I stopped in for lunch on a busy but not overwhelming Saturday--restaurant was a little over half full. The restaurant was clean and welcoming. Service was polite and effective, I ordered and got what I wanted pretty quickly. The staff seemed to be working well and not too stressed, so I think they have settled in from the opening jitters. I had the half sandwich and soup combo, with a Beefeater and chicken pot pie, chips and a drink. The Beefeater is their version of the French Dip. My sandwich was quite good--the beef was very tender and the cheese was well-distributed, so the sandwich held together when I dipped it in the au jus and took a bite. I hate it when the roast beef is stringy and pulls out. The au jus was fine, appropriately salty. The chicken pot pie was a cute presentation with the little pastry pillow. Tasty but might have been slightly underseasoned, or perhaps that was the contrast with the au jus. The free ice cream and drive through are nice touches. The restroom was clean and functional. atmosphere is sub par, food not great, but the most troubling part of it all is the employees arguing and yelling at eachother over the intercom system. when this young girl came to give my food she was laughing over my food and then proceeded to laugh in my face when setting it at my table. she came back with another item, and proceeds to laugh, I ask her "what are y'all talking about in there?" she says "can you hear it?" as someone is yelling into her ear. word count limit- bad place. read more

Really an excellent Jason's Deli. A lot fresher than the one on 249 in Tomball. Food is always fresh and tasty. Worst this location has done is make watery chicken pot pie soup when they were swamped with customers. I think its probably the best Jasons Deli in Houston. read more

We frequent this location and have never had an issue. Our service has always been prompt, food as ordered, and the salad bar has been fresh and fully-replenished. The ice cream machine could use some work though. It seems to come out way too watery sometimes. read more

I've never dined in this location but I have ordered to go numerous times and always have a good experience. Thankfully I've never had to deal with any of the rude or incompetent employees that I've read about on here. I actually just order using their app so the only person I've ever dealt with is a high school/ maybe college age blonde female employee who I pick my food up from and she is very sweet and prompt. The last two times we've been to this location, the service wasn't that good. We had to go up to the counter to ask where the rest of our food was because they didn't bring it all. Also, when I went to get my salad and two side salads for my kids, I had to show my receipt which is ridiculous because I just ordered my food, and I shouldn't have to prove to you what I purchased, you should already know. Also they were not very friendly. The mac & cheese is not very good. The salad bar is pretty well-kept and has pretty good offerings. They are very pricey. The chicken noodle soup had minimal chicken and minimal noodles and was mostly just soup. They don't seem to have a very good system for conveying large orders to the staff that prepares them to make sure that every item is accounted for and delivered to the correct table. read more

I have never in my life been treated so rudely by a manager of a restaurant. I was here a couple weeks ago and i went to get some ranch from the salad bar. I genuinely didn't know i wasn't allowed to have the dressings. The manager practically runs up to me and tells me in an incredibly condescending manner "to stop sauntering up all casual like i had purchased a salad". I asked if he would give me some ranch then and he told me it was 75 cents. i don't mind paying 75 cents for it but i can't believe he made such a big deal of something so minor. I would've been perfectly fine with the interaction if he would have told me in a manner that wasn't so rude. he must have one sad life to lose his shit over some ranch at a low quality deli. read more

We have eaten at this location several times over the last year or so. The last time, they did not have several items on the salad bar replenished. We had to ask several times for them to please refill the empty containers. Today, we stopped in for soup and salad. We were told at the check out that they only allow one trip per person to the salad bar (wearing mask and gloves, of course). It was emphasized only one trip allowed (not all you can eat as before), but we were told that the price was reduced to compensate for that. However, it WAS NOT! When we mentioned this to the Manager on Duty, his attitude was so offensive telling us that inflation is everywhere, and hadn't we realized that everything was having a price increase?!? We agreed that everything is increasing in price, but that we had just been told it was a lower price to compensate only one trip. He would not acknowledge or listen to us, just kept saying we obviously did not understand inflation. We will not be back to this location!!! We also are telling our friends not to visit this one either. read more

Previously I gave this location a bad review, but I revisited twice lately and have seen a drastic change in everything. Their service is great. The tables are clean. I have visited this JD location a handful of times now. Always drive thru. The first bad experience wasn't terrible, they charged us for a meal but only gave us the sandwich (no chips). Tonight we came here (it's always my husbands first choice for sandwiches) and the drive thru person was not attentive. My husbands sandwich order was wrong on the screen from the beginning and he had to remind her twice to fix it. We ordered my gumbo as a bowl portion yet she entered it as a cup and had to be reminded about that as well. We both ordered teas, one sweet and one unsweet. That was a task in itself. It seemed like she just wasn't listening or she was preoccupied with something else... because we had to have her fix the tea order probably four times. The soup is usually good but tonight my gumbo was nasty. The (one bite of) shrimp tasted fishy so I took all of it out. We also were missing plastic wear/napkins/crackers. Not a huge deal but we definitely notice when that is forgotten. Customer service is just off here. read more

I just found this place while visiting family and it's all that. The lady Sharmeen was anything but mean, she knew everything about the store and the menu as well as being able hold a conversation with both my sister and I who were complete strangers to her. It was very welcoming. It made me appreciate the Texas Hospitality. So if you are ever visiting or passing through Spring Texas stop on by and grab a bite. Terrible customer service. Every time I go the order is wrong or something is forgotten. Literally EVERY TIME. The manager Chris is smug and simply does not care. We ordered a family diner 2 baked potatoes (no bacon) broccoli soup, a croissant and two cookies. No cookies in the bag, no soup in the bag and bacon on both potatoes. We literally have no dinner and the manager says - well we are still going to charge you for the croissant, really??? This place is the worst seriously. And the food looks old. read more

Stopped by a little later than I normally would. Wait wasn't very long, and service seemed ok. However, when I got our food home, I was incredibly disappointed! My "taco salad" had no more than 5 chips and they were ALL broken and probably another half a handful of crumbs thrown in. My "side" of guacamole was maybe a teaspoon size scoop (and that is a HUGE maybe). The container it was in had more empty space than filled space. Same for the sour cream. Also, the pasta was a bit mushy and the sandwich was just thrown together. I'm know it was late and people are ready to go home. But this is nothing like what I expect from JD. read more

I love Jason's and was very disappointed in the service here. Most of the staff (kids) have terrible attitudes and no knowledge of the menu. I asked about a lighter portion size of something I had never tried and was responded with "it's a smaller version".... I know this. I wanted to know how small the portion was and the guy shrugged. They brought the wrong order three separate times and my family was finished eating before I was able to get my proper meal. Not to mention my husbands Tea was straight tea with no water or sugar. Horrible. I most likely will not return and will drive to the woodlands location instead. I suggest going through proper training and customer service with the staff. read more
