Formerly, Jas Brows, better known today as Luxurie Brows Beauty Lounge. I couldn't have asked for a more easy-to-find, private, and secluded beautician office in Lake Forest. My eyebrows have always been thin for decades, and I have wanted to get them enhanced and redefined for the longest time. A friend of mine referred me over to Jasmin (the owner/master eyebrow artist), who was more than willing to accommodate my lack of eyebrow hair. I simply scheduled my appointment with her through the link in her bio on Instagram @luxurie.brows . Jasmin consults with you prior to, and during your appointment. She genuinely takes the time to ask you "how you want your eyebrows to look" and only makes recommendations based off of your ideas and requests. She is professional, quick, and uses her cosmetic instruments with precision. I even mentioned to her, that the eyebrow tattooing felt gentle and a bit therapeutic. But I have 12 tattoos, so of course, this pain was minimal to me. I chose to have Combo Brows done, and I feel that this was the most suitable for my skin type for sure. My skin can be oily or dry, depending on the area of my face. Jasmin added some hair-like strokes into my brows along with, coloring them darker than my usual eyebrow liner, and creating more of an arch. My new brows were looking different, even, and lovelier than I expected! I went through the complete process of feeling (the eyebrows in my heart, not literally), peeling (eyebrows naturally falling off and flaking), and healing (eyebrows fading in color and then resurfacing with color again). About 6 weeks later, I came back for my touch up, and Jasmin reshaped the arch, and shaded my brows with a darker brown. I am super grateful to Jasmin for revitalizing my eyebrows, and I love the final results! I met Jasmin's mom while I was there, and she too, was very hospitable and kind. Not only did I have my brows done by Jasmine, but I also signed up for her training program! Jasmine answered all of my questions and concerns the day of my brow appointment and prior to & not once did she appear bothered by my 20 questions.
