Very small restaurant. We were a table of 8. The menu looked really good. Ordered the angry edamame to start. Tasty and hungry I forgot to take a pick when they brought it. Has a late spice but really good. I ordered the softshell drunken noodles. I ordered Thai hot but it was too hot for the spice queen. Wow that is HOT. Next time I would order it 4 instead of Thai hot. Food was flavorful and good. The temperature went from really hot or really cold. They kept opening and closing the door in the back and were in the back. Very small place but good.

Walked in and I was seated immediately. The staff were amazing. So nice, attentive, and thankful. We started off with the fried calamari for an appetizer. It was chilly night so I had to get some soup. I never can turn down pad thai. I asked for medium spice. I usually order that at Thai restaurants. This one was spicy! I do like spicy, but watch out! This medium has a kick!! The restaurant is small but cozy. The food came out speedy which I was surprised! They have a great menu selection! Make sure and stop in if you are looking for Thai and are in the area!

Loved this Thai restaurant. So good. Owners are Thai and their food is amazing ! Got our order to go. Staff was very friendly. Reminds me of my meals in Thailand. I love papaya salad and theirs doesn't disappoint. Complete with tomatoes, green beans and peanuts. The crispy duck salad was delicious. Noodles in the pad see ew were cooked perfectly. The duck noodle soup was amazing with a complex broth and perfect amount if spice. Also ordered bubble tea that was delicious as well. Fresh bubbles! Will definitely go back

Vegetable Fried Rice

The food was absolutely delicious! The picture shows the vegetable fried rice -- I especially loved how thoughtfully the veggies were cut and presented. You could tell a lot of care went into the preparation. I would have given 5 stars, but when we arrived close to closing time (my daughter had just gotten off work), the hostess initially seemed a bit displeased. That said, we were mindful not to linger, and she ended up being very kind and accommodating which we appreciated.

The wife's new favorite Asian and or Thai Restaurant is Jasmine Thai Kitchen. First, the service is great, and the small restaurant is very clean and pleasant. The menu is extensive and can make your decision of what to order a bit difficult. We started with 2 Fresh Spring Rolls. As the name implies the lettuce, cucumber, and basil were very fresh. The rice noodles had a perfect chew. I ordered the perfect Honey Duck with wonderful Crispy duck, pineapple, onions, and special honey sauce to die for. The dish was served with jasmine rice. The wife ordered Drunken Noodle Soft Crab. There was a huge portion of perfectly cooked Fried Soft-shell crab. The crab was served over Stir fried flat rice noodle with onion, bell pepper, basil, garlic and chili. Normally I do not recommend ordering Soft Shells out of season, but this place did it right. We will go back again and again!!

Curry puff appetizer

What a lovely bunch of folks running this restaurant! We arrived early, around 4pm, and had the place to ourselves. Several Thai places I'd looked up didn't open until 4:30, but this was the exception. I got water for a drink but my brother ordered their Thai tea, said it was heavier on the condensed milk side than the tea but he seemed to like it fine. We started with their curry puff appetizer: homemade pastry dough stuffed with chicken, onions, potato, garlic, black pepper, pea and carrot served with plum sauce. This was good, similar to an Indian samosa. For my entree, I was in the mood for soup and noodles so I decided to order the Tom Kha Noodle Soup: Rice noodle with mushroom, tomatoes, scallion and cilantro in spicy coconut milk soup. I chose chicken as my protein and this dish was comforting and the right combination. I got it 4/5 spice level and it was perfect. I had leftovers since the bowl was a generous portion. My brother ordered their yellow curry with chicken, mild spice, and liked it. Excellent service, very friendly and the gal was kind enough to box up our leftovers. Check this spot out!

This place was fine. Not the best Thai in town, but an okay option if you have a craving and aren't picky.

I suggested we try it. We made our 715 reservation. It was very busy at that time. When we entered, the restaurant seemed much larger, and I believe nicer than the older coast restaurant downtown. It wasn't long before we proceeded. We ordered drinks that came fairly quickly as that our appetizers. We ordered the basil roll. As well as the nam sod pork, lettuce, wraps. We thought the rolls were tasty, especially the dipping sauce. The lettuce wraps I felt were too acidity and missing other flavors. For the main dish, my wife ordered shrimp pad Thai. I ordered the basil duck. I hadn't had this in a long time and I thought it was very good. We felt my wife's pad. Thai was too acidity. Didn't have enough peanuts and was missing other flavors. It could've used more fish or soy sauce. Our service was very good. They were very friendly and prompt. Overall, it was good, but not as good as the other establishments in Charlotte or when it was downtown. If the service and atmosphere wasn't so nice I would've given it. Three stars for the food.

We only found dessert bars, ice cream shops and seafood places. This was the option that made the most sense for my vegan friend and me. Our server was so friendly and helpful. He anticipated me needing a bag, chopsticks, napkins to pack our leftovers. I half jokingly asked if he had Thai heritage and his answer was "not yet." Hahahaha. My friend got the crunchy garlic tofu dish and I got the roast duck noodle soup. Delicious. She finished every bite of her dish and I thought my dish had a generous serving of duck. Their house red chili oil was BOMB. There was almost no one else here so the atmosphere was super chill and intimate. Loved everything about it here! Portions were big and prices were reasonable.

As a vegan the menu is easy to navigate, and the service is above and beyond. We ordered a rice bowl with red curry tofu and subbed the vinaigrette for the almond tahini dressing. We also got the red curry tofu banh mi with vegan mayo. I also enjoyed the house made sweet tea which comes with unlimited refills. While waiting for our food Cameron was so hospitable continually checking in with our table. This is a casual business with no table service however the staff regularly checks in on the tables and are extremely attentive. My rice bowl was deliciously saucy. I also added some hot sauce for a little kick. I loved the variety of vegetables which felt like the perfect refuel after enjoying fun in the sun. My husband ate his banh mi so quickly I didn't have a chance to take a bite. Clearly that was a winner. The sweet tea was just the right amount of sweetness. I will definitely order this drink again next time. We had the best lunch at Bon Banh Mi and cannot wait to return again next year. The sauce was somewhat bitter and the bowl definitely needed something to kick it up a notches. Luckily my dining partner had ordered the vegan bowl and shared her vinaigrette with me. Also that peanut sauce for the spring rolls is tasty to give the bowl a little pep. The Taylor roll 8if you e never had it here)bead like a thinly sliced Spam and left much to be desired. The counter order and delivery was fairly seamless. They don't have much space for storage in the kitchen so they make use of the restaurant as a neat bodega styles feel. I do appreciate that they use Cafe during Monde containers for the silverware and that's what they use for their chickpey flavored tea as well

They're pretty quick with everything but one thing I would say is the inside of the restaurant looks more like a fast food joint than a restaurant, I would advise the owner to probably make it a dining experience and if they have a business next-door buy that business out so you can expand because it's very tiny for its location Other than that, my delivery experiences have been great and all my customers give great tips. I will admit to being on a bit of a high horse about restaurant up charges. however credit card up charging seems to be practiced only in the Charleston area. I am resentful of being gouged. in this instance, Tasty Thais base prices are on the high end of reasonable. so, I suspect they do not " need" to upcharge; they are doing it because it has become common practice and customers accept it. especially when it is well hidden.
