Gel X french tip ombré cost $80 and although it looked nice at the end, I had 3 cuts on my fingers and ended up leaving with blood crusted around the cuticle of my right thumb. I thought it was strange how the nail tech didn't use a cuticle nipper in the beginning but instead went in with a nail drill tool towards the end on my cuticles. It felt careless. The nail tech didn't say anything until I noticed and pointed it out at the end as I was paying and then she said sorry. I couldn't help but feel the stinging of my cuticles during my wedding weekend because it took 3-4 days to heal. Maybe it was the nail tech I had but I don't know if I'd come back. read more

If you don't like how your nails look or are very particular about the style, they will fix it on the spot. Make sure to book an appointment because they get pretty busy. I called this morning at 10 AM and was able to secure an appointment for 3PM for the same day with no additional wait time upon arrival. My cousin and I had made an appointment around 4pm on a Wednesday and it was packed! The staff was super friendly. I wish I had gotten the name of the guy who did my mani pedi but he was super considerate when he tried to jump in to ask what shape I wanted my nails as I was deeply concentrated in my conversation with my cousin and he didn't want to interrupt. I wouldn't have mind if he did interrupt, but the fact that he waited till there was a pause to ask was really nice of him! The facilities was super clean and the chairs had a massage feature so that was a plus! There's a small parking lot so parking can be full, but it's shared with some fast food places so those spaces should be open if you have the patience to wait a bit! This review is LONG overdue. I've been coming here for over a year now, and every single time, no matter who does my nails, they turn out amazing. That includes pedis as well, which isn't as frequent though. I went in last Thursday, and as always, I came out super happy. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. But what you don't see in the pictures is the mess they made of my real nails under the gel. I came in with gel already, and asked for a color change. This woman FILED OFF ALL OF THE GEL DOWN TO MY REAL NAILS. She was using way too much pressure and probably too rough of a file. My nails looked ripped apart when she was done filing. She made a deep dent/hole in one of my real nails. She stopped and looked surprised/scared when she did it and said sorry. I was not rude whatsoever. I was nice about it and figured it was a one time mistake. Then she FILED MY SKIN on my cuticle area which hurt. She apologized and then DID IT AGAIN moments later. Then she switched with someone else who didn't do a better job. I was expecting to just have the top layer of gel filed off so my real nails would be protected. Maybe I'm wrong about that being the standard. I should've asked for that specifically, I guess. I asked her to be extra careful with the filing because I didn't want a lot of damage. I got my worst nightmare. I also (politely) asked them to be very minimal with my cuticles--I asked them to only take off what was absolutely necessary. As you can see, they made a mess of my cuticles. It was heartbreaking. This experience is the reason I will never be getting my nails done at any salon again. This was a couple months ago btw. I was a walk-in. Not sure if that contributed to the poor work. I got these nails soaked off somewhere else shortly after, and since then have been doing everything I can to get them strong again at home. I've had more breakage than ever since this manicure. My nails were so thin. My cuticles haven't grown back on some parts of my nails. I wish I didn't pay. I didn't complain, but I was dying inside. This was around $60 to have my nails RUINED. My friends and I walked in on a Saturday morning. They took all of us in no time. I recommend calling ahead of time even if you are a walk in. They had a full house! They asked us to wash our hands when we came in, which is much appreciated. They portioned out the amount of acetone and sanitized the area. I had a basic gel manicure done on short nails. The color was Ash Rose 124. I believe it was Hanna who did my nails. She did them very fast(20 minutes!) with gentle care. There is nothing I can find to complain about. It's been a long time since I have gotten my nails done. Like I barely leave my house and follow guidelines. I'm so happy to have come back to Jasmine Spa Nails. They recently opened up again. It is one of the cleanest salons I've seen. Everyone wore masks and I had my temperature checked at the front, and was instructed to wash my hands before I could sit. The salon is clean, and each nail station has partitions between the nail tech and you. It is by appointment. And they space people out and limit the number of people in the store. There is hand sanitizer at each station. They try to follow COVID guidelines for safety. Hana did my gel extensions and she is thorough and sweet. She checked in with me along the way to make sure I was happy with the shape, length and color. I showed her an inspo pic and it came out so well! We did funny bunny for the gel color and a skinny almond shape. The gel extensions feel pretty comfortable. She also did a cuticle cleaning for an extra $5. The designs are sooo good! Got a nail tip extension, and really enjoyed the atmosphere of the spa as compared to so many others. The people that work there laugh and chat, and work as a team. You don't get the feeling that they are talking about you though like you do in so many other spas. They did a great job for a decent cost. 5 stars for their awesome safeguards against Covid. Clients are seen by appointment only. Staff wear masks, and many have face shields. Sanitizer is provided and temperature checked when you arrived. Customers are also politely asked to wash hands upon arrival before choosing a nail polish color. I had been so anxious about getting a mani/pedi but the way safeguards were implemented here put me at ease. Prices are a bit high $$-$$$ but the quality of service is top notch. The only complaint I would have and this is not the nail shops fault is the parking lot. It's a small lot for the businesses there and street parking is limited. I was dropped off today so this helped but I can imagine when PCC is in session parking is more difficult. read more

