Happy with my nails... better priced than some so I am happy to become a regular. Good quality. They fit me in as a walk in. I'd recommend this place. Pretty friendly and they don't pressure heavily to tip, which I do tip but I just enjoy tipping more when people aren't pushy. read more

I called ahead to make an appointment on a Friday afternoon and they wrote down the wrong name, but no worries it wasn't too busy! Service was quick, obviously I was tried multiple times to be upsold on my service requested but I just declined. Weirdly they had Baywatch on the tv on silent, and no music playing so that was... a vibe. No real complaints but can't say the service was above and beyond. read more

I think they did an awesome job fulfilling my request for French Gel Manicure. For $41, I think it's a reasonable price for gel French mani with slight pink base. The staff who did my nails was very helpful. She mentioned the difference between clear and pink base, I never got French mani with pink base before, so I decided to try it and it's the best decision! They all look so cute! They did a good job despite my request on keeping my nails very short. read more

On the pricey side, but worth it the couple of times I've gone. Maggie is the owner and typically does my nails. She takes the time to shape them just the way I like them (I like mine natural, not acrylic). Today I chose too bright of a pink for my toes, and Maggie was super nice, and when she was done with my mani, I asked if we could add a layer of lighter pink on my toes, which she did, and I loved the color so much more. She was very accommodating and is always very friendly. Make sure to take a peek at their pricing sheet. There are many options, and services such as callous removal, sugar scrub, massage, paraffin and gel are extra cost, as expected. read more

5 stars - a loyal customer! I have gone to MANY nail salons and I've FINAlLLY found my one :) I've had quite a few stylists do my mani/pedi, ranging from regular to gels, and ALL of them have close attention to detail and I'm VERY happy with how they turn out. They've raised their prices a bit, but it's to be expected especially after covid. But I think it's still worth that pampering. read more

If i could zero stars i would. Mui had attitude since she sat me down. She cut me twice with the drill and looked at me with attitude as if I did something wrong. Then when it was time to pay, she rolled her eyes and accused me of not paying on Venmo, and then walked away with more attitude. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! read more

Needed a last minute pedicure and this place quickly accommodated me. I was a bit hesitant at first, as it is not as updated as the surrounding nail spas. But the quality of their service was wonderful, and everyone is so kind. The price was also significantly less than other places. I would definitely come back again. read more

I Cannot express how much I love my nails. They always say if you find a good nail technician, keep her! Maggie is definitely AMAZING when it comes to her work. B E A-UTIFUL! My pedicure lady was ok, the color we picked was much darker than the picture I shared. Try out the color even if you have a line behind you. . My manicure lady took the time to help me find the color I wanted. All ladies are real sweet. I think with all mail service providers any reasonable person observing would agree with a few things, the bitchy impatient client who always wants to go first or is late or in a hurry to something. Nail Lady ATE, I completely forgot to ask for the name of the lady that did my set, but I remember she had a pair of blue framed glasses on! She was very nice and patient, dedicated and professional. It took her a couple tries to get the lines straight and symmetrical while working on both of my ring fingernail's designs, which I'm very glad that she did because it shows that she cares about the result of her work. This set was $60 + $25 designs on 4 fingers and took around 2.5 hours. I will definitely be coming back for more sets in the future. The store itself is in a quiet area, finding parking may be a little bit difficult if you are unfamiliar with the area. I too wish to mention that I hope people can be more understanding and kind towards workers whose first language is not English, as long as you remain patient and communicate to them about your needs, requests, and expectations- they will listen and perform a very very great job. read more

This was my first time going to Princess Nails and it did not disappoint. I was a walk-in on a Monday morning and it was packed but I didn't mind waiting however I only waited for less than 10 minutes. Julie did my gel toe nails and did an amazing job. Maggie also did an amazing job on my nails and went above and beyond. She used these clear type of nails to make them all even and I showed her a picture of white and pink glitter French manicure from Pinterest. I was sooo happy. Haven't had my nails and toes done in over 2 year since having my son. Since I started working across the street, this is my new spot! These ladies did and amazing job and were super sweet! This is my new go to nail place in Pasadena! There usually is a wait, so I suggest making an appointment ahead of time. There is street parking that somewhat easy to find - just make sure to read the signs. Katie is my go-to - this is the second time she's done my nails and I am obsessed. I typically get gel manicures and she does a phenomenal job, really taking her time to clean everything up and going the extra mile to not damage my nails/nail beds when removing gel. She's also been in the nail game for 30+ years and has given me great advice for nail/cuticle care. In terms of COVID - all nail techs wear masks, you are social distanced from other customers and there are shields between yourself and the tech. The shop was very clean and comfortable. Everyone in the shop is super sweet and accommodating. I definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new nail spot. read more

Quality was great the last 2 times I've gone for gel manis. Low rating bc I went in asking how much a design would be also specifying for a gel manicure, got quoted 37, asked again today before they started me then when it was time to pay I was charged $70. I got a breakdown of 37 for gel mani, 25 for design and 10 for gel removal which in the end made sense but I wouldn't have got what I did if I was quoted correctly. Besides that prices and service are great for what you get. read more

