I was at the salon on June 7th for a gel builder manicure. Within four days, two of my nails cracked and one broke in half. I called within a week to let them know, and I was told the repairs would be done at no charge as long as I reported it within that timeframe. I was also advised to take photos to document the date in case I couldn't come in right away. When I came in today, I was told I would be charged because I had gel builder, as if a gel builder manicure is only expected to last four days. I showed the picture and let them know what I was told, unfortunately they do not keep their word. This was very disappointing and completely inconsistent with what I was originally told. To make matters worse, after fixing the nails, the staff did not help me find a color that matched my existing nails and instead rushed me to "make a decision." The entire experience felt unprofessional and customer service was clearly not a priority. Unfortunately, this experience reminded me why I stopped coming here in the first place. It seems the focus is more on making money than on standing behind the quality of the work or taking care of customers. I left feeling disappointed. read more

Update: my big toe with the cut has been throbbing for the last 2 days and I believe it may be infected. Going to the doctor if it doesn't go away in the next 24 hours. Really wanted to love this place because of the reviews and how clean the inside was. (Pretty sure the 5 star reviews are mostly because they offer $5 off with a Yelp review). I asked for a regular manicure and pedicure. Steven was very nice and accommodating when I asked for a couple of my nails on my hands to be redone because they were visibly streaky. However, even with the redo (it no longer is streaky but) has unevenness to it as visible in the photo. The initial person who had done my hands (Steven had originally done my feet but did an unevenly filed big toe and a cut on the same big toe as shown in image) didn't even come around to correct her own mistake and had Steven redo it despite her just sitting there watching soccer, which felt very unprofessional. Cute nails and quick service but my acrylic nail popped off after 1.5 weeks. Pretty bummed bc of how much I spent. Won't be going back unfortunately. Update I spent 105 for this acrylic set. I wasn't going to go back but I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt. I called and the lady on the phone was very nice and said I could come in the following day at 5:30 to get it fixed. I feel relief. I come in as agreed and the lady at the front desk said to come back the next day to get it fixed instead. No one is available to do them today she said. I told her I called on the phone. She asked if I got them done here and I said yes 1.5 weeks ago. After some back and forth for five minutes with a nail tech she said to wait. My mom and I have been coming to Aria for a couple years now, but the last couple of times we've come have been bad enough to switch salons. On MULTIPLE occasions my mom has been cut, and rather than stop the bleeding they just dunked it in alcohol l. Also, my gel-x tips were pretty butchered. I asked for cat eye (they have many colors/brands), but it was clear that the technician didn't know how to do it and it looks pretty bad tbh. I came back in 2025 to get Gel X and they came off completely within a week. didn't think much of it since every other time was fine. Came back again today to get my manicure done. Everything was fine until 8 hours later my manicure very noticeably CHIPPED on THREE nails. Absolutely dissapointed and will never be coming back again. It's really sad how unorganized this nail shop has become. I called ahead of time to ask if they have time for an acrylic set and a pedicure. They said yes if I can be there as soon as possible and I was there within 20 minutes when I got there I got my pedicure done and waited over 30 minutes to be told that I can get my acrylic set after closing time but I still have to wait another 20 minutes. It took forever for a person to let me know that I will be waiting. If you cannot do a service within your timeframe of your hours please let your customers know that it is way better to let them know. You can only do one service instead of having them wait and they only end up doing one service. They have become very ignorant and non nice people. One worker told me she could do my nails in about 20 minutes, which was after closing time which was after me waiting about 40 minutes for my nails, but she said I have to be nice to her in front of all customers. So unprofessional. It's really sucks this place has become like this because they have good people who do great nails. They need to be better at scheduling their clients. read more

Used to love this salon, well maybe my tech Angel who no longer works here. I always thought they had great service until the last two times I visited. Both times I asked for builder gel on natural nails, both times I ended up with something different: Acrylic and then tip with builder gel. The last time I wanted milky white as the color and the lady was like "Why? Milky white is so ugly and you can see the streaks when you put it on", hoping that I would change my mind on the color but I didn't. So when she put it on, my nails ended up looking just plain white because she didn't know how to paint after 3 coats. On both occasions the two ladies who did my nails seemed tired like they are just there because they have been in the industry for too long and no longer care about the customer. I have used this nail salon before. Today I decided to get a regular Mani Pedi. if you don't have cash for a tip, then you, Zelle it or use Venmo. I accidentally Zelle to the wrong technician. I had two different technicians for manicure and pedicure. I tipped $15, I thought that would be for both. The manicure is $30. The mani pedi was 56.00I feel like I was thrown a lot of shade for first of all sending the money to the wrong person, and second I felt pressured to tip $15 for each person after my error by her attitude. I will not be back. I'm going to use Lumi nail salon which is on Lake Avenue. It's only five dollars more. It was great until checkout and then the vibes went bad. I ended up paying $86 for a regular Mani Peci, not gel. Ridiculous. Also, the nail polish for regular Manny Petty. Those bottles looked really old and the color they used on me was obviously kind of thick and old. It seems as if they are trying to get you to upgrade to gel manicure or some such by putting old, tired, thick bottles of regular polish on the shelf. All the gel looked great when you went to pick out your color, but the regular polish was old. read more

