The food here is outstanding. The service is always wonderful. I do not have one negative comment about this great place. I am so happy this place is walking distance from our home. read more

We have always had good luck here! Service is good, food is great! They have their own off street parking lot, and is pretty handicapped accessible. Had the sushi for the first time today and it was really good. Ambiance is nice, not super fancy, but clean and comfortable with nice Thai decorations. Sorry the photos are half eaten. I thought I had already written a review, but realized a little too late that I hadn't. read more

Jasmine Thai is a go-to comfort food restaurant for me, for sure. I've eaten here several times and I'm always happy with my food order and service. Ample seating in their dining space and you could get away with not making a reservation. (They also do takeout!) Great food at great prices. I recommend the curries. read more

We got takeout on a Thursday night. Food 2/5. The curry fried rice was super dry, the rice overcooked and did not taste right. Thr cream cheese wontons were over fried and not yet burnt, but oil soaked. The potstickers also felt overcooked. The positive to this mean was that pad Thai! Very flavorful! Service 4/5: we got our food via DoorDash. It came on time and was warm. Overall, I'd get the Pad Thai again but everything else we did not like. read more

Nice Thai restaurant with delicious and authentic Thai cuisine! Service was friendly and quite prompt. The establishment was clean and had simple decor. We had the wontons and spring rolls for appetizers - both were delicious! We also ordered the chicken curry, chicken pad Thai, and chicken fried rice. We enjoyed them all - very flavorful, authentic and delicious!! We'll definitely come again! Highly recommended! read more

Update to my prior review. I came here again and truly cannot recommend enough the outstanding food here. The appetizers like egg rolls and chicken satay are fabulous. Pad see ew and red curry is amazing and their cheesecake roll is to die for. The service is friendly and atmosphere is warm and inviting. Run, don't walk, to Jasmine Thai! read more

We had dinner at Jasmine Thai when we were visiting family in Minnesota. Their cuisine is fabulous! Our dinner was two weeks ago on a very busy Saturday evening. They were extremely busy with takeout orders as well as having a full restaurant. Yet, we had excellent service and our food was fantastic! There were five in our group and four of us ordered curries and one ordered Pad Thai. I had the Panang curry with veggies and it was absolutely delicious! Seasoned perfectly and very tasty indeed! I highly recommend Jasmine Thai. They offer wide selection on their menu and all are prepared with fresh ingredients and seasoned on a scale of one to five for spiciness. The restaurant has its own parking lot so no need to park on the street. Jasmine Thai is truly a gem in Columbia Heights MN! read more

They have excellent egg rolls. The entrees are lacking flavor for me. I have tried a few things. It is fresh and tastes okay, just quite bland. Everything seems to barely have touched the pan and is missing the anticipated seasoned flavor. read more

I always enjoy a good Thai dinner and was not disappointed. I ordered fresh spring rolls and the vegetable Jasmine Thai Lo Mein with an egg on top. Delicious! The service was the best, and they aim to please. I'll be back to this hidden gem. read more

First time trying Jasmine Thai! It's now going to be our go to take out spot. Our fried rice and pad thai were so flavorful and they are accurate with their spice levels. The chicken satay was also delicious. The peanut sauce and cucumber complimented the chicken really well. We always ordered 2 cream cheese wontons that are not pictured because our kids ate them all right away Those were also very good. Right amount of filling and sweet chili sauce. read more

This place is phenomenal for so many reasons. The food is always fresh, no matter what you select from the menu. The flavors pack a punch AND you get to choose the spice level (0-4). The green curry had a perfect balance of sweet and spicy; portion sizes allowed for a meal the next day. The chicken satay sauces are to die for. The cucumber one was an unexpectedly PLEASANT surprise. The fried rice was perfectly salted with a good ratio of protein/vegetables. My 4-year-old niece wolfed down the spring rolls with dips and all. The tea is an orange dreamsicle, magical treat. The service is quick, accommodating, and friendly. Learning about the upbringing of this restaurant by the employees themselves brings on an even greater appreciation for Jasmine Thai. The restaurant set-up may benefit from an update, although there is plenty of seating for small and large parties. * Kid-friendly * Front parking lot * Outdoor seating * $ Fair pricing for great food!! read more

The food is so good! I got chicken lo mein on their lunch menu and I can't stop thinking about it. Will easily be back!

Omg! The food! We had amazing dishes that were new to us. We will be back for sure. The service was perfect too!

