Spring rolls (Pork & shrimp) Delicious!
Caridad S.

I came for dinner and the restaurant is decoratwd beautifully. It is very clean. The bathroom is clean as well (which is important to me when dining out) The lady who greeted me and waited on me was very welcoming, friendly and attentive. The food was sooo delicious. I had the spring rolls (spring and pork) and the Pad Kee Mao (Spicy Noodles) They were both very good. I can't wait to come back and try more items from their menu soon.

When you first walk in you notice the beautiful decor and so neat and clean. We ordered our favorites- Pad Thai pork and Pad Se-Ew pork with Thai sweet tea. Sorry pictures were an after thought. Lovely restaurant, attentive staff and great food!! Would come again when in this area!

4.5 overall rating - Was craving Thai today and found this place on Google. Walked in and was immediately sat. There was no one else in the restaurant seated and it made the experience even better. We felt like royalty and the staff was very kind and professional. The restaurant was clean and my partner also noticed that the kitchen was clean and organized as well. They have a really good system because everything came out beautifully. I'd recommend this spot if you're in the area or order takeout.

Beautiful little restaurant! Very clean, and the decor is stunning. Coconut soup with chicken soothes my very soul. Pad-See-Ew and Massamun Curry both absolutely delicious. Service is excellent. Authentic, fantastic.

OK this review is going to be weird. This place is gorgeous inside and the staff are dressed authentically. There were 6 of us and the service was spot on. Now for the weird part - we ordered various spiced foods. Taste was as expected, spice did not overwhelm the flavor. However, my husband and I both experienced severe vomiting in the middle of that night. I don't know why!? Take what you need from this review but there are plenty of other Thai cuisine choices in the area. We're going to try elsewhere next time our "Eating Around the World" group wants a taste of Thai.

Intimate, amazing, fresh food!

I have been going to eat wonderful Thai food here for years... I mean years! Finally came back after a hiatus... And trying so many Thai restaurants that are close to me and Wesley Chapel thus being disappointed. So happy I came back... And will forever be traveling all the way down from Wesley Chapel to Brandon for Thai food!

First time trying this restaurant and I totally loved it! You would not think much by the outside as it's located in a shopping plaza but the food speaks for itself. A small intimate place that packs nothing but amazing flavor in the food. Service is good and I would definitely recommend to check it out for lunch or dinner.

I think it has been 10 years since I've visited this restaurant. We tried it one time after our favorite Simply Thai on Bloomingdale closed. I remember the coconut ice cream with lychee fruit was very good but I didn't remember anything else. All I know is that mom thought her sweet and sour dish was just okay so we never went back. Jasmine Thai had also been closed for renovations when I tried to revisit a second time. It was all bad timing on my part. I just had to go back for my first review of 2022 and try it again as it seems to be a local favorite in that area of Brandon and the most recent reviews all look promising. The other reviews with the low ratings seem to be more about the Pad Thai which I wouldn't order anyway. I love peanuts but not in my stir fry or noodle dishes. I had Pad Thai once or twice and I'm pretty sure I don't like it. So, I placed a takeout order over the phone and had one very important request. I asked her, "Please, please make the Thai basil spicy Thai hot for my husband, and don't give him the Americanized version or he will be very disappointed." Well, they totally delivered because he was so happy with his Thai basil with pork. So much so that he said, "Why haven't you told me about this place?" This is a guy who loves it when he breaks out in a sweat because the food is spicy hot, and has enjoyed eating spicy peppers all his life. His dad used to grow hot peppers and they would eat them off the vine. Yeah, I don't get it... but he loves it. Also, it wasn't just about the spice for him. It also has to have a good taste and it obviously did. My pineapple curry with crispy duck was good. I've had better curry at other Thai restaurants in the area, but I appreciated that there was a good quantity of pineapple and protein. The duck was also crispy which was great. What I missed was the fresh Thai basil in the curry. It was just missing that one ingredient, and I do love that basil. I also may need to order it with a medium spice level next time. I forgot to do that. The spice level was very mild but the curry and coconut flavors were there. The Thai spring roll was very good. We both agreed that the wrapping was chewy and not crispy. Maybe it's the wrap that they use. The ground pork and shrimp inside was wonderful. It had a little bit of a smoky taste as well. The fried banana coins were very yummy. This is on their dessert menu. I loved the honey sesame seed sauce. It almost tasted like there was a little wine in it but I think it was just the type of honey. It went so well with the crunchy banana bites. I would totally get this again. Which means we have to go back but next time we need to dine in. The décor is so beautiful and bright. I think it would be a great dine in experience. I immediately noticed that the service was wonderful. Also I love that the hostess was wearing traditional Thai clothing. She looked so beautiful and elegant. There were other diners in the restaurant when I was picking up my order, and the fact that it was busy didn't seem to faze her. She handled everything professionally, and even went back to get more spices for me because I was a little concerned that my husband's dish wouldn't be hot enough. This is not a concern anymore. I see more visits in the future, and I won't wait another 10 years to go back.

