I've lived here for 9 years going on 10. Really shocked that I haven't received this place. I am not huge on sandwiches but if I want an amazing sandwich this is the place! Really not sure why anyone would ever go to subway. This place is soooo much better! On so many levels. The staff is always friendly and fast. They do a great job here. The tables and lobby are always clean. They stay open super late! The club royale and California club are my favorites. The soups here are good. So are the Salads. The desserts are just as good. I've never had a bad meal here. They are consistently good. If I loved sandwiches I would be here more often. Always don't forget they stay open super late. Food is good, service is terrible. Placed an online order and it was a small order at that and it took them 20 mins after I got there to even start making it. Literally watched everyone place orders and leave. They had no one working online orders but, gave me excuses as to why it hadn't been pushed through yet. You'll have better luck dining in or placing your order in there instead of online, or choilosing a different location all together. AND here I was waiting telling people who had never dined there what some good options are...smh and I can't even get my order. read more

This is an unassuming high quality chain that makes soups and subs, if you haven't tried it. Everything from pasta to soup to sandwiches, this place is my go-to when I'm sick with a cold--because I know their chicken soup will be on point. Great any other time of year too. I absolutely love eating here. Their seafood gumbo is fantastic, as is their salmon sandwiches, my favorites! Their salad bar is plentiful, lots of goodies here! We tend to go here during non peak times. Their soda is made with real sugar from cane. All around healthy eating. read more

Not for one, and not for all. All locations are not the same. I always went to Champions location, and never had a problem. Then changed up. Started going to Jones Rd, and Spring Cypress. and my order was always completed too. Simple, if you type and are told no Olives in a chef salad, its understandable. The Big Chef was full of olives. Imagine trying to scheme through your salad like a scavenger hunt with "Thousand Island Dressing." How about pay for what you want and have to remove things out when you arrive home. So where was some miscommunications. Not so pleasing. Luckily my Lobster Soup and California Club sandwich made up for it. I'll start going back to the other location. We went to the reference Jason Deli today 8/17/19 at 5pm. The Deli was unbelievably dirty and 70% of the table had dirty used plates on it. We barely had any table to sit and had to wait for them to clean a table especially on our request. The Deli looked really bad with bad odor due to left over played left all over. Attached, please find some pictures so action is taken on this right away. I have also contacted the city food authorities to come inspect the deli and kitchen. read more

Great location. Located right in Champion Village, right next to European Wax Center. This location seems small when you first walk in (compared to the other Jason's Deli on 1960, near Jones Rd), but it's a fairly decent size. The employees were nice and their service was quick. As for any Jason's location, their prices are great and the serving portions are nice. Can't beat the self serve ice cream offered! Definitely recommend ordering the manager's special. read more

Look. Some training needs to be done on who ever slices the meat. When you slice corned beef or any beef you cut against the grain not with it. I'm left with a tough sandwich that kinda grosses me out when when I bite down and pull globs of rubbery meat off. Ordered the steak sandwich and it was inedible. The bread was so stale it fell apart and the "steak" was over cooked and full of grizzle. You couldn't even chew it. This is the second time I have ordered it so it is not just a one time thing. Won't eat here again read more

We usually go for lunch. I usually get the chicken club salad and husband gets the ceasar salad with the santa fe chicken. All are tasty and flavorful! I actually like their ceasar dressing! I doubt there is anything on their menu that could be messed up in anyway. I gave this location a three star because its always busy and the wait can be long and when you are trying to get in and out it can be a bit of a burden. Today alone, I watched one customer pay for another customer's meal becasue their names were the same (ummm), that was weird to me becuase they made sure my hubby "David" said his last name inital so they wouldn't get his order messed up. Once again, this specific JD did a great job on my catering. I order online, they send a confirmation email, and the delivery is made promptly and on time. I appreciate that as I do not like to keep my customers waiting for late food. When people think JD, they often think "sandwiches." Many people don't realize the breadth of their menu. Their hot wrap trays are a very good non-sandwich option. They also have pastas in bulk as well as a build-your-own salad bar if that is what you need. Order online in order to earn deli dollar points for free food on the future. All you need to do is set up an account with your email and you will start earning deli dollars. I use JD often around Houston for catering and I rarely have a problem with any location. This specific location has always done a good job. I get lunch from here a lot so I thought I would get my usual meal on a Sunday. Absolutely the worst I've had from here. I ordered the Sourdough chicken panini and asked them not to over toast the bread. The entire sandwich was cold. I got bbq chips and macaroni and cheese as my sides. They gave me regular potato chips in a make-shift plastic bag and the macaroni and cheese was grainy, cold and sour. I also ordered a bowl of Irish Potato Soup and the potatoes were not cooked thoroughly. I understand that we're in a crisis right now but that's no reason to just throw things together. Today I ordered my usual loaded Blt and Potato soup and usually it is very good and always over flowing with bacon and almost to big to eat but today it was awful. The BLT was pretty much bread. The sandwich had 2 small pieces of bacon on it and couldn't even taste it! Had one piece of lettuce and tomatoî and a in a tomato that you can hardly see I'm pretty much just ate bread. read more

I've been using this particular J's Deli for over 6 years. I'm a rep with the North Houston territory, so I provide lunch for my offices several times a week. I spend around (ok, my company credit card spends) over $10,000 at different J's Delis per year. So that being said, this particular J's Deli is awesome. I use their online ordering system, which is easy. I have an account set up, and I order my food the night before (although at times, I've ordered it that morning, called to confirm, and it's fine). I usually have the food delivered (and I ALWAYS add a nice tip, online, before I add the total, so the driver KNOWS they will get tipped! Important!). It's ALWAYS been on time. It's ALWAYS been fresh, exactly what I ordered, and they ALWAYS follow my special instructions (rarely do I have any, but still). Sometimes I come in to pick it up, and their "To Go/Pick Up" is quick and friendly. Again, always the right order, always the right food. I've even asked to speak to the manager so I can let him know how much I appreciate this. There are zillions of other places to order from. And yes, I've tried all the different places, as sometimes my offices want "something different". But you know what? Nervously waiting, biting my nails to see if it will get there on time, or unpacking the food and realizing something important is missing, is just not worth it. The food is fresh. It's tasty. They have tons of options. Sometimes, if my office wants "something different", I'll order the large pasta meal (about $11-12 per person), which includes a tray of pasta, ciabatta bread, a caesar salad, and a dessert tray. Throw in a gallon of tea (extra), and you've got a great meal. It will smell yummy when you walk in the door. PLEASE keep it up, J's Deli. I really like Jason's. It's a nice change for lunch every once from Panera Bread or McAlister's. They have a great salad bar and very yummy broccoli cheese soup. Very tasty sweet tea!
