Atmosphere - I have never seen a Denny's attached to a truck stop, but it makes sense. They had a big picture of an old Denny's attached to truck stop in the dining area. The place is filled with a bunch of booths, tables, and a counter maybe for 6 to 7 people, I did not count the spots. Food Drinks - Coffee. Breakfast - Peanut butter cream pancakes breakfast. The pancakes are great but I have to remember to tell them to go light on the cream frosting. So rich I can feel my teeth falling out just looking at it. I pretty much scraped all of it off to leave a thin coating. For me that is the perfect amount. I would say I had four large tablespoons with after removing it. Service - 9 people is always a nightmare so I thought they did a good job. Future - Sure.

Denny's - Glass so old and scratched. They are plastic so I'm hoping I don't get sick from whatever bacteria that's probably living in the scratches

Denny's - Took food home to microwave it to make sure it's safe to eat. Silverware is greasy and residue of old food on plates

I will miss you, my friend…read more For years I have been coming here whenever I was in town. It was a nice drive out of the city, in the middle of nowhere, off a lonely interstate highway. The service was always wonderful (especially the hot blonde girl), some of the food and the salad bar are (were) iffy, but they had the absolute best Steak & Salmon dinner I have ever had! It used to be $9 but it soon went up to $12 but still a bargain. The best I've had anywhere. I'd look forward to it for months. However now this place is closing. Today is the last day it will ever be in service. It will close for 2 weeks and re-open as a Denny's. That is an absolute tragedy. What's more, there are hundreds more of these around the country, and they are all being closed, and replaced by the generic, global corporation Denny's.... Farewell my friend. I met Status Quo here. They can bulldoze our buildings but they can't bulldoze our memories.

A poster sign says $8 buffet. It's a truck stop, good food, fair price. Walk in and nothing. Go back to cashier and she says help yourself. I get a plate full and notice no drinks and sit down. One of the other customers tells me that there are waitresses and will bring my a drink. After a while one shows up and asks what I'd like and brings it back with the bill. Turns out drinks are not included and $2 more. So much for a bargain. The food was marginal. Meatloaf was overworked and very dense. Fried chicken was puny and dried out. Steamed vegetables limp. It turns out that they have regular menu too. I haven't figured out how your supposed to order though. Not my best experience, still I didn't get sick. Will not likely return for food.
