to Stoneham to check it out! Snagged a banana hazelnut iced coffee which is amazingly flavorful and a spinach avocado cheese egg sandwich on an everything bagel. It's AMAZING. And they wrapped it up so well that it was still piping hot 15 min later when I got home in Medford. Staff was very friendly and had a small biz cute feel. Found this place as my last day in town and it was great experience! Came in and the staff were great and really nice. One of the waitress Happened to tell us that the owner came in today to work the kitchen because their cook called out. So that pretty much gave me such a vibe about this place. Unsure if this place isn't used to table service or was just having an off day, but I only saw my waitperson once- when the order was taken. No checking how the food was, no refilling waters, and I had to walk up to the counter after 10 minutes of sitting at my table waiting for a check. Only thing that stands out are the scrambled eggs, because I had never seen eggs like this. They were coated in what I believe to be too much oil/butter, and this is going to sound weird, but it was as if they chopped them up. This is a great small little place to get some high quality food. We had breakfast, but they also serve lunch. We all had pancakes and they were phenomenal. They were crispy on the outside but airy and fluffy on the inside. (not all thin and dense). They had additions such as strawberries and blueberries and it was so different because they cooked the pancakes with the strawberries in them. And their eggs were great and you got choices of cheese to cook them with and we all agreed it was delicious. Their coffee was amazing!