I hate leaving negative reviews, especially when I know that it's tough times for many people/businesses, and folks are working hard, but unfortunately my experience here was disappointing/painful to say the least. I booked an appointment for gel removal and a gel manicure with nail art on my ring finger nails. The booking process was easy, and they were able to see me shortly after the appointment start time. This place is definitely more on the no-frills side of things, which personally I'm fine with, but if you're looking for more of a relaxing, clean environment, this isn't it. My nail technician Maggie was nice, and I enjoyed talking with her, but yikes was she aggressive with my cuticles! Unfortunately they bled and stung a lot while she was trimming the cuticles and budding the nails (often scraping over the raw cut skin) and were tender for a couple days after. You can see in the photos a bit of redness still there immediately after the manicure, and the darker red where it's scabbed over. She worked on the nail art carefully, and I'm pleased with the design, but the polish application for the manicure overall was pretty sloppy and I ended up with hardened coats that stuck my nail to the edges of my fingertips (pictured) that I later had to gently separate with a toothpick. I've had gel manicures from other places before that have been great, and I gave this place a try for the first time, but I don't think I'll be returning. My gel mani also started chipping and cracking on Tuesday (just 4 days after the Friday appointment), which is the shortest amount of time I've personally had a gel mani start to chip. Given the cost of the mani ($45 + $8 tip) in relation to the quality of the mani and service, this place really fell flat. I'll be going back to my usual spot next time which is only slightly pricier but a whole different experience (for the better). read more

Friday I went to get my brows waxed and left with a deep gash right under my left brow. The women waxing my brows slipped with the tweezers and cut my eye TWICE. She didn't let me know what she did because she was embarrassed. She left the room and came back with alcohol. She said "this is gunna burn, I cut you a little" and it really hurt. I paid and tipped her and the gash continued to burn for the rest of the day and burned when I washed my face that night. There is a deep cut and I know it's gunna scar. Eyes are very precious and there is NO room for mistakes like this... I normally get my brow waxed here and I've always had a good experience but this lady messed up BIG time and I will NOT be going back here unless it's to show my scar. read more

Disappointing. I came on Saturday about 1 o'clock. I showed a short medium short almond nail and my nails came out so ugly. They are leaning all towards one side. I have an event tomorrow and I just want to cry. Why do they do this? They are not giving you a free or low pay service. So why do they give you a cheap service? I cannot begin to tell you how amazing my lash tech Taylor was. I've had my lashes done before and they have been itchy, too much space between and my eyes would burn. I kept getting told that maybe I was just sensitive or that I did something to my lashes. Taylor showed me sensitive eye glue and she said that she would use it on me! That was so nice of her. I know that sensitive glue cost way more and most lash techs don't want to waste product, I appreciate that Taylor cared and was honest. We chit chatted and at the end I felt like i was talking to an old friend. Taylor is amazing and her prices are so reasonable! On a whim, I decided to get my nails done after having another appointment in the area. I happened to be nearby I called and they were free. So, I went in and got a gel manicure and pedicure + eyebrow waxing for $89. Kim did my pedicure and my eyebrow waxing. Both ladies were meticulous my nails look BEAUTIFUL. They were a little aggressive with the metal tools, cleaning up my cuticles and trimming. So, both my foot and fingernails have areas were the skin was broken. That's the only negative to me. Depending on how long my polish lasts I'll be back. read more

The girl who was supposed to do my waxing was already in a rush, rushing me when I got in there and was presenting with attitude. She had a bracelet on that kept rubbing my eyelid when she was working on my eyebrows, and I had verbalized to her in a nice manner originally, but she was having attitude already at me and basically being pretty rough when it comes to removing the wax. And then she missed a few spot and when I pointed out that she missed a spot, she was giving me attitude while telling me to lie down and then when I got back up after she was done and told me that she was done, she looked at me and was like what are you doing? I still need to put cream on you. And suddenly I feel gaslit because she was the one who told me to get up and then she followed that by asking if we have any problems because I am making her feel very uncomfortable here while giving me attitude. When really I haven't really verbalized anything and I have barely verbalized my concern about the eyelid and that's basically because her bracelet keeps touching my eyelid because it dingles down. The front desk lady have said that she tends to have attitude for whoever is last on her list and I find a very unfair that they book her as my cosmetologist if they know that that's the issue. If they're going to hire employees are representing their company I sure hope that they evaluate their personality and their customer service aspect because that is the most important when it comes to these kind of role and if they're not happy and don't wanna work here, they really shouldn't take additional clients or they shouldn't have the job here. As someone who works in a place of customer service, I always make sure that I don't bring my personal opinions or emotions in. This whole experience made me feel kind of uncomfortable and also feeling like I don't really want to come back and make an appointment with that person ever again. By the end of the session after she gave me the mirror I told her she had missed a few spot. I mean, there were clearly hair in those area, and she clearly was very upset by me pointing at things that I'm just merely pointing out at as anyone would and she is just showing her bad mood and the environment that didn't need that. I also didn't like how to only way to really book another session for "cheap" was by buying a package and the packages were pretty pricey. You also had to pay almost in full if not half the package price when checking out if you opted for it. I also felt a little pressured into buying stuff from their little shop since my waxer was watching me and explaining everything to me and I felt awkward saying no. Again, just a personal thing, I'm a little awkward when it comes to that lol. I'm not going back, but just because I found a different place that had cheaper prices and a different vibe that fit what I was looking for.