Gosh I'm so disappointed to have to update my review to 1 star. Although my previous review is true with color selection unfortunately my last visit was the end for me. Excited to show up to my prebooked appointment i waited for my technician to start my manicure. With past experiences waiting for my turn was always an issue. So I expected it this time. Even tho I had an appointment I waited again. Nonetheless I got a random technician I hadn't seen before because I trusted the salon I said go ahead and start. Reluctantly I sat as this technician did my nails. I spent the last 5 months growing out my nails and this time I wanted hard gel instead of gel x. It was for New Year's Eve and I was leaving town so I only had that time to get my nails done. The technician RUINED my nails. I was so sad and it was disgusting looking at my hands. Everytime I looked at my nails I cried. I reached out to the owner several times and she didn't care and said it was my fault. It was obvious she never liked me which is horrible customer service given I was on time every time and paid cash every time. So so so sad that this was the outcome because I was so happy to have finally found a "good nail salon" Still too bad since it ruined my trip my time and my nails. INSANE PRICING- This place tried to charge me $79 for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. When I asked them to break down the pricing because I was shocked, they up-charged me an additional $5 for taking off a gel nail polish when all I had on was regular nail polish. I called them out on that. An additional $5 for metallic gel polish on top of the $36 dollar gel manicure. An additional $2 added to my pedicure because I wanted glitter polish. I told them $79 was a price I would pay to get acrylics done and I've never paid more than $60 for a combination of a gel manicure and pedicure with all the works including tip. They tried to tell me that they were currently the cheapest in town and everyone locally had raised their prices. The first thing I did when I left was call Christina Nails in Pasadena to check their pricing for a gel manicure and it's $25 Thanks Christina I'll be coming back to you because your prices are great with much, much less Sh*t talking...Jasmine nails is the ultimate in sh*t talking. You ask one question or tell them you don't want matching nails and toes and the place goes off with comments in Vietnamese (we all know that's pretty common) but more than ANY OTHER place I've EVER been to...it's LEGIT for Sh*t talking to the MAXIMUM. read more

I just left the nail salon, I walked in after school to see if they take walk ins, the lady okayed it. I sat down and they started working on my hands and feet, like any other place would. Except, they were in a huge hurry! There was only two people there at the time of my arrival. The pink base to my toes, with a French tip looks like two different off colors. My youngest looks like he did the French tip. The lady who did my hands was trying her hardest to do my hands nice and she cut me twice and burned me once. Went here with a girlfriend of mine who had been before and said nothing but good things. Pretty friendly staff and the location was COVID friendly making sure everyone was spaced out inside the salon. Good quality job on my nails, I got them at least 2-3 weeks ago and they still look new. I usually always get gel manicures and it was fairly cheap here for the quality they punch out. If you want a place to relax, pay a good price, and get good quality I highly recommend Jasmine. Parking was a bit tight here so go early or make sure you're prepared to walk a bit. The location is next to a few eating locations including Yoshinoya so you definitely can fix a good meal after getting fixed up. read more

My new favorite! I've been twice for pedicures and was very satisfied both times. The polish was applied to just the right thickness and the edges of the nails were given a touch of polish which gives a finished look and helps it last. The last time, the manicurist suggested with the sparkly color I chose, I might want a solid base coat in the same shade. She went and selected the color and she was so right, it was a much better look. I don't love massage chairs but a few minutes of kneading was kind of fun. I apriciate them taking me in last min. I also understand inflation but having to pay extra for them to clean your cuttlicles is ridiculous. I've never been to a Solon that charges extra for that. The price to the gel x went up and on top of that I need to pay extra for something that should be included? That makes no sense to me. The lady who did my nails did a poor job too. I've been coming to Jasmine Spa Nails for about two months now and I'm seriously impressed. It's been so hard to find a good nail salon with talented artists who do gel-x and for a reasonable price! All of the artists here are more than capable of creating what you want. So far I've gone to Natalie and Kim and they're both amazing. I really appreciate their attention to detail and dedication to creating perfect nail designs. So far, I've gotten mermaid nails here (my first set), neon tip nails, and my latest set was tortoise nails! All of them turned out beautifully. This was Kim's first time doing tortoise nails actually! I showed a picture of an inspiration but I already assume I would be a happy customer because someone posted tortoise nails before.
