They picked out an acrylic pre-painted (light summer peach) gel in short almond shape nail set for me. I was like, do whatever. So they did! She filed in down to fit my fingers and they went on perfectly and so strong! I have never had so many compliments in my nails before! My boyfriend kept looking at my hands. And one girlfriend said two weeks later, "Hey can we go get our nails done and do lunch". Lunch was great, but I think she really wanted what I was having with the nails! Lol! Anyway, the nails hung on really well for at least three weeks. My real nails, which are normally weak, are in good shape, too. I'm ready to go back now! Totally recommend. Parking is tight, but you can park on side streets, if it's busy. Calling ahead is a good idea, too. There are a lot of nail places in the area, but I give this an A+++! read more

I would give this place a 3.5 / 5 Christina did my gel manicure and she was really pleasant and bubbly. She was fast & did a great job on my gel manicure. But I'm pretty unhappy with the pricing of this place because I only got a gel manicure with the chrome (basic Haley Bieber nails) & I got charged $60. $40 for gel mani & $20 for the chrome which I thought was pretty expensive for something so basic. I also got a regular pedi for $25 & $5 to remove previous gel pedi. So in total, I paid $90 & $20 in tip. Ambience -- this place was really cute & clean. The decor was girly and creative. I just think that in order to get recurring customers, you have to be more fair with the pricing. The chrome add on should have only been $10, considering how easy it was to do. read more

Went in for a pedicure and didn't have an appointment and got seated quite quickly which I was very pleased about but it was all down hill from there. The person I had who did my pedicure snagged me twice which was painful and not pleasant and had an attitude with me for responding to it. I also asked for a shiny buff and it was just done very poorly with no fine attention to detail. I tried to explain to the specialist that I wanted my nails sanded down so that you don't see all the lines or grooves in my toe nails but you can tell she wasn't pleased by my comments. She shouted something to another one of the specialist and seemed very annoyed by my request and nothing was done. Had the calluses removal treatment as well on my feet and this was also just done in poor fashion. No lotion put on my feet after it was all said and done and then noticed she put Vaseline on my feet instead. I planned on asking for a manicure once they were done with my feet but after the level of service I just received there was no way that was going to happen. There is way too many options in Pasadena to be receiving service like this at this level and it was a major disappointment. I tried this place because I was so impressed by the 4.9 review score and feel like I played myself by choosing here and I will definitely never return. (Update to Managers Response) Rebecca, thank you for your prompt and thoughtful response. I fully understand that living in California means working with people from many different language backgrounds. However, what confuses me is why your technician worked alongside another technician, yet no one followed up with me. It was clear that I was dissatisfied, which I'm sure you could see in the video you reviewed. You mentioned that I should have communicated my preferences directly to the technician, but I did express what I wanted, and unfortunately, nothing was done to address my concerns. It would have been helpful to know who she was speaking with or to have a senior technician check in on me. While I appreciate the extra time she dedicated, as you pointed out, it was unacceptable for my feet to be left in their condition. I had to apply lotion myself at home because none was used after the callus removal procedure. read more

It can be overwhelming deciding a color when there's so much option. Compared to other salons there isn't much customer service. Don't expect them to give you any beverages. Have been coming to this nail salon regularly for the last year, I usually left pleased without any issues until my most recent visit this week. I requested a simple gel manicure and wanted to see 4 different nude colors. I was told looking at any more than 3 colors would be an additional charge - this was an off putting response from a nail technician. I did not request any additional designs, or anything out of the ordinary so this was a shocking experience to say the least. I showed her picture from their yelp that had the acrylic design but I didn't want acrylic nails or too many add on bulky gems, and Christina adjusted for my actual nails that's shorter and she added light glittering that doesn't weigh me down like the stock photo. Was going for the ocean vibe for my project and Christina took her time, was careful and meticulous, and did an amazing job! It looks way better in person than in photos and I love it! She was friendly and easy to work with and I'll definitely request for her again if I come back! I've lived here for 28 years and this is my favorite salon in Pasadena. Han is incredible!! She's been doing my nails for months now and I won't go anywhere else. I've had terrific manicures from most of the staff - you truly can't go wrong. They are so methodical with your nails, truly striving for (and achieving) perfection! Saw this spot which is the same plaza as the UPS store when I was dropping off some Amazon returns. They were having a promo for 30% off all services and I was in need of pedicure so decided to drop in. I had to wait about 10 minutes for the tech to finish up on a client but got to browse colors the services in the meantime. It is very clean and with a modern look. I went for a bubble bath pedicure which included exfoliation, massage and hotel towel. The tech was super nice and she gave me a free tea drink. She did a great job on my pedicure and I liked that she took her time with everything. I've been to other nail salons where they seem to want to rush everything and thus the quality is subpar. And we all want to relax and enjoy our time at a salon. I was able to just chill in the massage chair for awhile after she was done to let my nails dry which was nice and put on a pair of the disposable flip flops for me (I usually wear my own but this was unplanned). They only take cash, venmo or Zelle for payment. I asked and they do take reservations which might be recommended as they only had 2 techs working when I went on a Friday around 5pm. Came for a gel nail appointment and I got silver cat eye/velvet nail polish. The staff was very accommodating and the store was clean and bright. I really appreciate the care each staff person put into our manicures. I went with a couple of friends and even though we picked out a nail polish, they prepped our nails and painted one coat of what we picked to check if we liked it! Also double checked if we were ok with the shape/length. This was very thoughtful and I was able to show my artist what I wanted and we were able to adjust along the way. I saw this as well for my friend who picked out a nail color for her French nail design and change it after too. Staff also took the time to make sure no extraneous gel was touching the sides of our nails or skins before we put it under the UV lamp. I felt like they were very patient and professional! Pricing was very fair, I will definitely be coming back. We had some trouble parking but the staff actually told us that we could park in the lot right behind the store. read more