This place looks shabby from the outside, but when you walk in, It actually really nice. Definitely a place to try for those who want Thai food. The inside is has booth and tables and it looks cool. The services were really good. The waiter was quick and they brought out everything in a good pace. Toward the end, i was very thirsty, but they came by to fill my water. The food is good, very delicious and flavorful. The drunken noodle was greasy, but with the house soup it does cleanse the taste so it isnt so greasy. The drunken noodle was just enough; we order off the lunch menu. It came with the house soup. The pad kra pow was yummy. It doesnt have a strong basil taste, but it was there. The steam dumplings is basic. The eggroll was good, very different, it has a unique flavor. The dessert: the green tea ice cream was good, it is very different from other green tea ice cream . The cheesecake roll was good, but it wasnt what i thought it was. But it goes well with the ice cream. read more

I ordered a few items for delivery via Grubhub and was pleasantly surprised that everything was fresh and as ordered. The food was all super tasty. I can only imagine how it would be hot from the kitchen. I hope to experience that one day soon! The chicken is fried hard if you're into that and the green sauce is light and sweet in contrast to the fried chicken. The papaya salad was good, but needed some spice. There was no option to add a spice level in the app and I did not add an extra note about that. I would say my least favorite was the Tom yum po tak but I am super picky about that. The broth was flavorful but it was just lacking that extra something for me. I am a huge fan of Roat Oshas Tom yum if you've had that and this was not close. Still very good, don't get me wrong! I got 3 large shrimp in the small sized soup w chicken and shrimp $1 add on. The shrimp were really big so wasn't mad at only 3. I was a bit annoyed that there were pieces of galangal, lemongrass and basil stems to pick out. St least you can tell they used the real stuff lol. I also got sticky rice to tie it all together. I feel like I got a decent value for my money even after the inflated Grubhub fees and whatnot. And I will definitely be coming back and trying more items and get the full in person experience. read more

I had been wanting to try this place for a while, and I really enjoyed my dinner the first time I came. The fried rice was especially delicious. However, I returned a week or two later for takeout and the food just didn't quite have the same taste. Like many restaurants, I don't think you can count on quality control/ consistency here, and that can make or break your experience with the food. Second, I was a bit disappointed that the parking lot and inside decor was a outdated/unkept. I'm big on atmosphere and I didn't get the best experience for that here. The staff was nice both times but nothing remarkable: just your standard interactions. I'm undecided on if I will give this place another try any time soon. I do believe there are better Asian options. It was just ok read more

We love Jamine Thai! We have been coming to this location since it was Karta Thai, and since the ownership and name change they really have not missed a beat. Some of our favorites are Tom Yum soup, green or red curry, any of the noodle dishes, and we just tried the Tod Gra Tiam Pring Tai stir fry. It's basically the Thai version of Chinese beef and broccoli, but Soooo full of flavor! We got ours with pork. We also tried the more complex flavored Tom Yum Po Tak and we loved it! What we love also is that they have their own parking, which is actually a deciding factor for us when considering Asian fare around NE, where you pretty much have to go to Dinkytown and fight the crowds and parking. Service is always friendly and great, and we never have to wait long for our food. They also have large tables for group get-togethers. read more

Amazing curry and stir frys at this spot! Try the Khao Soi soup if you like coconut curry! Equally excellent with mock duck or pork (yes-I did both of them at different times because the coconut curry is sooo good). Great service! They now offer sushi (next time we will try it). Lots of takeout delivery guys coming in, so try to sit at a booth or table (not counter). Don't judge the restaurant by the outside-come in an enjoyable the atmosphere (very relaxed). read more

This has been my favorite Thai place for years. Everything I have gotten off of their menu has been great! This recent remodel has made it very welcoming inside and they have expanded their menu quite a bit! I have tried a TON of Thai places in the cities and this remains my preferred. read more

Ordered takeout through their website on a lazy Sunday. The Crispy Thai Lobster Rolls were 10/10! The Red & Massamam Curries were decent. Although I found them a bit watery, and there was no spice at all... ordering online it wasn't clear if it there was a way to request it. Rice was perfectly cooked and fluffy! The Creamy Iced Tea & Thai Iced Coffees were certainly creamy and delicious! I will probably give this place another try, but actually sit in the restaurant! The outside and inside look appealing and, bonus, there's alcohol & a patio! Easy takeout experience. Just walk up to the bar inside and request your food! They also have a parking lot. read more

Never a disappointed from this restaurant they are consistent and good every time please give them a try you will be happy I give them 5

5/5 based solely on their pineapple fried rice and Thai fried rice. The pineapple fried rice comes with carrots, raisins, peas and pineapple chunks mixed in. The Thai fried rice has the best tasting tomato slices, onion and carrots. Get your meal with shrimp and you won't be disappointed. Very juicy and flavorful. You can also get the rice spicy, spice level out of 5. I usually get a level 3 and that is hot enough to still appreciate the flavor. I always get my food to go but their dining room is very chill with friendly staff. I would recommend! read more

Still a great place to eat or get delivery/take out! Relaxed, clean restaurant that you can listen to wok music in the kitchen (not rock music-but rather the wonderful/skillful sound that the cook is making with his wok while creating your meal). We moved into the neighborhood in the Summer of 2020 and that's when my love of Jasmine Thai began. Their masamman curry is bomb.com (I have never used that phrase before in my life). Cashew stir fry is my other fave - the veggies are so fresh and the sauce is tasty and not spicy. They always get my orders right with no onions. I tried the Tom Kha Soup for the first time the other day and the broth was perfect, I loved it even though it had a teeny bit of spice! It's less creamy than others I've had but super savory and hearty. The veggie apps is the only area they could use improvement. The fried tofu is good but the tempura was poor and the spring rolls were nothing special. Staff is always friendly and orders come out super fast. read more

We live less than a mile from this restaurant - we wanted to love it! I will say we liked it...for the price, we expected more. We got three different things. They were pretty tasty overall but very luke warm and the egg rolls were cold and seemed to be sitting out for a while which we were not expecting. The cashew stir fry was mostly veggies undercooked and with tough pork. We even arrived before the estimated ready time. Less than pleased but hoping it was just a one time thing and will hopefully try again and change our mind. Love having a Thai option nearby. read more

Classic, charming, not too busy, and I don't mean with the decor! Delicious pad thai and great beer options!