What do I love about Jasmine Thai?? EVERYTHING!! Nestled in shopping plaza, great food, great prices. I went twice in the last week and never disappointed on my first visit, I had the wonton soup and green curry. The soup, amazing. Chicken wontons, and the broth, rich. The green curry chicken had a bite, not a burn your mouth bite, just perfect. Not into so spicy. On my second visit, of course I had the soup again, because I can have that everyday. My partner and I shared the sampler platter and that was a meal in and of itself. Kudos to the crab Rangoon. Real cream cheese, spillith over.. Definitely homemade. Service was impeccable, and the decor, simply elegant. It is definitely my go-to for just soup or an amazing meal!

Vegetable Musaman Curry

This has been one of my go to spots for years and years. We always get a delicious meal. I've tried many things from pineapple fried rice to chicken mango curry to bang bang chicken that I know if I want to try something new, I can and will likely love it. We came around 6:30pm on a Friday night, and it was busy. Keep in mind this is a smaller place with one main waitress so if you have a shorter patience, you may want to come outside of their peak dinner rush. Tonight my table had the appetizer sampler, vegetable musaman curry, chicken pad Thai, and crispy duck pineapple curry and everything was great. Please support this local gem!

Was in Brandon for an appointment and had to grab a quick lunch on the way. My co-worker and I both…read morehad salads. He said his papaya salad was the best he'd ever had, and I can attest that my Thai beef salad was above average! So fresh, well seasoned, and good portions. The papaya salad included plump shrimp and my beef salad had a very generous portion of beef. It was tender and not stringy as I have experienced in other places. The server was a doll. Hidden gem here as I presume this stretch of road which is directly across from Brandon Hospital would just typically have travelers who are for whatever reason at the hospital or clinics near by. We were told there is a sister location in Lutz which we will surely visit. This location is definitely going to be on my list of Thai restaurants to revisit regularly!

My sister and I, before she moved to college, had a thing where we would try all our local Thai restaurants. As someone who has now gone to Thailand and tried local cuisine, Thai Chilli Pepper has remained as a top contender. Their service is always sweet and caring and the decor is great for a relaxing dinner with friends or even a date night! The classic, Pad Thai, has great flavor and I love that their noodles come with a lot of sauce! Summer rolls with the peanut sauce is always a banger. I have tried almost all their Curreys, they all taste phenomenal; they even sell ToGo baggies to those who want to make their own Currey at home with their recipe! Bangkok wings are crisped to perfection. Thai tea has a rich, creamy flavor profile which surprisingly a lot of people mess up. This time around I wanted to try their Seafood Tom Kha and their Yum Beef Salad. I got them both medium and it was the perfect amount of spice, flavor, and punch. I'm telling you. They never disappoint!

They have their own parking in this plaza. Walked in here around 8:30 PM. They close at 10PM. A lot of places around closed earlier for a Thursday night from my search. It was empty, but people took food to go. We had the place to ourself. Nice and chill. We had two males assist us. One was new and shadowing. They were very nice and helpful. We went with the pad thai chicken and added shrimp. $3 more for shrimp for 5 of them. We asked for sweet and extra saucy and limes. Our dish was so big for both of us and it came out just perfect. We will def keep this in mind bc both of us loved their pad thai. I thought the prices were up there, and I figured bc of the area, but when we were able to split this one seeing how big it was, it was worth it for sure.

Booking a reservation online was so easy, and it didn't end up being a busy evening, as it was a Tuesday night, so we could have easily walked in, as well. The parking was easy and upon driving up, I instantly remembered that this location used to be Roux, a great New Orleans inspired restaurant where I used to frequent for brunch. The same tiled ceiling is still in placed but the remaining features of the restaurant have all changed. The space is open and inviting, and the bar at the entrance has been updated. Our server was friendly and helpful, and the menu is lengthy with plenty of great options. I ordered the fried tofu for our starter, and it was perfectly cooked and the dipping sauce was delicious! The tofu was as so plentiful that I ended up taking half the starter home. They definitely give you plenty! For our entrees, I ordered Panang Curry with steamed tofu and my friend ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice. Both dishes came out hot and smelled lovely, and the taste was out of this world! I ordered medium and it was the perfect spice level, and the curry was so flavorful and delicious! It may even be the best Panang Curry I've had in Tampa!