I would say, this is a legit spot. They only do gel x acrylic, aka that whole nail which they stick on... and not the older traditional method with wet powder to build your nail. The lady did a great job, the paint was perfect, I was impressed. Also... when I was done the nail technician didn't even wait around expecting a tip, which impressed me again, she just took the next customer after doing a great job with me. I went to her and handed her a cash tip even as she was with her next client after me, she was kind and grateful. I like this place, I would come back. It's clean. Bang for your buck. Definitely not overpriced. I prefer Russian pedicures because they last longer and don't require soaking but couldn't get a last minute appointment so booked here and hoped for the best. Overall, the pricing is on par with typical nail salons. The only peculiar thing was that my nail tech used an e-file then soaked my nails with one long cotton ball for literally a minute before beginning to e-file all the polish off anyways. They were quite busy but glad you can book an appointment online because walk ins are never guaranteed. You don't want to be waiting 30-45 mins because you decided to come in without an appointment. Parking lot is in the back. Drive past it on Lake and drive into the Ralph's parking lot. The entrance to the parking is on Mentor Ave. read more

Jason was nice and did a decent job on my nails but instead of soaking off my old acrylics, he pried them off one by one. This was extremely painful and he ended up ripping off half of my pinkie nail and making it bleed in the process. I probably should not have put acrylic on top of the ripped nail but I work with my hands (I'm a hairdresser) and couldn't have an open wound either. I came in on Tuesday as a walk-in for a regular mani and pedi. I saw great reviews on Yelp and the salon looked clean and professional, so I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, there was nothing high quality about this place. Customer Service: Normally, salons give you a color book or help you find the shade you're looking for, but when I asked about a baby pink polish, the receptionist who was busy watching loud videos on her phone, just told me to "keep looking" at the wall of hundreds of colors. When I asked again if she could help or recommend a shade, she said, "there's many shades, you keep looking." No help at all. The nail tech who was assigned to do my mani also brushed me off. When I asked if she knew where my shade was, she said, "I don't know, there's a lot of pinks, just keep looking okay." I spent about 15 minutes trying to find something close, while employees just stood there watching. I've never had that kind of experience at other salons--usually someone helps me find the closest shade, since they're familiar with their polishes. During the Service: The tech doing my mani was rude and had an attitude. She filed my nails aggressively, and when I asked for almond shape, she laughed and said, "Oh no, your nails are too short for almond. I'm doing round, okay." Not as a question--just telling me. I always get almond regardless of length, so that was frustrating. She made my nails so thin during filing that they burned when she applied prep products. Before she began painting, she pulled out the nail polish I chose, and asked "so you want this shade?" and I said "yeah, I guess so, since I couldn't find the one I wanted". She gets up, and brings me the exact nail polish I wanted-- so clearly, she knew where it was but didn't bother to help me the first time. She begins painting and I noticed how unevenly and carelessly she applied the polish. She could tell I wasn't happy, and she kept saying "i'll make it better, okay". At the end, she adds a shiny coat and said "See, I made it better." but it still didn't look good. I also overheard another woman upset about not getting help finding a color, and the receptionist ignored her too, and went on a call. Results: Two days later, my nails started chipping, and by day three they were broken because they were filed so thin. (I included time stamps on the pictures) I've never had this happen, especially after paying $70. At that price, I expect at least a week of wear. My pedicure and the assigned tech was fine. I paid, tipped, and left, but I will not be coming back. I'm sharing this so others know what to expect. read more

I've been going here for 6months now and most of the time it's the best experience! From basic nails to harder designs I'm always satisfied! That is if I don't get Helen as my nail person. I have been unfortunate enough to get her a couple times to do a pedicure and she was so rude and insulted me. I came in after running a marathon, so I knew my toes were a mess, and normally when I get my nails done post race they never say a thing and take care of them. However, Helen pointed this out and looked disturbed, I told her they were sensitive and she still applied so much pressure. Another instance of her insulting me was I came in once again for a pedicure, and I hadn't shaved me legs in a week or so (no one's business) and she yet again pointed that out. The lack of professionalism and the judgement makes me feel like I am not wanted.
