I started taking my nail care seriously last year. I tried seven nail salons and I've been a repeat customer at Jasmine since January 2024, coming back every 2-3 weeks. I love the atmosphere, the cleanliness and the way they buff the polish off my nails, which is GENTLE and even. My dip manicure is dry (they do not soak your nails in water, which is better for your nails.). Plus their work is very consistent - I am always happy. If you get acrylics, you will want to see Linda and you will probably need an appointment. If you are a last-minute scheduling or a walk-in (which they welcome!), you might have a couple different professionals working on your nails and you may have to move chairs a few times. If I don't schedule in advance with a specific person, I'm used to bopping around as different people come in for set appointments and I need to move. If you don't like that, tell them in advance! For the dip manicure (which stands up to hot water much much much better than gel!) it regularly lasts me 3 weeks. I always get the brand that starts with a Z. They carry the unicorn brand of iridescent powders to go over any polish as well, which is fun. They have a French dip manicure available as a dip, but if you want a French dip manicure with tips other than white, it is a combination of a dip base and a gel tip. They have three books of little nail stickers from baby cats, hearts, gold designs.. the options are endless, which my daughter loves. They are always busy, especially in the evenings with a constant stream of customers and all ages from CU students to the residents of Frasier Meadows retirement community. Men come here too. It is quite a diverse spot (for Boulder)! Friday and Saturday afternoons and evenings can be super busy and it is best to have an appointment. Mornings are definitely the least busy time. They are open seven days a week and on many holidays. I really appreciate that the TVs are muted and one has views of beautiful places to travel and the other is a cake-making channel. read more

I've been to a bunch of places around Boulder and nothing even comes close to this place. Everyone here is so kind and genuinely welcoming. They always get me in, even on busy days, and they actually listen to what I want. I show them inspo pics and they kill it every time. Linda is seriously one of the best techs I've ever had. The 3 stars is for my dip polish. After two weeks it started lifting and getting caught in my clothes, and hair. Literally couldn't put my hair in a ponytail or wash it without my hair getting caught under the lifting nails. Went into the salon today to discuss. They offered me a 10% discount to have my dip redone. I let them know this was too big of an investment for me since the results were not as expected and that I'd go home to remove the polish. Mai is the best!! Jasmine nails is bright, cheerful and clean. It feels more upscale than similarly located nail salons. The large windows in front let in a lot of natural light and have nice views. The staff is professional and friendly. The space feels relaxing, spacious and happy. I always see Mai. She does an amazing job and pays great attention to detail. I've never been into nails, but she has me coming back as a regular client because she does such a great job. I'm very hard on my hands, but Mai's dip manicures last forever. I followed Lam to this business from his previous nail shop. I've been successful making appointments for a particular day, calling ten minutes ahead, or just walking in. In the rare occasions when we weren't able to make it work on a particular day, he took the initiative to follow up with me the next day. He takes his time (if I'm not in a rush) and attends to the details on the nails. He is much more gentle on my very thin natural nails as he removes the old artificial nails, which is very different from what they did at Lotus Nails -- tear them directly off by force. His skill and expertise are the best I've experienced. In fact, once I partially tore off one of my nail beds in a mishap, because the artificial nail was sturdier! He's unfailingly friendly, professional, and happy to make me happy. He'll prop the door open for fresh air at my request, weather permitting, but this is a nice, clean-smelling shop anyway. They accept Venmo, which is an extra convenience. I've been a loyal Lam customer for over 1.5 years. I often receive compliments on my nails, and then I tell them where I got them from. read more

Absolute worst experience ever. The lady couldn't understand me when I asked her to do the same design on my ring finger as my pinky, and she got so frustrated that she was being so aggressive and left me with tips and nothing else and had another worker who spoke more English tell me that she is refusing to do my nails and I need to go somewhere else. I always go to Kristina to get my nails done, and she is incredible! She is amazing at designs and has always perfected each design I've asked for and exceeds my expectations every time. I've only been to Jasmine Nails twice- I was very impressed the first time when I had an acrylic fill but this second time left much to be desired. I needed a new set and was disappointed with how they turned out. The man doing my nails was also so rough on one of my fingers that the skin became irritated and started bleeding. My wife purchased a gift certificate for me from the salon just before Covid. I came in today to get a manicure and at the end of the manicure, they refused to accept the gift certificates. They claimed that it was under new ownership, but its listed on internet as Alexan and their phone number is the same as Alexan. previous owner was now in Westminster. Excellent pedicure--attentive staff! I got the Basic pedicure, which was anything but basic--foot soak, cuticle and nail trim and filing, scrub, lotion and hot stone massage. Massage was excellent. I went on a Monday and their Basic pedicure is $28 on Mondays and Wednesdays. I just moved to Boulder so I was looking for a regular place to get my warm weather pedicures and I will definitely be going back to Jasmin Nails. Unfortunately my experience here was not great. I had asked for a gel manicure but I got just a polish change they did not trim my cuticles or care for my nail beds properly. They seemed to be in a rush and busy. The manicurist used the drill bit on my nails for far too long turning them paper thin and continued to buff them until two of my nails broke and instead of fixing them she painted the gel polish over them in thick globs. I have strong natural nails and after going here I'm going to need a nail growth reset. read more

I've been there about 5 times the past few months. At first I got a great gel manicure and was very happy. Every other appointment has had problems. From uneven nail shape to two separate technicians not knowing how to do chrome polish. When I tried to help the girl understand how to apply the chrome powder she was very rude and refused to listen. In both cases they had to take off the polish and redo the manicure. There was no apology made or attempt to make it right. I'm so sad as it came highly reviewed to me so was hoping to have found my new nail place. read more

The reason for this low rating was not the services performed (pedicures for 2), facilities or employees. It was because the big overhead tv was playing vintage Looney Tunes cartoons which were really inappropriate to show publicly. They depicted demeaning racial stereotypes that I remember seeing as a child. I was appalled and so uncomfortable but I didn't say anything because of the language barrier and the possibility that they would be unaware of why this was inappropriate. I'm hoping they will opt out of the Looney Tunes videos for something culturally appropriate. read more

She went to Jasmine, apparently thinking she went to Nails by Gena and then wrote a crappy review. Nails by Gena is in Phenix Suites and is a one lady operation. This place is also called Nails by Jena. She says she is the only person in the shop, but when I went there there were around 10 stations. Nobody, well one person, could speak English. The rest pretended that they could understand you. I could tell them what color I wanted, and they showed me everything but the color I said I wanted. They also added on some prices for things that were not charged in previous appointments. I would like to know if anyone have had nails done by this Jena. Very disappointed, if I could give this place a 0 I would. I went here asking for "Ivy" thinking it was my old nail salon, I told them I had an appointment with her. Some lady said one moment, then proceeded to sit me down. I asked the lady if she was ivy and she said yes. She proceeded to do my nails, I asked for a full set, and had a picture of the design I wanted. By the end, my nails looked horrible, the design was not what I wanted and my nails were so uneven! When it came time to pay she told me her name wasn't ivy. I paid $80 for this. I found my nail lady ivy on yelp asking for her new address and she fixed them.