Awesome service and awesome food. They are very kind and food is great. They gave me a 25% discount because my soup took a little bit longer than expected. I didn't even ask for the discount. Would recommend this place to anybody. read more

We were starving and got seated right away. Great service, fast delicious food! Loved that so many things could be made vegetarian/vegan.

Food tasted really good. Papaya salad was excellent. Fried calamari was excellent. Massaman curry sauce was excellent (except for the MSG) but the duck in the curry tasted bad. Khao soi was, at first, amazing. (except for the MSG) Then we figured out it was missing the vegetables that were supposed to be in there. Server said "all gone" when we asked about it. Service was kinda funny. The server was literally running from the tables to the kitchen then to the outside tables, to the bar, to the cash register , to servicing the many many takeout delivery people, and so on. We didn't get any usual service by the server, at all, other than seating us, taking our order, bringing our food and drinks, and running our credit card. That might be everything, you may say, but it's really not. They were seriously short- staffed, and they shouldn't sell menu items that they haven't got all the ingredients for. read more

Recently redecorated and upgraded, this is the best meal out I've had in a while. We were pleasantly surprised by their new sushi menu - so great! We had the Fuji and Dragon rolls... so delicious. The Fuji roll had the most tender beautiful salmon, tuna, and yellowtail piled on top. Of course, I never miss their lobster roll appetizer, and the fried banana dessert rounded out the meal and added creamy and crispy textures that had us coming back for another bite. Highly recommend! read more

Updating my review, because this place has become our go-to for Thai. Mainly because their Tom Kha is BOMB, and they offer a vegetarian eggrolls. YUM. Not sure why my places don't. Just be warned the eggrolls are tiny, and 3 to an order, so if you are trying to share with someone, you will be sad. Get two orders!! The Tom Kha is so fresh and fulfilling, most nights I would be happy with just that. So many fresh veggies, including delicious whole oyster mushrooms. It will cure what ails you! Now if they would only offer vegetarian dumplings, they would be my forever happy place! read more

Found out about this place on a whim with girlfriends. Although the service was slow (that 1st time) the food was EPIC! So so good! Went back with my boyfriend and again, delicious! Pad Kra Prow w/pork - 5/5 Thai egg rolls w/chicken - 3/5 Chicken drunken noodle - 4/5 I order spice level 1 as I am an Asian spice wimp, and thought it was perfect flavor kick. My boyfriend ordered curry level 3 and that was spicy, but I could handle it. read more

I placed an order through DoorDash at 7:30pm. My 45 min order turned out to be nearly 2 hours. I didn't get the food until 9:30pm (the restaurant closes at 9pm). I ordered the Shrimp Spring Rolls, the Pork Egg Rolls, and the Som Tum. The best thing was the Shrimp Spring Rolls (because it would be very hard to screw that up). The Egg Rolls were chewy & uncooked. The wrapping on the outside looked crispy but once I bit into it, the wrapping on the inside wasnt cooked all the way through (so I'm pretty sure they rushed to cook it). Also, the sauce it came with was overly salty. The Som Tum was mediocre. I requested for it to be spicy. It was not. Also, they didnt provide any napkins or eating utensils. I dont mind as I dont need it but it was just something else that was wrong with this whole order. Needlessly to say, I won't be ordering from Jasmine Thai again. read more

Worst Dining Experience Ever, Food Doesn't Make up for it. I was hoping to try this place because I live very close and was looking for a good spot to frequent. Came in and got seated somewhat quickly after they cleared a table, but then once I was sat no one came to greet me for at least 20 minutes. When I finally got my order in they didn't bring me utensils when my food came out, and then when they did come back they gave me silverware but no chopsticks? I asked for soy sauce and they gave me Togo packets without a dish to put it in. So I emptied it all over my plate since I had no idea where tf the server was. Sushi came out and I had to ask for chopsticks because they only gave me a fork and I couldn't pick up my rolls by stabbing them. Good was mid at best. The veggie tempura tasted a lot heavier than anywhere else I get it, and the sauce had the taste of something from a large commercial mix. Idk I won't be back. It wasn't even very affordable. $5 for a miso soup that was alright but not special at all. I haven't actually had an experience that bad in a long time. I also used to be a server / restaurant manager so I'm pretty forgiving but I left this place feeling regretful I ever came in or spent money there. I wish I would have gone to Soberfish or Momo, IF YOURE SLAMMED STOP SEATING PEOPLE. Jesus. It's better than giving them a terrible experience. read more
